HIIIII you feel like the right person to ask abt this (esp since i originally heard abt 3d workers island from you). do you know of any horror stuff that's in a similar manner to that? clicking through old webpages and stuff. i'm not sure how to explain it but even if i didn't really Get 3dwi i really liked the experience of it

Hmm... I'm not actually sure if I can think of much else along these lines, aside from, like, lomando.com—though this differs considerably in its sort of "adventure" style gameplay, and it lacks the linear story that 3dwi.scr has. There's almost certainly something more alike out there, but I don't keep up with web horror that much... If anyone else has suggestions, I'd like to hear them as well!

#It's kind of interesting to me how often I see people claim they “don't get” 3dwi.scr. (Mostly in the tags of my post about it.)#Compared to Petscop‚ it's pretty straightforward! Because at no point in 3dwi do you have to drop everything to go listen to Ace of Base.#A lot of Petscop's methods of obscuring information came from the abstractions of its kind of arcane mechanics‚#which don't really exist to the same extent in 3dwi.scr. It's a lot less “puzzle”-y.#It leaves me wondering if the confusion comes from the lack of these proverbial puzzle pieces.#Like‚ there's this presumption that something has been left “unsolved” on your end.#I think it's best to banish these kinds of expectations‚ and not so heavily doubt your own experience of this kind of story.#That's how I see it‚ at least. Man I love 3dwi.scr.#Also if you just want to click through old webpages that tell a story in general though go play Hypnospace Outlaw immediately.
