#better call saul#bcs#lalo salamanca#still cannot BELIEVE they did this…#like. he’s a foundational sacrifice metaphorically in that Gus killing him allowed him to go on to found his meth empire#but also LITERALLY because he is IN THE FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#it’s SO funny i can’t even deal with it - i’ve been losing my mind over this since before i even started the show#i say a lot that hearing about Nacho’s death is what made me start… which is partially true…#that’s what made me start seriously considering it and a dream i had about Nacho later sealed the deal#but i SPECIFICALLY remember hearing about Lalo being buried under the lab and going ‘oh this show has foundational sacrifice in it???????’#and THAT was when i blocked spoilers with official intent to eventually watch#so it was a highly-anticipated event for me and it did NOT disappoint#picture me going into Breaking Bad for the first time and the ONLY Salamanca i’m aware of is Lalo and the ONLY thing i know about him is#that he’s a foundational sacrifice with a good sense of humor about it#perhaps that explains a lot about how i um… *responded* to all i went on to witness…#ANYWAYS - this one goes out to you Cleo 😂😂 thank you for encouraging me in my nonsense#and i’m thrilled that this Hit for you… Target Audience…
