[Download] More Than Able ft. Chandler Moore & Tiffany Hudson - Elevation Worship
Tumblr media
GRAMMY Award-winning group Elevation Worship releases a new single today, “More Than Able,” featuring Chandler Moore and Tiffany Hudson. “More Than Able,” led by Chandler Moore and Tiffany Hudson, was penned by Moore along with Steven Furtick, Ben Fielding, and Naomi Raine. The powerful anthem sings, “When did I start to forget all of the great things You did / When did I throw away faith for the impossible? How did I start to believe You weren’t sufficient for me / Why do I talk myself out of seeing miracles? You are more than able / Who am I to deny what the Lord can do?”
Tumblr media
“I don’t know what it is about age, but it can talk you out of a lot of things,” Elevation Worship’s Chris Brown shares. “Growing older can have you start playing it safe, getting comfortable enough with your life that you begin to operate in your own strength, or maybe even cause you to no longer believe God for greater things because you stopped remembering all that He’s done for you, or you’ve quit paying attention to how He’s in the rhythms of life with you.” Brown continues, “But the truth is, God is still writing your story, so don’t give up believing Him for more. You don’t have to have it all figured out, you don’t have to know how it’s gonna turn out, just trust that God is in the details of your life working all things together for your good.” The anticipated release of “More Than Able” follows their latest single, the No. 1 commanding worship hit “Same God,” featured on their GRAMMY-nominated album LION. Their 14th career project was recognized in the “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album” category, which they won the previous year for Old Church Basement, their live collaboration album with Maverick City Music. Beginning next month, the group will begin their “Elevation Nights” spring tour with Pastor Steven Furtick. Hitting major markets such as Austin, Oklahoma City, Minneapolis, Denver, and Toronto, they have also added more dates to their “Elevation Nights” fall tour. Anne Wilson Scores First GRAMMY Nomination For Contemporary Christian Album With ‘My Jesus’
Tumblr media
Capitol Christian Music Group artist and songwriter Anne Wilson is nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards for her debut album My Jesus. The GRAMMY Awards will air live Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles – broadcasting live on the CBS Television Network and streaming live and on demand on Paramount +. The nomination marks Wilson’s first recognition by the Recording Academy, after a monumental year for the new artist. “I’m truly blown away that I’ve been nominated for a GRAMMY,” shares Wilson. “Words fail to describe my gratitude for all God has done and is doing through my life. I can’t help but wonder if my brother in Heaven is getting to see all of this. This is surreal and I’m beyond thankful. All glory and honor to the name above ALL names, Jesus.” After first discovering her voice while singing at her brother’s funeral in 2017, Wilson’s debut chartbreaker “My Jesus” served as her warm introduction to fans in early 2021. Co-written by Wilson alongside Jeff Pardo and Matthew West, the “deeply personal breakout ballad” (Billboard) catapulted Wilson to mainstream success – making her the first female soloist to top Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart with a debut single since the chart’s launch in 2003. The RIAA Gold Certified single helped Wilson secure a nomination for Favorite Inspirational Artist at the upcoming American Music Awards airing live from Microsoft Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC. The follow up to her introductory track was her now GRAMMY nominated 15-song debut album, My Jesus, which wasreleased on April 22, 2022, amassing 400M streams. As the biggest debut album by a CCMG artist in over 15 years, the “soul-touching record” (CMT) reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian & Gospel Albums and the Top 200 Christian and Gospel charts. Project highlights include “Sunday Sermons,” “Something About That Name” and “Mamas (with Hillary Scott),” garnering critical acclaim from the industry and media alike. Wilson’s first GRAMMY nomination comes on the heels of the 53rd annual GMA Dove Awards, where she took home two awards for New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for her breakthrough single “My Jesus.” 2022 also saw wins for Wilson at the K-LOVE Fan Awards for Female Artist of the Year and Breakout Single, once again for “My Jesus.” Earlier this month, Wilson surprised fans with her six-track Christmas project, featuring title-track “The Manger (with Josh Turner).” Furthering her year of record-breaking firsts, the artist with “unmistakable strength and unique country flair” (American Songwriter) released her first book My Jesus: From Heartache to Hope from Thomas Nelson on Oct. 25. Drawing from her personal experiences of tragedy and loss, Wilson shares her detailed path to healing in this book that she hopes will help those going through similar experiences. You can catch Wilson live on tour opening as direct support for Casting Crowns this fall, and Phil Wickam later this year. Tumblr media
Nashville, TN – The 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards were handed out Tuesday night, October 18th, 2022, at the Allen Arena in Nashville, Tennessee to a sold-out audience. The show aired Friday, October 21st, exclusively on TBN and was simulcast on SiriusXM The Message. Co-hosts Erica Campbell and Chris Tomlin led the all-star night of music with performances from across the music community including Gospel, Latin, Hip Hop, and Southern Gospel.  Iconic artist CeCe Winans made Dove Awards history this year as the first Black female solo artist to win Artist of the Year. When accepting her award, instead of an acceptance speech, she sang a few lines from the Andrae Crouch classic, “To God Be the Glory,” moving many in the audience to tears. She and co-writers for “Believe for It” were also awarded Song of the Year. Throughout her incredible career, CeCe has won a staggering 25 Dove Awards including the very first New Artist of the Year award in 1988 with her brother BeBe Winans. “It’s amazing when we come together and we love each other and we stand for righteousness, it’s amazing what God will do,” Winans said after accepting the award for Song of the Year. “It’s amazing what He’s already done. But He wants to do so much more. I’m believing for God to move in this industry greater than He ever has before. The God we serve responds to faithfulness and the testimonies I’ve heard through this song have blessed my life.” Choirmaster Ricky Dillard won his first-ever Dove award in the category of Traditional Gospel Album of the Year for his twelfth album,  Breakthrough: The Exodus (Live).  Young gospel queen Jekalyn Carr picked up the third Dove award of her career. This time, she won Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for her No. 1 hit, “My Portion.” For KING + COUNTRY, writer/producer Jeff Pardo, and Phil Wickham led the night with three awards each with Wickham winning Songwriter of the Year – Artist and Worship Album of the Year, Pardo winning Producer of the Year and For KING + COUNTRY winning Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. Twenty-year old newcomer Anne Wilson took home two awards including New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year for “My Jesus.” The latter was recently certified gold by the R.I.A.A. The night was packed with one-of-a-kind performances such as Steven Curtis Chapman’s career-spanning mash-up of his hits such as “The Great Adventure” and “Dive.” Phil Wickham and his electrifying band performed his current Top Ten single, “Hymn of Heaven.”  TobyMac thanked followers for their prayers and support following his son Truett’s unexpected death in 2020 before launching into a spirited  performance of “The Goodness” with Nigerian-born singer Blessing Offor. “Thank you for the kindness you showed me and my family as we walked through the deepest valley in losing my firstborn son,” he said. “…There were times I never thought I would ever write another song, much less an up-tempo song or a song that felt like joy. But God is good. He might not always give us what we want, or take away the pain, but He is right here with us. He doesn’t leave. He remains.” Here are a few of the other winners.  For a full list of winners: https://doveawards.com/awards/2022-winners/ Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year: KB, nobigdyl – King Jesus Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year: Tasha Cobbs Leonard – Gotta Believe Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year: Maverick City Music ft. Tumblr media
Chart-topper DOE continues to make a splash in sharing the gift of God’s love in her music, performing live at this year’s GMA Dove Awards and being honored with two wins during the night. DOE rocked the stage with the sold-out crowd on their feet, as she delivered a special arrangement of her #1 hit song “When I Pray” leading into “What I’m Waiting For,” from her eleven-track album CLARITY. Going into the Dove Awards with four nominations including New Artist of the Year, DOE won the Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year Dove Award for CLARITY, her debut full-length album released in early 2022 by Jonathan McReynolds’ Life Room Label in partnership with RCA Inspiration. Separately, she garnered another win as a featured artist/co-writer for the Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year, “Breathe,” released by Maverick City Music (feat. Chandler Moore, Jonathan McReynolds, DOE).  The 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards, which celebrates all genres of Christian and Gospel music and entertainment from Pop/Contemporary, Rock, Worship, Contemporary Gospel, Traditional Gospel, to Inspirational Film, Rap/Hip Hop, Spanish Language, Southern Gospel and more, just aired on TBN on Friday, October 21st. In a packed Dove Awards celebration week in Nashville, DOE also co-hosted the GMA Dove Awards Pre-Telecast with Katy Nichole, which revealed the winners in many of the categories, including her album win for CLARITY, performed at GMA’s New Artist of the Year Showcase on Monday, October 17th (which featured performances from all New Artist of the Year nominees), and was honored at the Urban Soul Cafe Pre-Dove Party with a Breakthrough Artist award.      Fresh off her Dove Awards wins, DOE has released a new recording with a Spanish version of “When I Pray (Mi Oración)” feat. Blanca. Available now, DOE teamed up with fellow chart-topper Blanca for a beautiful blend of their voices, showing the power of God and prayer is for everyone with no barriers, on the new track sung entirely in Spanish. DOE is next up as a Favorite Gospel Artist nominee at the American Music Awards, airing November 20th, with voting open to the public daily at VoteAMAs.com through November 14th.   Check out DOE’s new Spanish track “When I Pray (Mi Oración)” feat.
