My Great Grandparents taken in the early 1900s. My grandfather is standing in front of them, the other kids in the pic were his siblings. I don’t know who the lady is to the left of them.
Both of my great grandparents were orphaned by the Civil War in north Florida when they were very young. My great grandfather was sold by his older sister to a plantation owner because she couldn’t take care of all the kids.
I have very fond memories of talking with them when I was a young boy, they both died a week apart at 99yrs old.

Bonnie and Brittneys family is one of the most oldest and prominent covens in the supernatural community. The Bennett witches were around for centuries. Even before the original family was “created”. The sisters are aware of their lineage on their mothers side and are quite proud of the knowledge they have about that side of their family. Due to their knowledge, they do get wry when other beings come to them for magical assistance. Just due to knowing they aren't the only one with the knowledge. The Bennett family tree is a large one. It is a fact that no matter where one goes, they are bound to run into a Bennett witch ( or warlock ). The current oldest living Bennett witch is 99yrs old.

Funny how even my own family members think I’m “sad & lonely” just cuz I choose not to go out as much as them 🤡
Unlike them who are living in their ivory towers, huge bubble and delusional fantasy world, I actually have life goals I want to achieve which requires as much money as possible once I hit retirement age (50 if I’m lucky).
Smart people who guessed that I want to migrate elsewhere, you’re right! Looking at SG and comparing its situation to HK, we’re in deep shit la!
All these mega influx of new citizens and PR from fucking India and China are going to be the death of us true blue Singaporeans! Snatch jobs snatch hdb. Only the top 1% wouldn’t be affected by the influx cuz most of their businesses rely on the country having MORE people.
Suckers who pay a million for an hdb now (2024) will be part of those who’ll sentence your kids and especially grandkids to death as they’ll not be able to afford a roof over their heads in future. (Unless you only plan on passing down your hdb flat to them for the next 200 years which is also impossible since hdb has only 99yrs then it’s automatically taken back by the Govt 😂)
Makes me relieved I’m single and not going to have kids. All I need to think about is myself and able to do whatever I want 😝 The world is indeed my playground!

Some things I’ve learned from my 99yr old great aunt, love you aunt Fern💕
1. Don’t live to be that old, really, she is the last of her og family alive and she is lonely. She still remembers her childhood pretty well and is surrounded with children and grandchildren but that doesn’t make up for the longing.
2. You do not age gracefully, you just have to accept it and move on. My mother is having health problems and aunt Fern was deadpan ‘get a walker and adult diapers they will come in handy’. (My mother broke her ankle like a month later and i did have to goodwill a walker).
3. Ask questions about other peoples life style, aunt Fern asked about my siblings hair ( a dyed long mohawk, not pointy) and was interested about the hair care that was involved. It was really nice and my sibling was happy to explain the process.
4. Spend time around your family, me and one of my siblings grew up around her. She came to visit a lot after my grandpa died (her brother) for years and made a big impact even though we were young. Like little kids will look up to you if you can make them laugh!!
5. She has some dark humor in her and i love it. I asked her if she wanted to make it to 100 and she said no. I love her so much.
6. If you have a friend or someone that is about the same age thats great because for sure that have almost a centuries worth in common.
7. Idk how but i have two great aunts that are 99 and they are both Italian. I think it is the food and the spiteful spirit but you can find that anywhere. Hi aunt Mary too.💕
8. Don’t be afraid to say what you mean. I told her flying to visit was terrible and she said a drive was only 4.5 hours. I usually drive but flying was supposed to be easier. I wish i would have drove.

Some HDB owners are delusional, selling their 3-4BR apartment for S$1 million, some even more than a million! They think their HDB made out of gold or something 😂🤡
Might as well buy a condo if they’re selling at those prices for 3-4BR! Carpark lots and sports amenities included. Sure there’s a monthly maintenance fee for condo but NO HDB is worth a million dollars, not even those 5BR ones! Why? Cuz at the end of the 99yrs, it goes back to the Govt, you don’t really own it.
HDB was meant to be affordable housing for ALL Singapore citizens, not used for speculating and/or inflating housing prices!!! 🤬
Govt should look to cool down HDB prices and tax condo owners more. Nowadays the top 10% rich people (foreigners included) in Singapore are going for luxury condos instead of GCB’s as overall cost of living has increased significantly. That’s how the rich stay rich, they DOWNgrade when cost of living UPgrades!
