Wow what a feeling! Here is day 100 in my 100-day project, Imaginary Places. ✨🥳✨ This has been great fun! I've explored the surroundings and my dream life, as well as composition, different techniques, and some animation. I can highly recommend doing a 100-day project, as it gives you a chunk of experiments that can give you direction, inspiration, and maybe a launch into something else. It can be a tiny tiny project, but if you do it for a hundred days, it will become a lot, and you will build a routine for your creative process. I will create a flip through in my stories to celebrate during the weekend, and then I will have a moment to analyze this journey. Day 93 in my 100-day project, Imaginary Places. This night I had a lucid dream. And it was a wonderful experience. Because it turned into a dinner with my father, who passed away 12 years ago. In the dream he came to my home, a bit sad and hungry. I told him to sit down while I prepared a stew for him with his favourite ingredients – manyok, carrots, garlic, potato, green pepper, big chunks of ginger, parsley, and green lentils. I served the stew with some brown rice. When the dinner was ready I suddenly realized it was a dream, so I took the opportunity to talk with my him while we enjoyed the food. I told him how everyone was doing, sent their regards, and shared my love for him. We had a beautiful moment. About the art: Yes, I know that Adobe Fresco has a perspective grid and also I know how to use it. However, I do think my wonky freestyle perspective works better for my imaginary places. Day 91 in my 100-day project, Imaginary Places. This is a place for celebration. And an anecdote that will tell you to never give up (hrm, I might build this up a bit too much): My love lost his Stetson at the opening of the club Skeppet, one year ago. He thought it was lost forever and that made him sad because it was beautiful (and also because it was a gift from me). We haven't been to that club since (it's a great club, we‘ve just missed out on every opportunity) but as we passed by the place this weekend my love thought he could just ask for it anyway. And there it was in the bottom of their lost and found box. Very dirty, and probably a bit offended, but all the same otherwise.
