Val considers volo to be a close friend!! volo in part has been rather caring and kind towards val#(he’s tried to convince himself it’s because he needs the plates but. nah. arceus clocked him. volo cares and loves val very much)#because of Val’s CFS and chronic pain sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed in the morning. or sometimes he’ll just have flare-ups-#-IN THE FIELD and his body just can’t hold himself up anymore. if volo’s around (weirdly often ;) ) he’ll carry Val to the nearest base cam#-to rest. if Val is still in jubilife and literally just can’t get out of bed volo makes him food and gives him company#Val comes to implicitly and wholly trust volo. post-game is when Val starts to realize there’s Something Else going on#but I wanna explore more of that in my art too so!!#anyway sorry for long tags yall I’m incapable of just making short ones HEVDHSSH#not described
