Hello! This might be a baseless concern, but I was just hoping for some thoughts? Kenta lives by himself according to his most recent Ma Boy video and he works part time at the same time as being a trainee. He's also part of a no-name company; I searched up Star Road Ent and they only manage a couple of small actors/musicians and really barely exist. He must have quit his job to participate in pd101 and paying rent by himself must be pricy in Seoul! I'm worried how he's living in Korea himself!

(cont) Not only the concern of money, but it must be really lonely living by yourself at such a young age in a country where you are considered a foreigner, and I’m sure his family in Japan miss him as well. I’m worried that he will become sad and discouraged, yet at the same time I understand how much fight and determination it must take to accept such a challenge and pursue a career as an idol regardless. I just worry for his sake. What do you think about this?

I agree in everything you just said anon. Kenta also went to Korea without knowing much korean and he has been learning and improving so much and i’m really proud of him. About the company I’m 100% with you, even if it’s a really small company, it can at least help promoting Kenta but i haven’t seen it doing much other than publishing Kenta’s performances so the management is really poor and upsetting to me. He used to work part-time job at a coffee shop which i’m not sure if he quit or not and he also made a lot of performances back in Japan and I believe he saved all that money so he can go to Korea and achieve his dreams. 

Living in Seoul is really expensive and i did some research and the average person spends around $970 monthly (source) which is A LOT of money and in the case of Kenta it must be really hard, but there are always the cheaper options where you can save a lot of money like living in a goshiwon (read more here) 

It must’ve been really lonely and sad for him leaving everything behind and starting a new life in a new country and I feel that he sometimes felt worried, sad and discouraged but at the same time i know he has great determination and knows that he can do this. I’m really happy he joined PD101 because he got to meet some of his best friends (eunki, insoo, jaechan, woojin, etc) that will always be there for him and support him no matter what and that is what gives kenta strength to keep going, to keep fighting and achieve his dreams. Even if he isn’t in the final lineup, I can bet you he will try and work even harder and I will always be here supporting him no matter what. Everything will be fine at the end that is what i’m hoping. Kenta has built a solid fanbase (even if it’s a small one it will keep growing) that will support him always and we will always be there for him when he debuts~
