a road trip on Route 66 worth it?
It takes some planning to get to see all the countless little things along the Route but that planning is worth it. While it might be hard to guess how much time you need from day to day, I'd say 14 days if you're on the faster end with lots of driving as well.

As you will see here, August and September are the cheapest months to go. The Disney World one because August is incredibly hot. In florida hundred degrees hundred percent humidity, but september all the kids go back to school... So because kids are returning the school, disney is slow. Then, after christmas in january is the cheapest as well.... So make a road trip down the Florida. Stop at all the sights and then, when you get the floor dug, go to disney and then check out singer island...

At this point, we all know that Oppo and OnePlus have pretty heavy ties, and that means they inevitably release similar if not identical hardware annually. With the Oppo Find X3 Pro, this fact mostly remains correct. However, the refinements and the sheer luxury of owning this phone arguably make it the better device, even if it isn't available everywhere.
Design: Taking Inspiration
When it comes to design Oppo took inspiration from many smartphones; most notably, the iPhone 12 Pro comes to mind when looking at the eerily similar camera setup. That said, I think they took the liberty of polishing (literally) these design queues and making something that's unique and quite beautiful.
Let's start with the back because a lot is going on here. You can pick this device in either Gloss Black or (matte) Blue. The Blue color variant of this phone is almost one-for-one, the same color as the iPhone 12 Pro's Pacific Blue variant, but if I had to choose, I would opt for that color over the gloss black for one bothersome reason: the smudges.
When the Gloss Black is clean, it is stunning to see this device. It's a beautiful mirror finish, but as soon as you take this phone out of the box, you will undoubtedly pick up fingerprints, dust particles, and smudges. It's nearly impossible to keep this color clean if you plan on carrying this phone around naked. I highly recommend you put on the included silicone case to protect your device from looking dirty all the time.
The camera system feels elegant; I would go as far as to say that it looks and feels better than the iPhone 12 Pro that Oppo is copying. If you held the Oppo Find X3 Pro next to the iPhone 12 Pro series, there is no denying they copied Apple; it honestly looks like a mirrored image of the iPhone's camera system, but Oppo added many things to make it stand out.
For one, there is this seamless bump where the cameras sit; it's hard to describe, but essentially the rear panel is made of one sheet of glass, and this is apparent when you run your finger over the cameras. There is a seamless transition that makes this phone feel super chic, and it's one of the most captivating design elements of this phone. Oppo calls this a Gradient Arc Camera, and in a more practical sense, it should make taking your phone out of your pocket easier.
On the right side of the phone, you'll find your power button, which has this green accent, and on the left, you'll see your two volume controls. The buttons are clicky and tactile, and they are positioned well relative to the phone's size.
On the bottom, you'll find your speaker, USB-C charging port, and SIM cardholder. On the top, there is simply a microphone hole on the right side.
The entire phone is made from Gorilla Glass 5 and has an aluminum frame. Since the screen is curved, there is a seamless transition between the aluminum sides and the two glass sheets on the front and back; this phone feels great to hold. The device is also super light for its size, coming in at 193g (6.81oz).
Onto the front, you'll find the 6.7-inch curved display along with the off-centered camera hole punch on the top left corner. The bezels are relatively thin and uniform all around the screen.
Overall, Oppo did an incredible job with the fit and finish of the Find X3 Pro. The Find X3 Pro is a great device to recommend to people who want to carry a big screen but don't want a heavy phone.
Display: One of the Best
One of the main selling points of the Oppo Find X3 Pro is the screen, and it's one of the best panels on the market. Undoubtedly the Find X3 Pro shares the same Samsung panel as its OnePlus 9 Pro brother, but Oppo has added one differentiator to make its screen better than the rest.
Oppo's using its own Color Management System, which is capable of supporting the entire DCI-P3 wide gamut and 10-bit color depth, and what that boils down to is this panel can display more colors compared to any other device on the market. This display can produce 1.07 billion colors, where most flagships display about 16.7 million.
On paper, this sounds impressive, and 10-bit is technically better than the typical 8-bit displays most people are used to; the only issue is most people don't have 10-bit content to consume. The Find X3 Pro can capture 10-bit photos and videos, but in practice, you're going to see a marginal improvement, and right now, 10-bit content is a niche.
When it comes to other aspects of the display, Oppo has done a tremendous job here. For one, this screen is a QHD panel and has a maximum resolution of 1440 by 3216. The screen supports a variable refresh rate of 5Hz-120Hz, which is great for battery life when you're doing less intense tasks on your device, such as reading or using the always-on display.
The device also supports a True Tone-equivalent setting, which can adjust the temperature and brightness of your display with up to 8192 levels to match your environment. This feature is effective in reducing eye strain during both the day and night. I recommend you turn this feature off if you use your device to edit photos and videos.
The Find X3 Pro has an off-centered hole-punch camera just like the OnePlus 9 Pro, and for the most part, it blends in quite well when there is content on the screen.
The only part of this display I would find a tad bit annoying would be the curved edges. In pictures, the curved edges are beautiful, and Oppo has implemented many software features like edge-lighting to make use of the curve. While this aspect of the phone is purely just for design aesthetics, it would have been nice to see Oppo opt for a less curved panel like the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The S21 Ultra still has a curve to its display panel, it's just much less prominent like the Find X3 Pro, and it helps reduce accidental touches and the general slipperiness of the phone.
Overall, there is very little to complain about the display on this Find X3 Pro; it's quite simply one of the best displays out on the market right now. If you're looking to get a device that has a very adaptive and customizable display, the Oppo Find X3 Pro does not disappoint.
Camera System: The Ultrawide Finally Lives Up to the Main Camera
The Oppo Find X3 Pro's camera system has to be one of the most insane and unique assortments of cameras put on a smartphone, and I'd say 90% of the features in this camera experience are worth keeping around.
Let's start with the regular wide and ultrawide cameras first. The device sports Sony's 50-megapixel IMX 766 sensors, and this is in line with what is found on the OnePlus 9 Pro's wide and ultrawide, but I'd argue Oppo has done a better job here with its camera software.
The best way to describe the images coming out of these cameras would be to say they're very true-to-life in terms of color accuracy; the device does a great job creating natural colors and having excellent dynamic range. The main concern I have with the camera would be its handling of skin tones under harsh conditions. I have noticed that when it comes to skin tones, it can be a hit and miss; the camera can make skin look unnatural and unflattering at times, but under the right conditions, the colors look fine. The images taken were captured with AI-enhancer turned off.

My favorite aspect of this camera has to be the ultrawide camera. It's so much fun to use an ultrawide that matches the main camera in every aspect, and this makes its focal length much more enjoyable to use in more rigid situations like at night. The ultrawide produces identical results in terms of image quality as the main wide-angle camera, and it means you're going to be getting better sharpness, HDR, and color recreation with this focal length. The Find X3 Pro truly has the best ultrawide on any smartphone at the moment.

Moving onto the 12MP, 2x optical telephoto camera, it's noticeably much less impressive than other devices. The telephoto on the Find X3 Pro produces similar results to its 50MP sensors, but it lacks the same quality and sharpness as the wide-angle and ultrawide. While this camera isn't bad by any means, it feels like an afterthought compared to the other cameras found on this device.

The 32MP front-facing selfie camera is average for what it is; it's a little disappointing that a camera with its megapixel count only supports 1080p video recording, whereas, on devices like the iPhone 12 series, you're able to capture 4K video up to 60 frames per second.
The most unique camera of this entire camera system has to be the 30x microscopic camera. The 3MP microscopic camera on the Find X3 Pro is a gimmick, and I don't see any practical uses for it, but I can't seem to complain about it because of its novelty. The camera itself has a ring light around it, allowing for better quality lighting when you're using it, and I would say that you can capture decent images with it despite its low megapixel count.

I was able to capture images of the pixels on my other phone, a closeup of the petals of flowers, and even the individual fibers on my microfiber cloth. This camera, though a gimmick, is the most fun I'd had with such a niche and novel feature. While I don't think Oppo should spend more money on improving this camera, I would love to see companies adding features like this to their devices that extend beyond just software. Oppo did a tremendous job making this camera usable, and it's a great conversation starter.
Overall, Oppo did a great job with the camera experience here.
Performance and Battery Life
There's nothing to complain about here; the Oppo Find X3 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The device is very responsive, and I experienced no hiccups while using it. The device is more than capable of playing graphic-intensive games, storing large photo and video files, and doing so without breaking a sweat.
When it comes to software, ColorOS is quite good with all of its customizability and convenience features. For people who are used to more simplified experiences like OxygenOS or iOS, Oppo's skin on top of Android can seem daunting and takes some getting used to.
Something that was a pleasant surprise was the haptic motor on the device. Apple's Haptic Engine on its iPhones is by far the best because of how precise and tight the haptics feel, but the haptic motor on the Oppo Find X3 Pro is almost up there with the iPhone's, delivering satisfying haptics. Compared to my Galaxy S21, it's tighter and more precise.
When it comes to battery life, I would say the Oppo Find X3 Pro is on par with the large phones released this year. The Oppo Find X3 Pro has a 4500 mAh battery, and during my testing, the device provided 7-8 hours of screen on time during regular usage. On days with heavier usage, you can expect to get just under 7 hours. This is with maximum brightness, maximum screen resolution, and 120Hz enabled.
When it comes time to charge, the Oppo Find X3 Pro supports 65W fast wired charging, and Oppo generously includes a charger in the box to let you achieve those speeds. You can reach 40% charge in about 10 minutes, which is incredibly convenient when you forget to charge your device overnight. The device also supports 30W wireless charging, but that requires Oppo's proprietary wireless charger to achieve those speeds.
Should You Buy the Oppo Find X3 Pro?
Overall, this is one beastly phone with a very sleek and understated design, and I don't think anyone picking it up would be disappointed in its feature-set. You're getting one of the best screens, battery life, performance, and camera capabilities on any smartphone on the market right now. This device is an excellent option if you want a phone that has every possible feature you would want on your device.

This is a complete step-by-step guide, by following each step carefully this you can easily install substratum themes on Android 10/Q, and also set up the theme in the device.
Make sure your device is rooted and running on Android 10/Q.
Go to Google PlayStore, and install any of the themes of your choice. (In this article, we are using Pitch Black theme)
Download and Install the Substratum from the Google Play Store.
Open the Substratum app from the app drawer.
It will ask you for Superuser permission, grant the permission.
If it doesn't ask superuser permission or somehow you unable to grant the permission
So, open the Magisk Manager.
Tap on hamburger menu from the top-left corner and go to Superuser.
Enable the toggle on in front of Substratum (if it was disabled).

Clear all the recent apps, from the background.
Again, Open Substratum, A welcome screen will be displayed (skip it if you want)
Allow all the required permission.

Enable the Toggle just beside the arrow, it will select all the app.

But, a lot of users, including me, wait for the official Lineage OS Android 10. The reason for that is, Lineage OS is smooth and gives us a complete bug-free experience. Lineage OS is as stable like a stock ROM considering the fact that this ROM airs with a very less and minimal amount of features. That makes this ROM very usable and stable to an end-user. So, in this post, let us discuss everything about the Lineage OS and Download Lineage OS 17 on your Android device.

What is Lineage OS?
Lineage OS is a free and open-source operating system which is made available for Android devices and tablets. Lineage OS is also available for few computers and also merely found for few set-top boxes and stuff. Lineage OS is an aftermarket operating system which is based on the Android Linux distribution. As we all know Android OS itself is based on Linux. Lineage OS is, to be honest, a replacement or successor for world-famous aftermarket operating system – Cyanogen Mod. Lineage OS replaced the Cyanogen after the original company i.e., Cyanogen INC. announced that they are discontinuing the development. Since the project still retains the name Cyanogen Mod, the developers are left with no choice instead of changing the name to Lineage OS.
Lineage OS was officially launched on December 24th, 2016 along with the source code available on GitHub. In the beginning, Lineage used to publish their custom ROMs with the original Cyanogen Mod logo and stuff, but sooner or later after gaining mass popularity, they made their own logo and started publishing the ROMs with their own logo. As I have been using the Cyanogen Mod from the very beginning of the development, I still would prefer the original Cyanogen Mod over the likes of Lineage OS. Lineage OS is almost all good as Cyanogen Mod, but in my opinion, it lacks a few important features which do make a lot of sense.
Cyanogen Mod, which is often referred to as CM is used by many top-tier OEMs like Lenovo and OnePlus. Yes, Cyanogen Mod is the default operating system on many Android Phones. The famous devices shipped with Cyanogen Mod out of the box are OnePlus One and Lenovo ZUK Z1. Both the devices did receive a few updates after the official launch but the operating system was discontinued within the time. Cyanogen Mod is everyone’s favorite because it used to come with the original inbuilt theme engine with over a ten thousand themes available in the Play Store. But the makers of Lineage OS insisted to be quiet and did not respond properly. Yes, you can apply themes in Lineage OS using Substratum. Substratum is good enough with plenty of themes available. But most of the times, most of the heavy themes do not apply properly. Substratum certainly makes your System UI stop working at times. So this is all about the Lineage OS.
Lineage OS versions
So as mentioned earlier, Lineage OS is available from the beginning weeks of January 2017 with the version Lineage OS 13.0. All the previous versions including version 11, version 12 and 12.1 are maintained and developed by Cyanogen itself, but after discontinuing, Lineage entered the show with the version 13 based on Android 6 Marshmallow.

Lineage OS 17 Features
As Lineage OS 17 is based on Android 10 and going through the history, Lineage OS very rarely or almost never adds an excessive amount of features compared to the original Android. As mentioned earlier, Lineage OS would be as stock as possible with a minimal amount of features. So, as far as the features are considered, you will be able to see a very minimum feature with stock applications replaced with Lineage OS applications. The major Lineage OS 17 features include
A full-fledged system-wide dark mode. This should be one of the biggest change in the change logs of Lineage OS 17.
Smart Reply to all the messaging applications. This feature was introduced with certain stock messaging applications a while ago and now it’s something like a universal thing here. This means this feature can be worked with all the Android third-party messaging applications. For instance, let us consider that you have received a WhatsApp message, the smart reply feature automatically detects the message and display a few replies according to the message received.
A revamped sharing menu. This feature was introduced with Android 10 officially and this feature will certainly be available with Lineage OS 17.
Quicker access to the settings is one of the features that will make its way to the Lineage OS this time around.
WiFi sharing via QR codes. This might be the new feature on Lineage OS 17 but this feature is made available with MIUI 10 for all the MIUI running devices.
Different gestures for different actions. As Android 10 comes with a novel gestures for navigation, there are different parts of UI, menus for example which can be opened by sliding crossly.
Security updates via Google Play store.
Wet, cold and heat in USB warnings. This was recently introduced in Android. As Lineage OS 17 is based on the latest Android 10, this feature will definitely take place in the custom ROM.
So the above listed are the new features which are making way into the latest Android 10 based Lineage OS. We don’t know how many of the above-mentioned features will be available in the initial Lineage OS 17 builds, but with the updates, Lineage team will add all the above-mentioned features to the core.

10 Tried and True SEO Tactics That Will Pull You out of a Traffic Slump
We’ve all faced disappointing traffic numbers and even heart-stopping dives.
It happened to me recently on this website. Two years ago, I was blogging along as usual, when wham, my traffic dropped!
As it turns out, it was a random algorithm update that killed things for a week or two. Several tweaks later, I was back up to even higher numbers than before.
I understand that algorithms can change, audiences can leave, and a website can suffer from penalties.
But I’m also convinced that there’s no reason to settle for low traffic.
How can I be so confident? Because I faced it. I dealt with it. I recovered.
I’ve come up with 10 SEO tactics proven to boost traffic.
If you’re feeling skeptical right about now, I understand. I am sure plenty of SEO snake oil salesmen have tried to convince you that [insert some random weird hack here] could boost your SEO.
I don’t give advice that doesn’t work or hasn’t worked for me and my clients. These tactics actually work.
And here’s a quick comment before you dive into the tactics. I’ve intentionally avoided all the obvious stuff because you’d already have already tried that.
These techniques are relatively advanced. However, with the right skillset and a bit of patience, I know that you can master each technique and enjoy the boost in traffic.
1. Infiltrate Google’s Knowledge Graph and the global knowledge base
Wait, what the heck is Wikidata?
Wikidata is a community-driven initiative that belongs to the Wikimedia organization. They own a bunch of Wiki sites serving information content in a variety of languages.
It’s easy to see that once you get into Wikidata, either as a company or as a reference, your business will benefit in terms of exposure and traffic. Plus, a link from any of the Wiki sites is worth its weight in gold.
Many organizations pull data from the Wiki sites. The most important of them all is Google.
The content that gets featured in the Google Knowledge Graph is from Wikidata.
Do you see now why it’s important?
Getting inside Wikidata seems easy on paper, but it isn’t. Here’s how you can get a free pass:
Here’s an example:
Let’s say you sell products related to the fashion industry, specifically industrial sewing machines. One of your top sellers is the Brother brand.
Here’s what you should do:
Your page must be strong and backed by data. Fluffy or thin pages are deleted by the editors.
You can even add social media URLs to the reference pages. It would be a good idea to create a group discussion on LinkedIn related to the topic, and link it as a reference on your Wiki page.
In addition to this, you must go to each Wiki site and edit or contribute to topics that contain your keyword. Don’t forget to write an authoritative piece on your subdomain or website and link to it as a reference. For the example above, the keywords would be fashion, sewing, clothing, models, etc.
2. Get into Google News
News articles get pulled by Google on two SERPs—the traditional SERP you’re used to and the News section.
You may not have thought of Google News as a traffic source, but consider my point. It’s a traffic wellspring!

To get into Google news requires perseverance, honest reporting, cutting-edge articles, and regular updates.

Yeah, it reads like a slow process, but it’s worth millions!
3. Register with Google Posts
Let me rephrase.
Have you ever seen a carousel on Google SERPs? Something like the image below. Notice the section outlined in red:
The posts contained in such carousels are Google Posts.
Google Posts isn’t commercially launched yet. There’s a waitlist, and you must get on the waitlist.
Google Posts allows verified and prominent individuals and organizations to create content (text, images, videos) on the fly and publish instantly. Once the posts are published, they will be visible on Google SERPs when a user searches for topics and keywords within that niche.
The hassle, of course, is that you can’t start using Google Posts immediately. If you are an established organization or a prominent individual, you should sign up and reap the benefits when it goes live.
4. Use Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) HTML/JS
AMP is a new coding standard, and the way it is shaping up, it seems that it will go on to become a global HTML coding best practice.
Think of AMP HTML as regular HTML with some restrictions that reduce clunkiness and help generate reliability.
AMP HTML (and JS) increases the loading speed of your web pages, which is an extremely important factor. This protocol is on its way to become a huge ranking factor.
Google has already included it in its Search Console, and many web developers around the world are quickly adopting it.
Remember the time when Google made mobile-friendly design a ranking factor?
Developers were slow to pick up on it, and when their site rankings dropped, there was panic.
That’s why I encourage you to get started on AMP right away and to keep your site AMP-ready. Moreover, AMP will make your pages load faster, which will help you rank higher and attract more traffic.
5. Use the Skyscraper Technique
Did you know it was Brian Dean of Backlinko who coined the term Skyscraper Technique?
Although it’s simple when you think of it, it requires some pretty intense work.
Does it work? Yes, it does. Sites with traditionally low traffic or in traffic slumps have experienced an uptick in traffic after using the technique.
Here’s how you should exploit it:
First, simply research the top-shared content in your niche. You can use BuzzSumo or EpicBeat.
Next, you should:

6. Create an FAQ page in your niche
There are three things you must be aware of:
One of the key takeaways from the Google I/O developer conference notes was that over 20% of the searches on the Google app on Android in the US were performed by voice.
I don’t have the stats for Siri, but if you put two and two together, it’s easy to infer that your SEO must be ready for voice search/voice assistants because its use will keep increasing over time.
How will you get your website ready for voice search?
By developing an FAQ page in your niche.
An FAQ page can easily leverage both the question word and the keyword/correlated keywords.
How will you collect data for your FAQ page? Here are some ideas:
Finally, take all this research and create a giant FAQ page that is neatly divided into categories.
Make each question shareable, and write detailed and helpful answers. Do this, and you’ll quickly get some traffic to your site.
7. Become an expert in your niche
Sounds like a tall order, right?
But it’s not as difficult as you think.
You can increase your website’s traffic by growing your personal brand. I spent about a decade cultivating my personal brand. I then used that personal brand to boost traffic and generate high-converting leads, creating several multi-million dollar businesses.
You can do the same. Here is how.
Start sharing your knowledge tactfully and helping others without giving away your business secrets.
First, register at Q&A sites such as Quora, Yahoo Answers, and WikiHow. Join LinkedIn groups, and reach out to other sites in your niche that could benefit from your guest authorship or input.
Start answering questions and helping users. Do not promote your business or link to your website.
If your answers are helpful, users will start requesting your help. When you see help requests coming in, it’s time to strike (in a good way, of course).
From this point on, help people, but link back to your article or site when you do so.
Followers and browsers will follow your link, and your site traffic will multiply like crazy.
Yahoo Answers, LinkedIn, and Quora are liberal with links, but WikiHow has a tough backlinking policy, so be careful. Whatever you do, be polite, and write factual helpful information.
8. Don’t spread yourself too thin
Many website owners do all the right things and still wonder why their traffic volume is static (or decreasing).
The answer could be that you may be doing too many of the right things.
There are tons of SEO and content marketing tips available on the web, and while reading as much as possible is a good thing, trying to do everything may prove to be counterproductive.
Content marketing is performed on social media and blogs, which are user-driven. Viewers expect the writer or poster to interact with them and follow up on their articles.
If you’re into excessive content marketing, you won’t have time to interact. You’ll also feel burnt out doing too many things at the same time.
My advice is to stick to three or four social media channels (Facebook and YouTube are important). Once your traffic and sales increase, you can consider hiring someone to handle other social channels.
9. Influencing the influencers
You may have heard that influencer marketing is dead, but I can guarantee you that if any influencer links to your post, a swarm of traffic will follow.
Now, you cannot overtly approach an influencer and request that person to promote your content. Why? Because the minute the influencer reads your first line, they’ll understand what you want. Honestly, it’s a turnoff.
Influencers receive hundreds of content promotion requests every month. They can spot one from a distance.
Here’s what you can do instead. Influence and motivate the influencer to share your content.
I’ll show you how you can attempt that with an example.
Let’s say I am targeting “men’s fashion” as my keyword phrase. I Googled “top blogs on men’s fashion.” There are plenty of meaty results:
I visited one top blog, Off The Cuff, and found it was founded and owned by Christopher Hogan.
Next, I visited Christopher Hogan’s Twitter page. It looks like he tweets often, and some of his tweets are about formal fashion in different seasons (he has 3,300 followers. It’s a bit low, but there’s a twist in the tale).
That gave me an idea—a content strategy that can be endorsed by many influencers (with a gazillion followers).
Here’s what I’d do next:
What I have given you is just an example. And it’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the potential of this technique.
Use your creativity to devise even more advanced and informative content within your niche.
You can use other tools, such as Followerwonk or Buzzsumo, to find influencers and apply the same technique.
10. Research e-commerce keywords
There are so many articles floating around on keyword research that I wasn’t sure whether I should include this tip.
I decided to include it.
E-commerce is a serious business. If you know what customers are exactly searching for, it could be rock-and-roll time for your sales and traffic.
Shoppers who have finished their research typically head to retail sites such as Amazon to buy stuff. As I’m sure you’re aware, Amazon is the world’s largest e-tailer.
Researching keywords on Amazon and including them in your content can be a rewarding SEO task.
To research keywords on Amazon, you need to subscribe to a paid keyword research service.
But I’ll show you how to research for free. Here’s the technique:
First, choose your product on Amazon.com (it’s “men’s fashion” in this example):
Next, select “men’s fashion” in “All Departments.”
Then, now check the results page. Notice the filters and categories in the column on the far left.
Finally, expand each category, and copy the keywords that drop down.
These are the keywords that real shoppers with ready-to-swipe credit cards search for (on Amazon). Use these very keywords in your content.
If your traffic has dropped because of slow loading pages, lousy server, clunky coding, malware, unfriendly UI, etc., no amount of SEO, SMM, or PPC can help you. Plus, you’ll end up wasting a ton of money.
Fix the basic issues first, and then move on to marketing and SEO.
The tactics I have recommended will help you attract traffic that has the potential to convert.

Realme doesn’t like to waste time in introducing new phones. As a user, the more and better the options, the merrier! Even personally, I love every time I get some device to sink my teeth into. So as the novel 6 Pro reached my hands, I was quick to grill it. The fact that it’s been pushed as a spiritual sequel to the Realme X and not the Realme 5 pro made me all the more curious.
For a starting MSRP of Rs. 17,000, the phone brings a 90Hz dual-punch hole display, Snapdragon 720G, Android 10, and a 64MP quad cam. You may also view it as an alternative to Realme X2 where the AMOLED display has been swapped with a high-refresh-rate LCD panel.
While that ensemble sounds competent, one might wonder there gotta be some compromise, right? Well, there are some trade-offs, that I’ll bring to your attention. And by the end of the review, you’ll know whether you should buy the device or not.

While it’s distant relative OnePlus popularized the 90Hz refresh rate last year, Realme discounts that lubricity to less than one-third the price. The 6 Pro parades a large 6.6-inch display with FHD+ resolution and fluid responsiveness. But, that smoothness is bartered against AMOLED found on the Realme 5 series.
Upon a close probe, I realized this panel shares a plight worse than its peers. The colors are inaccurate and pale, even so, that Realme 6 (review) has a better display. Bizarre! ‘Tis even harder to notice when you’re outdoors.
The back has a familiar oblong with sensors and a realme logo linear to it towards the bottom. The camera To make things different, Realme 6 Pro sports a dynamic lightning texture at the back. That’s fancy to tote around!
The device is also easy to handle one-handed and fits comfortably in the palm. A lite profile even when its mostly glass build, save for plastic mid-frame. The left frame has the volume rocker and sim shelf, the right frame has a power key cum fingerprint reader and the base is where the phone’s solo speaker, USB-C port and 3.5mm jack resides. The buttons are easily reachable and responsive (even the fingerprint scanner).
So, let’s unlock it now!
Realme 6 Pro Review: Performance
I was looking forward to using this phone ever since I came to know it is running on the latest slice of Snapdragon – 720G.
Tasks like app-loading, multi-tasking, scrolling through Zuckstagram flew with ease. However once a while, the rectangle smart bloke did pause and ponder. Still, won’t label it a spoilsport. It garnered decent results on benchmarks and battlefields (PUBG) too. The battle royale game ran at 30 frames (not bad, not wow either) and here’s various other yardsticks data –

The performance is fueled by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 in multiple configs to choose from. But, the real crowd-pleaser experience-wise would be Realme UI. And that’s a stark contrast in my opinion from ColorOS on Realme X and 5 Pro. If you go back to mine or any other reviews back in the days, the OS used to hold a place in the cons section. Not anymore!

Android 10 treat and Realme’s own optimization trickery makes it one of the best software rendition in the Android world. A mix of my favs – Dark Mode (3rd party app-compatible), resizable windows, Digital Wellbeing, floating windows, game space, etcetera. That said, hey Realme, you can still let go of some things. A bevy of bloat and smart assistant, are, for instance, ghosts of ColorOS still haunting Realme UI. A personal opinion, yet it’s something worth quibbling.
The phone ships with the latest security update too. This is something left understated mostly but definitely confidence-inducing for the Android platform in general.
Speaking of which, dependable camera(s) is almost always a crucial criterion for a confident smartphone purchase. So,

Details are sketchy once you go all in. But, frankly, having varied sensors is in itself a big shot. Here, they are serviceable.
Despite the night, the cameras manage to pull some genuine good shots. Nightscape piques the colors and along with it, comes some noise. Look at grains on the sky in the image below.

Moving to macro, the last sensor of the lot can capture details as close as 4cm. The results were passable.

Bring in some humans to the fore and the camera won’t disappoint, although the dynamic range needs work. The portrait shots are worth sharing on social media. But, the blur can look a bit unnatural. The good thing is the presence of a slider to adjust the background bokeh.

And that’s a good thing about the camera UI. Scroll and you’ll find ample options to toy around. You get options like Time Lapse, Slo-mo, Panorama, Expert mode, full-64MP mode, and ultra-steady clips up to 4K@30fps.
Realme 6 Pro Review: Audio, Battery, and Connectivity
The sound outta the solo speaker at the foot is as secluded and soft as you would expect. But, for what it’s worth these days, Jack is here! So put on your cans or in-ears to enjoy the content. Or else go cordless and you’re backed by Bluetooth 5.1 and associated codecs (AAC/APTX/APTX-HD). Go gaga!
Sitting in between the grille and hole is a USB-C socket. That’s where you dock the in-box 30W fast charger. Yes, if the 4300 mAh juice bank drains out, it can refill to 100 in an hour. Back to zero can easily take you through a regular day! Even if you push the device to limits, that charger is liberating to have.
Amongst other things, the phone bags ISRO’s NavIC navigation system out of the box. It’s not something we could explicitly test. Nevertheless, theoretically speaking, that’s better location accuracy in congested urban areas.
Oh, yeah calls were okie-dokie. No problem whatsoever. But, let’s cut the call now as its time for the final say.
Realme 6 Pro Review: Verdict
You see Realme 6 Pro has a lot of features going for it. The dual-punch-hole is a pleasing change from the cookie-cutter notches of yesterdays. Even though the plastic part does cheapen the build ever-so-slightly. Then there is functional and feature-filled software, reliable optics, and the rest of its performing hardware.
And by now you know that the weak sauce is that display. I hope it can be fixed by some tuning. Cuz, if not, that’s a killjoy for sure!
So, yeah, a better display and speaker output would have done wonders. But beyond that, if you love a good bargain just like the next guy, this my friend is an amazing value for money.

Still, anonymous apps have consistently proven to be havens for cyberbullying and unsafe behavior. Without the accountability of having your name attached, people are free to say awful things. That can be even worse amongst teenagers who might get in trouble for being mean at school but not on an app.
Yolo first focused on messages blocking 10% of overall messages that contained offensive content. That meant blatant hate speech and trolling couldn’t spread through the app. “We’re strict on moderation. When looking at the reviews about bullying, it’s like nothing compared to any other anonymous app. I think we solved 90% of the problem.”
Now it’s working with Snapchat to safeguard the group chats feature. The goal is to ensure Yolo doesn’t actively recommend chat amongst adults to minors and vice-versa. Henrion says this update should roll out soon.
“It’s 2020 and we need to be very responsible” Henrion tells me. “Moderation and growth are the most difficult things to balance. It’s moderation first for sure. We don’t care about growth if it’s not healthy or sustainable.” The new funding also gives Yolo the luxury of pushing back monetization while it focuses on safely adding more users.
By making anonymity more private, Yolo has a chance to sidestep some of the worst elements of human behavior. Making fun of someone has less appeal if there’s no wider audience like trolls exploited in the feeds and comment reels of Secret and YikYak.
That could let the brighter side of anonymity shine through: vulnerability, honesty and deep connections that are enhanced by the absence of embarrassment. Now it’s working with Snapchat to safeguard the group chats feature. The goal is to ensure Yolo doesn’t actively recommend chat amongst adults to minors and vice-versa. Henrion says this update should roll out soon.

We don’t care about growth if it’s not healthy or sustainable.” The new funding also gives Yolo the luxury of pushing back monetization while it focuses on safely adding more users.
By making anonymity more private, Yolo has a chance to sidestep some of the worst elements of human behavior. Making fun of someone has less appeal if there’s no wider audience like trolls exploited in the feeds and comment reels of Secret and YikYak.
That could let the brighter side of anonymity shine through: vulnerability, honesty and deep connections that are enhanced by the absence of embarrassment. With all the change, uncertainty and anxiety that’s part of growing up, teens deserve a place where they can be open with each other and speak their minds. After all, you only live once.

Teen hit Yolo raises $8M to let you Snapchat anonymously
It wasn’t a fad. Yolo became the country’s No. 1 app just a week after launch by letting teens ask for anonymous replies to questions they posted on Snapchat. But nine months later, Yolo is still in the top 100 iOS apps and has 10 million active users. Now it’s safeguarding the app from predators while revealing a smart new feature for spinning up anonymous group chats, powered by $8 million in fresh funding.
“What we are trying to build is a new kind of network where there’s a fluidity to identity,” Yolo co-founder Greg Henrion tells me. “We weren’t sure if Yolo was here to stay, but we’re still ranking well and there seems to be a real opportunity in anonymity starting with Snapchat Q&A.”
Yolo is the first big win for Snapchat’s Snap Kit platform that lets developers piggyback on its login, Bitmoji avatars, stickers and Stories. This lets tiny development teams build apps that hundreds of millions of people, teens in particular, can instantly sign up for in just a few taps. We haven’t seen this kind of social platform success since Zynga’s empire rose atop Facebook. Spawning more blockbusters like Yolo could ensure that a Snapchat account is a must-have utility for the next generation.
Sleepless nights atop the charts
“For two weeks we basically didn’t sleep,” Henrion recalls about the chaos he and co-founder Clément Raffenoux endured after Yolo shot to No. 1 last May. “You’re trying to stay afloat. It was very, very wild.”
The basic premise of Yolo is that you write a question like, “Who’s my celebrity look alike?”, “What do people really think of me?” or “How could I be nicer?”. You’re then switched over to Snapchat, where you can post the question in your Story or messages with a link back to Yolo. There, people can anonymously leave a response; you can post that and your reply with another post on Snapchat.

The result is that friends and followers feel comfortable giving you real talk. They don’t have to sugarcoat their answers. And that makes people race to open Yolo each time they get a message. Yolo has seen 26 million downloads across iOS and Android globally, with nearly 70% in the U.S.
Other anonymous apps like tbh (acquired by Facebook) and Sarahah (kicked off the app stores) quickly faded, and others eventually imploded due to bullying, like Secret and YikYak. Although tbh hit No. 1 in September 2017, it was out of the top 500 by November. It seems a combination of inherent virality via Snapchat, easy user acquisition via Snap Kit and sharp product design has given Yolo some staying power. It still managed 2.2 million downloads last month versus a peak of 5.5 million in its first month back in May 2019.
That June, Yolo quietly raised a $2 million seed round thanks to its sudden success. The team had been grinding since 2017 on a video reactions app called Popshow funded by a small pre-seed round from SV Angel, Shrug Capital and Product Hunt’s Ryan Hoover. They’d previously built music video-making app Mindie that eventually sold to influencer collective Shots Studios. Popshow never caught on, so the team began experimenting on Snap Kit, building a more official Q&A feature for Snapchat than predecessors like Sarahah and Polly. Then, boom. Days after launch, Yolo’s usage exploded.
But to keep users interested, Yolo needed to evolve. That would require more funding for the eight-person team split between Snapchat’s home of Los Angeles and Henrion’s home of Paris.
An honest way to chat
The concept of a social app where users could shift between full anonymity and representation via avatar attracted its $8 million Series A to invest in product and engineering. The round was led by Thrive Capital, Ron Conway’s A.Capital, former TechCrunch editor Alexia Tsotsis’ Dream Machine, Shrug, Day One, Goodwater, Knight VC, ex-Facebooker Bobby Goodlatte, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone and SV Angel’s Brian Pokorny.
That cash fueled the release of Yolo’s new group chat feature. You can set up a chat room, give it a name and generate an invite URL or sticker you can post on Snapchat, just like its previous question feature. Friends or friends of friends that are already in can join the group chat, represented by their Bitmoji instead of their name. Yolo suggests people join the more open “party mode” chats where their friends are active.
What makes this special is that once an hour, users can tap the Yolo Superpowers button to send a totally anonymous message to the group. More Superpowers are coming, but there’s also an anonymous “Someone has a crush on [name]” message so you can secretly profess your affection to anyone or someone else in the chat.
