well this is a stupid thing i made a few weeks ago and forgot about, my brother had been showing me too many tiermaker images and i never thought i’d do one but then realised there are many deaths and i have opinions so... 

i tried to include as many different deaths that i know about and could find images of (yes i included ivan ozhogin and kirill gordeev even though they were just concert performances but look i just really like them) 

if you want to do it yourself, the link is in the replies to this post (can’t put it here otherwise once again tumblr blocks the post from showing up in tags) and don’t think you have to use all of them, i just included them all more for the example than anything, but if you only know a few then don’t feel like you have to rank them all. 

obviously this is just my personal opinion, for sure i’m up for talking with people about their favourites, but not for arguing. everyone’s got different tastes, doesn’t make any of us wrong

I was really, really bored, so I made this personal ranking of my favourite to least favourite Der Tods. I tried to include as many as I could, but excluded some because I wasn’t that familiar with them. Was inspired by @emptymasks‘ tier, but I made my own template.

I ranked them based overall on both vocals and acting interpretation of the character. For Uwe and Máté specifically, I divided their versions of the character based on the different production they were in (For Uwe, it’s Vienna and Essen and for Máté, it’s Hungary, Vienna and Japan).  It’s all my own personal opinion but I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts!

Your favourite Rudolf and why? I'll answer this for the older Rudolf, 'cause quite frankly, the younger Rudolf only whines in 'Mama, wo bist du', and I can't stand that song. I really like Addo Kruizinga, for reasons I don't really get. For me, Rudolf needs to be a person that tries to change the world (that's why he disagrees with his father and does that openly), while at the same time, he doesn't understand why he's still trying, since he has the feeling the world has nothing left to offer him.

Elisabeth in Concert 14/06/2017 Middagvoorstelling.

Zoals belooft zou ik gisteren/vandaag een blog maken over Elisabeth in Concert zodat voor als er mensen nog moesten gaan na een woensdag dat ze zonder dat ‘verassingen’verklapt werden. Ik doe deze blog in het Nederlands omdat, ik het 1. Het voor mezelf het even het gemakkelijkste vindt om het te schrijven en 2. Voor de mensen die niet zo goed Engels kunnen. 

Ik wil bij deze alvast sorry zeggen mochten er spelfouten en/of zins fouten staan (ben soms iets te enthousiast met typen dat ik later pas mijn fouten ziet)

Oke, terug naar Woensdag 14/06/2017. Ik heb de tijd van mijn leven gehad, de kostuums, de lokatie, de muziek, cast, de jurken van Pia, eigenlijk alles klopte aan het plaatje

Ik heb de dingen in punten opgeschreven:

- Pia had de meeste kledingwisselingen, waarvan 1 - 2 jurken uit een Duitste productie kwamen: Als Jij/Wie Du jurk (denk ik) / Als jij/Wie DU (REP)- Was ik Jouw Spiegel Maar/Wenn Ich Dein Spiegel Wär Jurk (kwam niet uit de productie 1999 maar uit welke wel weet ik niet, als iemand het wel weet hoor ik het graag!).

- Het nummer ‘Als Ik Dansen Wil/Wenn Ich Tanzen Wil’ zat erin (dit nummer zat niet in 1999). Het nummer was wel anders vertaald dan de Belgische Versie uit 2009 (Ik kan de teksten uit de musical letterlijk woord voor woord dus ik merkte met dit nummer dat die anders was), maar zo gaaf, mooi deze versie met Pia en Stanley (die chemie tussen die twee is denk bijna de zelfde als Pia en Uwe).

- Stanley droeg tijdens de eerste ‘Er Valt Een Zwarte Schaduw/Die Schatten Werden Langer’ (als blijkt Elisabeth dochter Sophie dood is) een Zwarte Jas (volgens mij ook het pak) die werd gebruikt vanaf de Weense Productie 2012 (op de foto’s gedragen door Mark Seibert/Mate Kamaras) .

-Sommige nummers waren eruit gehaald/of werd een gedeelte uit gebuikt.

-Bij ‘Zich Zonder Gene/Nur Kein Genieren’ hadden de dames en Madam Wolfs /Frau Wolfsde kleding aan uit de Weense Productie 2012 aan, en een van de dames haalden een man uit het publiek oom te dansen.

- Jeroen versprak zich een keer in ‘Niets Weegt Zwaar/Nichts Is Schwer’.

- Er kwam 2 keer een koets met paarden voorbij, bij ‘Kitsch’ met Pia erin en een tijdens ‘Dodendans/Mayerling’ met een doodkist erop (en Stanley), bleef staan tijdens ‘Rudolf Waar Ben Je/Totenklage’.

-Wim paste zijn tekst soms een beetje aan bij ‘ Zich Zonder Gene/Nur Kein Genieren’ wordt er normaal gezegd ‘De kleine is helaas besmet’ dat werd nu ‘Die/De lange is helaas besmet’ bij ‘Kitsch’ zei hij  ‘Kom dichterbij’ zag hoeveel mensen er waren (waren 4000 mensen, heb ik persoonlijk niets van gemerkt dat je met zoveel mensen zaten) en zei ‘Ik kom wel naar jullie toe’  en bij ‘Mijn Nieuw Arsotiment/Meine Neues Sortiment’ zei hij ‘en sterren aan de lucht’ keek omhoog en trok een gezicht van ‘welke sterren?’ (lucht was strak blauw, geen wolkje aan de lucht).

- De pruiken van Pia waren misschien anders dan uit 1999, en zaten pruiken bij waar grijs in was verwerkt (als Elisabeth ouder was).

- Bij ‘Dodendans/Mayerling’ is normaal dat Rudolf als, die de trekker overhaalt om zelfmoord te plegen dat de Dood hem kust, was dit keer niet (je zag Rudolf naar achter lopen en je hoorden een schot).

- Tijdens het begin van ‘De Franse Ziekte/Die Maladie’ als ze merken dat Elisabeth is gevallen en wordt geroepen dat er een dokter moet komen, zag je (volgens mij, kan het ook verkeerd begrepen hebben) het ‘hoertje’weglopen in een ochtendjas/badmuts.

Ik denk dat die wel zo beetje is (ik heb volgens mij nog nooit zo lange blog geschreven) en nogmaals ik heb de dag van mijn leven gehad, Elisabeth is een van de mooiste musicals die ik ken (de musical betekent best wel wat voor mij), Pia is gewoon de beste Elisabeth ever, die mimiek in haar gezicht, de houding alles was gewoon perfect aan haar (ik heb het persoonlijk niet droog gehouden bij ‘Het Leven Is Van Mij/Ich Gehör Nur Mir’). Ik hoop dat de degen die het ook gezien hebben ook zo mooie dag hadden dan ik. Ik heb trouwens gelezen dat Stage Entertainment volgend nog zoiets willen gaan doen, ik ben voor The Phantom of The Opera (met Henk Poort & Joke de Kruijf) of Les Miserables cast 1991.

Mocht er dingen zijn die ik over het hoofd heb gezien hoor ik het graag (wel graag in het Nederlands/Engels). En mochten er mensen zijn die hebben gefilmd en/of een audio hebben gemaakt ASJEBLIEFT deel het, ik (en vele andere zullen je eeuwig dankbaar zijn !)
