Last summer I got a crown on a tooth that super randomly broke. Well since then it's been slowly getting more and more tender and now it's sensitive to both cold & hot and it's pretty certain the root of the tooth is dying and I'm going to need a root canal (which will involve drilling through the crown I'm still paying off 🙃). And now since I lost the job that gave me my prior dental insurance and I'm paying for a different/worse one myself, there's no coverage for this at all until I hit a deductible. So my co-insurance due at the time of service would be a bit over $1000. Which would be laughable with my money situation right now if it wasn't so distressing. Cuz you know, the root of my tooth is dying.

#they don't do payment plans either #WHY AREN'T TEETH CONSIDERED IMPORTANT #ASLKJDFA;SLKDJF #if it dies and i get an abscess - which i've had once before and it's super fucking painful - i'll need to ask someone for money #ugh #ihatethisihatethisihatethis #i'm just never going to get my head above water am i #it'd help if my job would give more fucking HOURS too but only to an extent #sitting here biding my time until i can finally get my bartender training in a couple weeks and start getting those shifts/tips #and then i can have bartending on my resume and more easily get a second (or different...) job bartending #either way i need to tell mgmt that i don't want to do opening shifts anymore so i can get any form of second job during the day #thinking about money literally nauseates me #mine
