In days of old, Prajapati Daksha organized a grand ritual with the intent to insult Paramashiva. Daksha invited beings from the entire universe, all the Gods and Goddesses across the vertical time zones, but purposely excluded Paramashiva. Sati, his daughter and the consort of Paramashiva, pulled by parental bonding, went by herself to the Yaga despite Paramashiva's warning, and Daksha insulted her in front of the entire gathering. Sati unable to withstand the insult of her own father, self-immolated herself in the sacrificial fire. Enraged, Paramashiva assumed the formidable form of Veerabhadra and annihilated Daksha's entire yagna. Veerabhadra then severed Daksha's head, removing the ego which blinded him with ignorance. Paramashiva then appeared and gave life back to Daksha, free from delusion. This great story exemplifies a profound truth: the Guru liberates us through His ferociousness. Paramashiva, as the Guru of the universe, takes responsibility for Daksha's ignorance and liberates him by removing his ego. Veerabhadra did not kill Daksha but liberated him from his wrong identity. Today, Bhagavan Veerabhadra Murthy manifests again through His Living Manifestation, THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, to liberate us from the bondage of Time and self-restrictive patterns, empowering us to stand up to our full potential! #Nithyananda #Kailasa
