Today isn't far from what my normal day looks like. Alone, yet unlonely—if there's such a word. I maximized my working hours and I almost finish everything even the things I'm supposed to accompish half-day of tomorrow.
The only different thing that happened today is that I have listened to this preaching which tackled about how one can guard his/her heart when he/she has a crush on someone, and I'm telling you guys.. while listening to that preaching, I can't help but feel attacked.
Just to share, the bottomline of that preaching is that we should not confuse "guarding our heart" with denying/blocking the possibilities of love to happen in our life just because we think "it's not yet the right time". Just a friendly reminder–our minds are so limited that we can never predict what God has in mind or what he's about to do. In short, we should let God do His will on our lives. We shouldn't be the one imposing this or that in our lives. Ikaw rin baka single ka for life (not that it’s a bad thing since bring single is another kind of gift from God). Just let things be without assuming or expecting anything, that's what I'm trying to say.
Amen.

The past weeks were a bit stressful and messy. My used to well-planned and organized daily routine was crushed and transformed into confusing and unorganized one. During the first days, I woke up with seriously 0% will to get out of my bed and start my day. The only thing that pushes me to do otherwise is our 9:30AM conference call. As a responsible employee that I am, I cannot not attend that, well unless I file for a leave, which unfortunately I'm not yet allowed to do so. So that leaves me no choice.
Anyway, during every conference call that we do, I noticed that I always feel hyped up. I feel like I'm all ready to start my day and finish whatever's on my plate. Then it me. Human interactions truly play a big role in our lives. As they say, no man is an island. No one is destined to live alone. Because in the first place, having no one to talk to, no one to share your thoughts with, and no one to share your life with, someone might better choose not to live at all. It's a sad truth, I know.
So this season is truly a perfect time for us to reach out. We should start making people feel our presence. We should start moving and make people feel less lonely. After all, we're all in the same situation, quarantined, isolated, and distant from one another.
So who are we going to seek some help from and who are we going to lend our hands to, if not one another?
