When Did I Create My Blog: September 2017, I think? Can’t have been earlier than that, this thing is new.

What Do I Post: Mostly just Star Trek stuff but other fan content. A lot of fic drabbles for Garashir. Politics pop up because I’m from the US and it’s a mess right now (also, I consider myself a political person. Always have been.) and sometimes Jewish stuff because, idk, I posted about it ONE TIME and then got all this anti-Semitic bs and decided I was all in after that.

Last Thing I Googled: Tiffany Haddish. I’m listening to her book on audio (it’s amazing, I highly recommend The Last Black Unicorn) and I wanted a reference pic to draw her while I listened.

Do I Have Any Other Blogs: Nope. I had one tumblr before this that I made in 2015 but I only used it for about a year, got harassed and threatened on anon by my abuser and her friends so I deactivated it (after sending screenshots to the authorities because my life was being threatened :D)

Why Did I Choose My URL: Ameera was my D&D character when I was eleven. Became my AO3 name and I made this for my fic so... AmeeraWritesStuff.

Average Hours Of Sleep: I usually sleep for about 4 hours, wake up and do stuff, and then nap for 4 more hours. I’m a mess.

Lucky Number: Uh... I don’t really believe in stuff like that. I can tell you my UNlucky number though. 12. Nothing good happens with 12. Remember when you were 12 years old? 12 year olds are the worst. My friend Natalie and I would always grumble “twelve...” whenever someone would pull stupid stunts in our class because we decided “twelve is a mentality that some people never grow out of” 

Instruments: I was apparently a prodigy with saxophone. I never practiced, I hated the damn thing, but I was always first chair and got into Jazz band without really trying. An older kid would steal my music so I couldn’t practice even if I wanted to, but I still was given solos and my teacher tried to get me to play with his bee-bop band (they were eligible for a Grammy). I hated that damn thing more than anything else in my life and I hated that teacher even more. I dropped all the bands and saxophone in 6th grade in favor of chorus. I had that band teacher for Music Theory later on, he never forgave me and was just a constant dick.

Ahem. Moving on. I played Mandolin for a while and did Violin for a bit but I honestly never had the discipline for it and I only want to play instruments that I can sing with. I can play recorder crazy good though because it’s basically the same as saxophone though. I also had to learn ukulele for a part in a musical I did. I pick up instruments and then drop them pretty quick. I really don’t have the patience for them as much as I love music.

Dream Job: Screenwriter. That’s the goal. I’m also writing a novel (been writing it since 2014) that I plan to get published in a couple of years. I want to make a screenplay from it too.

Favourite Food: Chocolate.

Nationality: US Citizen. Maternal Grandpa was a German-Jewish refugee and paternal great grandparents were Irish immigrants. Aka, a mutt. That’s kinda the point of America.

Last Book I Read: Currently reading The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish. Last book I read for pleasure was The Assassination Bureau by Jack London (yes, so I could better write my fanfic Adaptation Assassination, don’t judge me)
