She’s lived in salmonid-populated areas for her whole life (like many other octolings of her kinda sorta subspecies) and thus looks a lil different from the “average” octoling. These areas are by the shore and water tends to rise pretty often, which makes Chill and other inkfish near that area kinda just…naturally a bit more resistant to water. Their ancestors or whatever kinda just evolved to be able to withstand allat a bit more.

They’re somewhere in their mid 20’s and work for Grizzco in weapon repairs with Thrash (the shark guy in the art below), despite the company’s reputation and what they do to their literal neighbors. It’s complicated (…and they pay well despite the HORRID hours).

Speaking of Thrash, they get along just fine. Chill tends to let Thrash complain to them about how much their job sucks, mostly because the people who bring in the broken weapons tend to just be careless with them. They’re polar opposites more or less, with Thrash tending to be angry and Chill being….well..A chill octo that lowkey doesn’t give a fuck. They hang out whenever they can, mostly just buying junk food and watching trash tv on the rare occasion they both have free time.

Some random stuff abt Chill would be that she enjoys the little things in life; they’re the kind of person to “stop and smell the flowers”. They were always like that, so ig that just makes them calm and cool in nature or whatever. They don’t really play inksports, but they do watch major tournaments and stuff, mostly on the off chance that someone does something stupid (she finds it funny). She also likes shopping…mostly just for random antiques. She thinks it’s fascinating how something that old belonged to someone and how well-loved it must’ve been. They’re the kinda person to have a room full of vintage dolls and trinkets (…if she had the space in her apartment for allat).
