As motos mais vendidas em 2019: Honda CG é a campeã

A Federação Nacional dos Distribuidores de Veículos Automotores (Fenabrave) divulgou o ranking das motos mais vendidas em 2019. O segmento das duas rodas, depois de uma década de retração, sinaliza sinais de recuperação.

Em 2019 foram vendidas 1.077.553 motos, contra 990.394 em 2018, representando um crescimento de 14,59%. Além disso, o veículo mais vendido do Brasil, não foi um carro, mas, o modelo Honda CG 160, com 307.973 unidades. Quase 1/3 a mais que o carro mais vendido, Chevrolet Onix, com 241.214 unidades.

O quadro de vendas mostra que a base da pirâmide do consumo são as motos de baixa cilindrada. As utilitárias, em função da deficiência do transporte público nos grandes centros, da economia e praticidade nas cidades do interior do Brasil. Os scooters também se encaixam neste perfil. Os modelos de menor porte também são utilizadas como ferramentas de trabalho.

Honda CG 160: a motor mais vendida no Brasil em 2019

As motos de maior porte e esportivas, por outro lado, agregam maior valor, mesmo em menor número. O Brasil, que já figurou como o quinto maior mercado mundial, hoje ocupa o oitavo lugar, embora, a relação número de habitantes por motos seja ainda considerada amplamente favorável (baixa) e permita fértil campo de expansão.

Em termos de participação no mercado nacional de motos, a Honda, mantém a liderança com bastante folga.

História da Honda CG

Primeira Honda CG 125A Honda CG, nascida em 4 de novembro de 1976, com a inauguração da fábrica em Manaus (AM), assumiu rapidamente a liderança nacional, para não mais perder nestes 44 anos de história.

Em um cenário hostil com adversidades na logística de transporte das motos para os maiores mercados consumidores, a milhares de quilômetros de distância, envolvendo balsas e caminhões, e em sentido inverso, no abastecimento de matérias primas, além da ausência de fornecedores de componentes e peças, obrigou a fábrica a produzir quase a moto inteira, tornando-se a mais “verticalizada” do mundo.

De lá para cá, a Honda CG foi constantemente aperfeiçoado, saltando de 125, para 160 cm³, equipada com freios a disco e injeção eletrônica, transformando-se no veículo mais vendido da história do Brasil, com cerca de 12 milhões de unidades.

With the update in 2017 the motor is the most powerful LC8 engine ever built by KTM. The KTM 1290 Super Duke R has a naked body. The 2014-2016 models suspension was considered to be too soft but the 2017 update has addressed this with stiffer springs. The 2016 model had compression ratio of 13.2:1 and 2017 model has increased compression ratio to 13.6:1. The 2017 model comes with Cruise control as standard and has upgraded electronics such as lean angle sensitive traction control, ride by wire, and optional track mode along with previous model's cornering ABS, quickshifter, riding modes etc. Due to its sheer power, it is prone to wheelie when anti-wheelie is off. For 2014 model, it had acceleration of 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.2 seconds, braking distance of 99.1 feet from 60-0 mph without ABS, and 138.5 feet from 60-0 mph with ABS. The 2014 model produces maximum of 150.7 hp at rear wheel and 92.4 lb-ft of torque. What’s New in Maisto’s 2019 lineup

New Kawasaki, BMW, Vespa models along with all new MotoGP series in 1:12 & 1:18

Maisto has recently published their 2019 catalog. I quickly browsed through it and extracted all motorcycle/scooter related Info. 

KAWASAKI Z900RS Twins:

Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe are two major additions in 1:12 scale. Both will be available in two color options. Z900RS - a retro street version will be available in Brown/Orange and Black whereas a cafe racer Z900RS Cafe will be in Grey and Green color options. Excited for these two :)

BMW R nine T SCRAMBLER

This model will be available in both 1:12 and 1:18 scale.

HUSQVARNA FE 501 (Assembly Kit)

Maisto introduced this model last year. This year, Assembly kit will be available for the same. 

HUSQVARNA VITPILEN 701 2018

This model will be available in 1:18.

YAMAHA MT-07 2017

This is another 1:18 model to look for. It will be interesting to see how much detailing Maisto can achieve in this model.

HARLEY DAVIDSON 1: MODELS

Maisto have huge collection of 1:18 HDs. There will be two new additions this year : CVO ROAD GLIDE & FORTY-EIGHT SPECIAL. Both will be 2018 editions.

VESPA PRIMAVERA 150 1:12

This will be first 1:12 Vespa that Maisto have created. But unfortunately, results doesn’t seem much promising. Model looks disproportionate.

VESPA PRIMAVERA 150 & GTS 300 1:18

2 new Vespa models in 1:18 lineup.

Along with these models, Maisto will present entire new 1:18 MotoGP range that will feature Ducati, Repsol Honda and Yamaha Factory Racing team bikes.
