Speaking on Perth radio station 96FM, Ricciardo said there was usually a mad rush to use the toilets before a race. 'You don't want to wee in a race car,' he said. 'The belts are so tight and they are pushing in on you and it's just not fun. 'I tried recently doing it in a bottle, nup, doesn't work. 'Everyone kind of queues up sometimes and because you don't have much time,.' Ricciardo spoke about the embarrassing incident while back in Perth and said he took the jab from Raikkonen personally However with no female race car drivers in the F1 and a massive queue outside of the men's toilet, Ricciardo spotted an opportunity during his early days.  'There was like a females and a males, and I was like 'look when you've got to go, you just go',' he said. 'So I walked into the females and as I was walking out Raikkonen goes 'all the women are in here' or something like that. 'He was basically having a jab at me that I'm female. 'I was new and the way he kind of said it, he doesn't really talk to anyone, I just took it personally. 'One day I will show you I am a man.' Raikkonen and Ricciardo were all smiles at this press conference in 2018 but the two had several clashes during their F1 careers Ricciardo on the podium of the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix with Raikkonen and former rival Sebastian Vettel  It wouldn't be the last time the two drivers locked horns, with Ricciardo previously revealing that Raikkonen had blanked him on the paddock. 'On the grid, I tend to be quite friendly with people, but if I smile at someone and they blank me — it kind of p***es me off. I take it personally for sure,' he told Esquire in 2020. 'I remember Kimi [Raikkonen] used to give me the cold shoulder and I took that personally. 'I would make a mental note of it, and on-track if I was ever feeling generous it was never going to be towards him.' Throughout his career, Raikkonen was known for his cool demeanor and impressive racecraft, earning the nickname 'The Iceman'.  He has won 21 races, earned 103 podiums, and set 18 fastest laps over the course of his F1 career. Die Familie Burke sieht sich nun mit täglichen Rechnungen in Höhe von 2.700 Euro (103.213 Baht) für seine Intensivpflege konfrontiert und muss verzweifelt um Hilfe bitten. Der 36-jährige James Burke hatte ursprünglich geplant, am 19. November nach Hause zurückzukehren, und schrieb seiner Familie aufgeregt eine SMS, in der er seine Vorfreude auf das Wiedersehen zum Ausdruck brachte. Während seiner Taxifahrt zum Flughafen ereignete sich jedoch eine Tragödie, und später wurde bei ihm Dengue-Fieber diagnostiziert, berichtete der Irish Independent.

Margaret Creed, James‘ Schwester, offenbarte den Kummer der Familie. „James hat es nie nach Hause geschafft. Das war das Letzte, was wir von ihm hörten.“ Seine Eltern, der 83-jährige Walter und die 76-jährige Maureen, verbrachten zusammen mit seinen acht Geschwistern Tage in verzweifelter Ungewissheit, bis sie erfuhren, dass er über sein Hotel ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert wurde. Angesichts einer kritischen Entscheidung beantragten thailändische Ärzte die Erlaubnis, James im Bangkok Hospital intubieren zu dürfen. Im Gespräch mit PJ Coogan auf der 96FM Opinion Line offenbarte Burkes Mutter Maureen die schlimme Situation. „Er hatte akutes Nierenversagen, eine Lungenentzündung, eine Gehirnblutung und schwere Nervenschäden. Wir wissen nicht, ob er jemals wieder derselbe sein wird, und wir können nicht zu ihm gehen, weil wir jeden Penny unserer Ersparnisse für das Krankenhaus ausgegeben haben.“ Finanzielle Belastung Obwohl eine Urlaubsversicherung bestand, war diese zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme abgelaufen, was die Familie finanziell belastete, da die Versicherungsgesellschaft den Versicherungsschutz verweigerte. Die Option eines Krankentransports per Flugzeug zurück nach Irland beläuft sich laut Daily Mail UK auf gewaltige 176.000 Euro (6 Millionen Baht) . James‘ Schwester berichtet über seinen Zustand. „Er bleibt die meiste Zeit mit einem leeren Blick in den Augen auf der Intensivstation intubiert. Wir sind am Ende unserer Kräfte. Wir haben jeden TD durchgesehen. Unsere Familie ist so verzweifelt“, sagte sie weiter. Aus Verzweiflung hat die Familie Burke eine GoFundMe-Seite eingerichtet, um James nach Irland zurückzubringen, wo er auf einer örtlichen Intensivstation behandelt werden kann. Die Sprachbarriere bei der Kommunikation mit thailändischen Ärzten verstärkt ihre Bedenken und führt zu der Bitte um finanzielle Unterstützung. „Die Kosten für das Krankenhaus betragen 2.700 Euro täglich, und das wird so lange dauern, bis James nach Hause kommen kann. Wir als Familie haben unsere Ersparnisse aufgebraucht und befinden uns in einer schweren Krise. Wir warten jetzt auf ein Wunder.
