just listened to forgive me cuz of your post and...... :-/ yeah...... it reminded me a lot of something aespa would release with added floppagitude. honestly I think I could write a dissertation on SM's descent into mediocrity and it gets tired BUT! they have made the mistake of blurring the lines between their artists and now everybody's music sounds exactly the fucking same IMO. its murky its muddy. its not even bad its just underwhelming. the only way you can tell groups apart now is by the sound of the singers voice. I miss when groups had unique concepts and sounds. like when red velvet was in their arianator era. should I move on and accept the passage of time? maybe. but this is not a phenomenon exclusive to SM artists either. its an intra AND inter company issue. everybody wants to sound like everybody else! and the ironic thing is that theyre all mimicking the worst examples ever. its a feedback loop that becomes shittier and lower quality every loop around. ppl hyped BP into oblivion so they became the standard for girl crush - garage band beat drop onomatopoeia music. straight to ya dome like woah woah woah (real line). and now even BP have now become victims of their own influence. idk. it takes guts to release MEMORABLE music nowadays. and thats why Losing Game (2022) by the soloist Le-

if you ever write that dissertation please hit me up i'll read every word bc the degradation of sm haunts me day and night. like everything you've said here is so correct i swear it all sounds the same forgive me, 28 reasons, that last aespa song, taemins last releases all of it could be on the same album. like you can mix and match basically any sm song from the past 2-3 years (with the exception of feel my rhythm maybe) and you wouldn't feel it was out of place for the artist bc its all so similar. its formulaic!!!! and its 1000000% black pink's fault. that shell of a producer teddy has made the same song 30 times and sm said 'ok so thats what the people want' IT IS NOT!!!!

• fave&least fave album: fave 100% is ‘the connect deja vu’. least fave ig is ‘rush’ sorry but their 2015 music is just eh ok ! to me

• a concept i wish they’d try: ooh idk theyve already done like as “cute” as possible w mvs like newton & from zero. maybe like the fun sci-fi/fantasy/dystopian concepts that they were doing w lost guilty beautiful trilogy. rly just anything w a narrative again :,)

• what i like most about them: heehee well idk theyre just rly funny and entertaining to watch off the stage !! & on stage theyre incredibly talented & their music is just sooo fun. and i know we dont know idols bc theyre just Some People but idk things they’ve said on vlives or at concerts or at fansigns they just seem like they rly care abt ppl. also kihyun fucking hates men lmaooo. king
