Enchanted

Pairing - Atticus Cogar/OC

Warning - Fluff, mentions of deathmatch wrestling

Atticus Cogar was making his way towards the ring, the crowd roaring for him as “Heartbeats” by KING 810 echoed throughout the arena! Suddenly, those crowd roars turned to boos when Atticus was caught off guard and thrown to the ground by the vicious clothesline to the back followed up with some ground and pound! He tried to fight back, but Rickey was too much for him. Atticus was taking a beating, and he had no backup because Rickey had laid out the rest of the 44OH! before he came out here! Rickey was stomping, punching and throwing Atticus around the ringside area like a ragdoll, laughing and chuckling at the negative reaction he was getting from the crowd.

Atticus was able to slide into the ring to get away from the heinous attack of RSP but only for a few minutes. RSP threw up the ring apron skirt and went digging around before he pulled out a table, sliding it into the ring. Once he got the table into the ring, he started to set it up. Atticus took advantage of this moment and tried to hammer away on Rickey, the crowd firmly behind him, but Rickey with a cheap shot to knock Atticus down. Rickey was about to powerbomb Atticus through a table when suddenly, Rickey's little sister, Y/N, jumped over the barricade and into the ring! She chop blocked the back of Rickey’s knee, breaking his hold on Atticus! Atticus rolled away while Rickey bent down, holding onto his knee.

Y/N listened to the chants of the crowd, looking over at Atticus who was recovering in the corner before looking back at her big brother who looked shocked and betrayed once he saw who was the one to attack him. He went to say something but Y/N slapped him across the face before dropping him to the mat with a DDT! Rickey rolled out of the ring, holding onto his face while the crowd erupted into a mix of cheers and continued chants for Y/N! She rushed over to Atticus to check on him as we faded away to a commercial break. After the segment, backstage, Atticus was furious. Atticus turned to her, his eyes blazing with anger. "What were you thinking?" he snapped. "You had no business getting involved in that. You could have gotten hurt!"

Rickey's little sister stood her ground, undaunted by Atticus's anger. "I couldn't just stand there and watch you get hurt anymore," she said. "I had to do something!"

Atticus softened a bit, his rage turning to confusion. "But why?" he asked. "Why would you do something like that for me?"

Rickey's little sister took a deep breath, gathering her courage. "Because I care about you," she said. "I've cared about you since the day Rickey brought you in and started training you. I've watched you grow, and I've seen how hard you work. I couldn't just sit back and watch you get hurt."

For once in his life, Atticus was taken aback. He looked at her for a moment, studying her face. He saw determination and bravery in her eyes, and he felt a pang of something he couldn't quite identify. For a moment, they stood there in silence, both of them unsure of what to say next. But then Atticus made a decision. He stepped closer to Rickey's little sister.

Atticus's expression softened slightly, but he was still skeptical. "You barely know anything about me other than what you’ve seen," he said, his voice quieter now. "Why would you risk your own safety for someone you barely know?"

Rickey's little sister took a deep breath. "Because I see something in you that I've never seen in anyone else," she said, her eyes locked on his. "You have a fire in your heart that burns brighter than anyone I've ever met. I know that you're going to do great things in this business, and I want to be there to support you every step of the way."

Atticus was silent for a moment, the weight of her words sinking in. He looked at her, really looked at her for the first time. He saw the tears in her eyes, the fierce determination in her expression, and the hope in her heart but he couldn’t bring himself to let her get closer. He stepped back and shook his head before he looked into her once determined, now turned sad, eyes. “You’ll turn out just like the others, Y/N. You’ll stand there and claim you support me but then when I let my guard down and actually let you in, you’ll put a knife in my back. I want to trust you…but I can’t.”

Before Y/N could even have the chance to respond, Atticus simply turned away from her and walked away. Leaving Y/N standing there, tears streaming down her face before she sunk down to the floor, bringing her knees up to her face as she sobbed. Gregory Iron and Eddy Only rushed over, sitting down beside her to comfort her. Eddy held her in a hug while Gregory tried his best to make light of the situation.

Later that week, it was announced that at the next show, Atticus Cogar and Rickey Shane Page would finally step into the ring to “settle their differences” but as we all know, in wrestling, nothing is ever truly one and done. Y/N knew this match would solve nothing, she knew no matter the result of the match, these two weren’t going to be satisfied and she also had a feeling Rickey was going to have something up his sleeve. She tried to plead with the company to let her be involved but they said for her safety, it was best she stay out of it. But of course, she wasn’t going to do what they told her.

The next month, the stage is set for the long awaited, highly anticipated match between Atticus and RSP. After many table bumps, light tubes shattering, skewers being embedded into foreheads and much more violence, Atticus Cogar defeated Rickey Shane Page in a grueling match, but he was attacked by Rickey in a fit of rage! Atticus was exhausted and caught off guard by the attack, unable to defend himself. Rickey was about to deliver a final blow…but Y/N ran down to the ring! She climbed onto the apron then onto the top rope before she jumped off and leaped onto Rickey's back, wrapping her arms around his neck in an attempt to choke him! Rickey struggled to shake her off, but she held on tight, refusing to let go.

Atticus, still dazed from the attack, watched in awe as Rickey's little sister fought to protect him. He saw the determination in her eyes, the fire in her heart, and he knew at that moment that she truly did care about him, more than he ever realized. Rickey suddenly got down to a knee, losing consciousness from the choke before he stopped moving completely and passed out. Rickey lay there, defeated, while his little sister stood over him. Atticus slowly got up, Atticus looked at her, she looked at him, Rickey's little sister took a deep breath. "I need you to know that I'm not like the others in your life," she said, her voice steady and unwavering. "I love you, Atticus, and I'll never betray you."

Atticus looked at her, his heart pounding. He felt a warmth spreading through his chest, a feeling he had never experienced before. He saw the sincerity in her eyes, the depth of her love, and he knew that he felt the same way. He knew she was telling the truth. Without a word, he stepped forward and took her into his arms, holding her tight. And as they stood there, wrapped up in each other's embrace, he knew that he had found someone special, someone who would always be there for him, no matter what.

"I love you too," he whispered into her ear. "And I promise, I'll never let you down."

GenZ (Dyln Blaine, Eric Taylor, Mikey Montgomery) vs 44OH! (Lilith Brookes, Rickey Shane Page, Atticus Cogar)

The confidence evident on Dyln Blaine’s face when Lilith walked out here alone faded QUICKLY when that music switched over to the instantly recognizable, and frankly infamous MPW theme of Rickey Shane Page, and the day many thought would never come to pass is here. Lilith’s tag team partners tonight were none other than the men she ruled MPW along side in the early days of the company. Once upon a time, we’d NEVER thought in a million years we’d ever see Lilith, Rickey, and Atticus team up in MPW once again, but that day is upon us! Even if just for one more night, the 44OH! Ride one more time in MPW!

Decked out in the classic black and green tonight, and to a near standing ovation from this crowd, a smirk as wide as her ears from Lilith tells Dyln, Eric, and Mikey that they’re fucked here tonight. Chants of “FUCK O-HI-O!” ring out from the Don Quixote as the music dies down, but it’s clearly meant as an endearment from our crowd here. Apparently MPW has been around long enough at this point for nostalgia pops, and we’ve lived long enough to see our villains become our heroes. If GenZ thought they were the baddest boys in town, the OG bastards were here to teach them a lesson!

The bell rings, and Dyln tries to surprise Lilith by charging in and attacking her before she’s ready, only to eat a baseball bat to the gut, dropping Dyln to his knees! Mikey and Eric wince at seeing this, and before they realize what’s happening, Rickey grabs Eric and tosses him into the corner, before starting to hammer away at Eric with a couple of right hands, and Mikey is grabbed by Atticus and thrown out of the ring, Mikey’s body quickly meeting steel guardrail as Atticus follows him out of the ring. Atticus traps Mikey against the guardrail, and begins laying into him with chop after chop, before spinning around and throwing Mikey into a different area of the guardrail. Atticus shoves Mikey down into a chair at ringside, before Atticus climbs up onto the seat, and pushes Mikey’s head back, displaying Mikey for the crowd, before Atticus makes a show of reaching into his pocket, and pulling out a handful of bright green skewers, holding them up as the crowd cheers, before Atticus drives the skewers down into Mikey’s forehead, Atticus skwering Mikey!

Back in the ring, Rickey Shane Page shoots Eric Taylor off the ropes, before throwing Eric up into the air with a big back drop, catching Eric with a big kick to the back! Taylor clutches at his back as he cries out in agony, RSP dropping down into the cover!

1….2… Kickout!

Rickey gets back up and grabs Eric Taylor, dragging him back to his feet, as Rickey goes over and tags in Lilith, before Lilith joins Rickey in the ring, before Rickey spins and delivers a rolling elbow to Eric, stunning Eric as Lilith charges the ropes, and springs off them, before handspringing back and catching Eric with a BIG Ace Crusher! Lilith floats over into the cover!

1…2… Broken up!

Dyln Blaine slides into the ring and breaks the pin up, before catching Lilith with a boot right to the back of the head! Dyln then picks one of the chairs off the apron, and waits for Lilith to get up, before he drives the chair right into Lilith’s ribs! Lilith drops to her knees, clutching her ribs, groaning in agony. Dyln drives the chair into her ribs once again, as now Lilith is down on her hands and knees, the ache in her ribs intensifying, making it hard to breathe. Dyln then raises the chair up, and cracks it right over Lilith’s back! Lilith cries out in agony once again, before Dyln decides to ditch the chair, before slamming Lilith back into the steel guardrail, back first. Dyln then sets the chair up he’d just dropped, before running, leaping, using the chair as a spirngboard, and nailing Lilith with a flying kick right to Lilith’s face! Lilith drops to the floor, and might be unconscious after that one! Dyln takes her head off!

Dyln rolls Lilith back into the ring, going for the cover!

1….2… Kickout!

Lilith out at two again. Dyln pulls himself up to a knee and looks down at his former mentor, shaking his head, before picking her up, and popping Lilith with a forearm, knocking Lilith back into the corner. Dyln grabs a chair and sets it up in front of her, before taking a couple steps back, charing her, and launching himself with the chair… Dyln makes contact, but Lilith eats it and catches him anyways, taking a second to hold Dyln and recover from that hit, before spinning around, and driving Dyln through the chair with a Saito Suplex! The chair crumples under the impact of Blaine’s body! Lilith into the cover!

1…2… Kickout!

Lilith gets up and makes the tag to Atticus Cogar, and she tries to pull Dyln up by his hair, but he manages to shove her off, and scramble back to his corner, and get the tag in to Mikey. Mikey charges Atticus, but Atticus stops him and tries to roll Mikey up, which Mikey quickly kicks out from. Mikey Montgomery jumped off and pulled Atticus up with him, trying to catch him, but Cogar went up and over and rolled through into a sunset flip, but pushed Mikey Montgomery through on the pin attempt and quickly stood up, trapping Mikey Montgomery’s arms, already looking for a DDT, but Mikey Montgomery spun out of the double underhook, and tried to catch Atticus with a side kick, which Atticus ducked, and ran off the ropes, on the rebound coming back at Mikey Montgomery, catching and tossing him with a hurricanrana! Cogar rolls up to his front, and gets the tag to Lilith, who slides into the ring, sending Mikey off the ropes, and dropping him with a flying heel kick, before Atticus charges in and crashes down on Mikey with a running Shooting Star, before Dyln rolls out of the way, and Lilith charges and crashes down on Mikey with a Handspring legdrop, before hooking the leg and making the cover on Mikey.

1….2… Kickout!

Lilith picks Mikey back up and sends him off the ropes, but Eric manages to get the blind tag into Mikey. Mikey charges back at Lilith, and Lilith tries to lift him up, but Mikey slips out behind her, and hooks her arm, as Eric slides into the ring, and nails Lilith with a huge superkick! Lilith’s head snaps back, and Mikey passes her to Eric, as Eric lifts her up, and drops her with a Falcon Arrow! Eric Taylor with the cover on Lilith, trying to end it!

1….2.. Kickout!

Lilith out at two. Eric picks Lilith back up, and catches her with a chop to the chest, sending Lilith into the corner, before following it up with another chop, followed by a right hand, before Eric Taylor snapmares Lilith out of the corner, charges, and nails her with a low dropkick to the back of the head! Eric then drops down and traps Lilith into a headlock, trying to wear her down, before Eric legs go of the hold, grabs Lilith’s shoulders, and drives a knee into her back! Lilith grimaces in pain, as Eric tries to lock her back in the headlock, only for Lilith to escape and toss Eric with a hip toss of her own, before knocking down Eric Taylor with a dropkick. Lilith gets back to her feet, stalking Eric Taylor, as he starts to get back up to his feet. Eric gets up, only for Lilith to hook him, looking for a huge slam, but as she goes to lift Eric, Mikey pulls Eric out of harms way. Lilith charges and drops Mikey with a big Step Up Enziguri, but as she lands, she’s caught with a stiff right hand from Malibu ET! Lilith stumbles back a bit, only for Eric Taylor to grab her and drop her with a Northern Lights Suplex! Eric Taylor bridges for the cover!

1….2… Kickout!

Lilith manages to kick out, and Eric Taylor gets back to his feet, and stands over Lilith, bending over her to taunt her a bit… “Future… Too…Bright.”

Before Eric Taylor hits the ropes and drops the fist down on Lilith, his own version of the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Lilith gets up, stumbling on shaky legs, as Eric tags Mikey, before getting behind Lilith, as Mikey charges them, sending Mikey up and over as he catches Lilith with a modified cutter! Lilith’s head is driven into the mat as Mikey hooks the leg!

1….2.. Kickout!

Lilith out at two again! Dyln at this point is jumping up and down on the apron, waiting for the tag, reaching his hand out to Lilith. Lilith tries to get back to her feet, but Mikey stomps on her hand, causing pain to shoot up Lilith’s arm. Lilith gets up, trying to shake out her hand, as Mikey grabs her, and sends her off the ropes, rolling forward, and taking Lilith out with a rolling Coppu Kick! Lilith is knocked to the mat, and Mikey goes and tags Eric again. Eric gets in the ring, grabbing Lilith by the hair, and lifting her up, sending her into the corner. Eric then grabs Mikey, and whips him into the corner, as Mikey leaps up and nails Lilith with a leaping clothesline, before throwing Lilith to the mat. Eric lines her up, looking for his Springboard Curbstomp, but Lilith rolls out of the way, catches Eric, and drives him down with a HUGE German Suplex! Eric practically lands right on his head, as Lilith rolls forward, and gets the tag to Rickey Shane Page!

RSP gets into the ring like a house of fire, dropping Eric Taylor with a back elbow, before ducking a charging Mikey Montgomery, evading a forearm, before jumping up and catching Mikey with a huge enziguri! Mikey gets dropped and rolls out of the ring, and Eric Taylor charges back at RSP, only to get goozled, lifted into the air, and ropped with a BIG Chokebreaker!

RSP kicks Eric out of the ring, and tags in Lilith, but as he goes for the tag, Dyln dropkicks RSP from behind, knocking him and Lilith into each other! Miscommunication between the two leaves Lilith on shaky legs, and Dyln drops her with a Cyclone Kick!

With Lilith incapacitated, Dyln climbs out to the apron and measures, looking for a Rocket Strap to put this one to bed… only for, when Dyln jumps up, someone grabs his foot! Dyln turns around to see who it was, and Ethan Page snuck up behind him! Page, the man who made it clear last week he wanted to get his hands on Dyln, is here to fuck with Dyln’s chances of winning this match!

Dyln kicks Ethan away, and goes for the Rocket Strap again, but Lilith was ready for him this time, and catches Dyln on her shoulders, before nailing him with a HUGE Killing Spree! Dyln’s head snaps back as he drops, and Lilith tags in RSP as he climbs up to the top rope! Atticus takes out Eric and Mikey with a suicide dive, as RSP sets his feet, and CRUSHES Dyln with a massive Swanton Bomb! Rickey makes the cover!

1….2….3!

The 44OH! Are victorious on their one night only return!
