O Projeto Concha, projeto de Porto Alegre que abrange shows, oficinas técnicas e residência artística para mulheres, em parceria com ejaòkun produções e Erva Doce Produções, traz à SIM São Paulo e ao Mundo Pensante um recorte de artistas que passaram pelo Concha e que lançaram seus discos em 2019. Mel Duarte (SP), Livia Nery (BA), Saskia (RS) e Luísa e os Alquimistas (RN), trazem ao palco o que será uma celebração dos diferentes significados e linguagens exploradas em seus trabalhos e do expoente das mulheres na música brasileira.

Terça 10/12 Terça Open: Ensaio Aberto do Bloco Pirata + DJ Tahira

O Bloco Pirata nasceu no pré-carnaval de 2018 com a missão de ocupar as ruas e fazer o carnaval durar o ano todo. Seu repertório de axé, funk, arrocha, samba, forró e frevos vem alegrando as ruas da Vila Madalena, Pompéia, além do público de eventos como o Coala Festival, Festival Pilantragi, Primavera Te Amo e Bateu.

Com alegria anunciamos uma noite de lua cheia para celebrar a estreia do clipe “Lunar” de Lorena Hollander aka OXU em parceria com o diretor Andre Vidigal, que retornam ao Mundo Pensante, local de gravação e materialização do projeto.

Quinta 12/12 Quinta + Cedo: Otto no Mundo Pensante

Entre os destaques do repertório estão canções de Samba pra Burro (1998), primeiro álbum após sua saída do Mundo Livre S/A, banda em que tocava percussão. Aclamado pela crítica, foi eleito o melhor disco do ano pela Associação Paulista de Críticos de Arte (APCA), com sua mistura arrojada entre música eletrônica, rap e ritmos folclóricos brasileiros. Cultuado até hoje, o trabalho motivou, em 2018, uma turnê em comemoração aos 20 anos do lançamento, com músicas simbólicas, como Ciranda de Maluco e Bob.

Sexta 13/12 Minuto Indie apresenta 5 Bandas

São 5 shows de diferentes artistas e bandas em uma única noite, é um festival mais rápido, mais leve e também menos cansativo. De certo que é ainda uma boa oportunidade para assistir aquele show que já estava no seu radar ou quem sabe simplesmente colar com os amigos pra se surpreender e conhecer sua nova banda favorita. Shows de Vivian Kuczynski, Walfredo em Busca da Simbiose, Muñoz, Basement Tracks e Luísa e os Alquimistas.

Sábado 14/12 Orquestra Livre de Rabecas + Bloco de Pífanos de SP

Inspirado na rica tradição das bandas de pífano do sertão nordestino (bandas cabaçais, ou zabumbas) surgiu em 2017, o Bloco de Pífanos de São Paulo, com o objetivo de popularizar a prática e disseminar o uso do instrumento na maior megalópole do continente americano.

Sábado 14/12 Je Treme & Transpira com Guitarrada das Manas

Depois de uma noite quente e transpirante, as festas se encontram para mais uma noite regada a muito jambu. Somando na noite, a Guitarrada das Manas apresenta Guamaense, primeiro álbum do duo paraense que traz uma sequência de músicas instrumentais e experimentais que caminham entre três vertentes: oitentista, world music e guitarrada paraense. Beá e Renata Beckmann buscaram referências primeiramente nos sons das ruas da periferia de Belém como o tecnomelody, a cumbia, a lambada e a guitarrada, mas em seguida passaram por sonoridades vindas dos sintetizadores da década de 80 e a world music, como Daft Punk e New Order.

Domingo 15/12 Bloco Lua Vai | Último Ensaio do Ano

A festa é um Baile 100% brasilidades dançantes sem preconceito balances, batuques, samba, disco, tropicalias, funks, bumbunzadas. No show os cremes do pagode 90′. Muito Raça Negra, SPC, Molejo, Soweto, e tudo que a gente ama cantar e sambar junto.

Quinta 19/12 Quinta + Cedo: Guilherme Held no Mundo Pensante

O guitarrista, compositor e produtor paulista Guilherme Held sobe ao palco do Mundo Pensante para lançar o primeiro single de sua carreira solo. O artista finalmente faz sua estreia solo com o lançamento do single “Pólvora”, uma composição sua em parceria com a cantora e compositora Tulipa Ruiz, também intérprete da faixa que fará parte do primeiro disco solo do guitarrista, com previsão de lançamento para o primeiro semestre de 2020. De forte acento tropicalista, fruto de sua influência nascida do decisivo encontro com Lanny Gordin, um dos pilares formadores da sonoridade do tropicalismo e reconhecido por muitos como o maior guitarrista da música brasileira, de quem Guilherme é considerado seu maior discípulo, em “Pólvora”, além de exibir sua já conhecida maestria na guitarra, Held também se consolida como um compositor de muitos recursos, de habilidade e imaginação muito originais.

Quinta 9/1 Quinta + Cedo: Rico Dalasam no Mundo Pensante

Rico Dalasam cantor, compositor e protagonista do movimento Queer Rapper no Brasil. Ressignifica e abre caminhos em direção aos novos códigos e ao novo tempo. Tempo esse em que permite se desconectar do mundo para se conectar com seu mais genuíno e íntimo estado poético por 70 semanas. “Nada mais justo do que celebrar essas 70 SEMANAS, assim intitulo esse show após 70 semanas sem lançar música, agora mais perto do que nunca de lançar meu segundo disco, abro os trabalhos dividindo com todos A primogênita Braille, 1o single desse novo tempo. Essa que faz parte do repertório junto com canções de 2015 e 2016 e mais algumas surpresas inéditas que só serão vividas por quem estiver no show, acrescenta Rico Dalasam!

EB 4.0: Believer. Mover. Giver. Lover. Forever. (Part 1)

Long before noontime shows, it was in the 60′s when Student Canteen pioneered the trend of variety shows of Philippine TV. The show anchored by the legendary Eddie Ilarde became a fixture for the viewers of ABS DZAQ Channel 3 back then.

Right after the 1972 Martial Law era, the Jalosjos family of politicians and businessmen set-up shop. Then came VST & CO, which has been one of the successful OPM icons in the 70′s, and even Joey De Leon started to dominate the 70′s through his shows on IBC-13 since he was one of those affected by the Martial Law when he was still working at ABS-CBN as a radio DJ.

The triumvirate of Tito & Vic Sotto and Joey De Leon started to plan out for a variety show. It was Joey coined the idea for the words ‘Eat!’ and ‘Bulaga!’ (Lunchtime and Surprise). Production Specialists, Inc, and RPN-9 teamed up for a winning concept. On July 30th, 1979, at noontime, a Variety Show was born named Eat...Bulaga!. It aired LIVE from LS 1 of RPN-9 along the old Broadcast City complex. During the early years, it started to just compete with Student Canteen, and even the trio didn’t pay their talent fees from the producers.

The early 80′s became a leap and bound for the show. They are in danger of cancelling the show due to lack of advertisers. But the arrival of Mr. Macho segment became a boost to the show’s ratings. It also took over its production to Antonio P. Tuviera’s Television And Production Exponents, Inc (TAPE). The show isn’t complete without a theme song. So it was Vincent Dy Buncio and Pancho Oppus composed the song, while Vicente Sotto III provided the music, and Homer Flores arranged the theme song in which the now-famous theme song has a recognizable first line that goes: ‘Mula Aparri Hanggang Jolo’, and it changed its lyrics to ‘Mula Batanes Hanggang Jolo’. The theme song launched in 1982, along with the launch of its nationwide telecast of the show from the Folk Arts Theatre.

Then came 1984, Eat Bulaga started to realize its ‘Habang May Bata, May Eat Bulaga’ slogan with the birth of Little Miss Philippines. It was one of the longest-running segments of the show that produced from child stars to successful careers including Ice Seguerra (formerly Aiza Seguerra), Julie Ann San Jose, Jessa Zaragosa, Gladys Reyes-Sommeroux, Pauleen Luna, and Ryzza Mae Dizon.

After RPN-9 is in dire of sequestering to the Government, Tuviera had to negotiate with ABS-CBN and it all accepted. In 1989, Eat Bulaga moved to ABS-CBN on February 18, 1989, along with 2 other TAPE-produced dramas Agila and Coney Reyes on Camera, as well as Okay Ka Fairy Ko (which M-Zet productions of Vic Sotto continued the series after its takeover from TAPE). It had a pilot episode at the Araneta Coliseum entitled ‘Eat Bulaga: Moving On!’

It also turned 10 years on the airwaves that time, also at the same venue few months later.

By 1994, ABS-CBN had to acquire the show, but TAPE rejected the deal, and it had to leave the network, alongside Valiente, another TAPE-produced drama series, but Coney Reyes On Camera retained on the network under their own CAN Television (under Constancia Angeline Nubla, her own name).

During January 1995, GMA Network finally had a home for Eat Bulaga after a landmark blocktime agreement signing was held at the Makati Shangri-La, attended by all of the hosts, TAPE and GMA execuitives. A series of plugs were aired on the network (including Totoo ang Sie7e) although they were still busy for the 1995 World Youth Day celebration in Manila where GMA was the host broadcaster and it covered for the visit of Pope (now Saint) John Paul II.

On January 28, 1995, ‘Eat Bulaga: The Moving’ was aired at the same venue (Araneta Coliseum) as the show’s pilot episode on GMA-7. This was became GMA’s prime program in the noontime slot after their failed noontime show experiments that were rivals of the show before: Lunch Date and SST: Salo-Salo Together.

From the debut in 1979, Eat Bulaga’s studios weren’t permanent before. It was at Broadcast City complex and Celebrity Sports Plaza both in Diliman, Quezon City. (CSP was also the temporary studios during their stay at RPN, ABS-CBN, and GMA), ABS-CBN Studio 1 (now Dolphy Theatre) during the 90′s for their regular broadcasts and special episodes were taped at Studio 2, and later on at the Broadway Centrum in New Manila, Quezon City which had been their home from September 16, 1995 to December 1, 2018. And now, on their permanent home at the APT Studios along Marcos Highway, Brgy. Halang, Cainta, Rizal that took almost half-a-decade to construct the almost P1-Billion state-of-the-art studio facility.

Watch Dogs Headcanons - Animal Quirks/ Symbolisms.

Feels like I'm writting a newspaper but nah, just more delulu Aiza journal 😭

Anyways!! Remember when I said I had Headcanons of giving my fav characters animal refs/ symbolisms? Well... Decided to do that today! 🥳

So lemme start with the list! First gonna do with some of the characters from WD1 that got most of my attention/ are more well-known. ( PS: trigger warning for people with Arachnophobia when arriving at Clara's part? Is right under Aiden's, skip if you so wish)

Aiden Pearce - Gray Fox. (Urocyon cinereoargenteus)

Ok, this one is basically common knowledge since we all know that's where his damn nickname comes from lol.

Aiden has a lot of paralels with Gray Foxes, from the round faces, to climbing skills to hunting abilities!

Foxes in general represents Cunniness, Witt, a Sharp Mind and a Dubious Morality with it's Trickstery Nature. However, Gray Foxes represent neutrality, a symbol of maturity, but also sadness and indecisiveness... That sounds familiar, does it? It fits Aiden's description awfully well!

For my HC of his mannerism:

- When Aiden was younger, he used to climb trees all the time back at Belfast. His mom used to yell at him afraid he would fall. ( Wich he did. A lot actually.)

- Like a fox, he has great hearing, detecting easily when people are approaching by.

- He loves fruit (He likes Strawberry Shortcake and Banana Cake) and meat! Although he rarely has time to cook for himself and relies heavily on fast food, he is an enjoyer of chicken and hare meats!

- When Aiden manages to sleep without stress (in very rare occasions), he tend to sleep curled up under his sheets without noticing.

- He has a strong smell. When not because of his constant exercises running after criminals, is because of his wooden deodorant + his trench coat of leather. lol

(Like even after showering, his smell is not bad, just strong than usual.)

- His face is secretly very sensible. If he shaves his face and gets touched their somehow, he'll shiver and recoil bc that's a VERY sensitive face. Even with his stubbles, he can easily feel the texture and touch of someone on his cheeks, like a fox with it's whiskers. 🥺

Clara Lille - Trapdoor Spider! (Liphistius malayanus)

This one is also, once again, common knowledge! I mean, she's called like that in game- lol

Our dear Badboy17, the tattoo girlboss herself, it's pretty obvious where the spider parallels go with Clara: Her lethality, how she work in the dark, carefully using the web in her favor... But is there more to it? 🤔

Spiders represent the Resilience, Unseen Danger and the Connectedness.

All those meanings fit Clara perfect: She's connected to many things, Aiden, the Club, Dedsec... She works in the dark corners, weaving her web of connections and the benefits she can get of it. Similarly, she is an unseen danger, a person that can discover everything about others without them even suspecting, and using that against them... But she's also Resilient. Despite her connections and actions, she weaved her own path to redemption on helping Aiden, to try to fix her mistake and make amends for her past actions... And much like a spider, she was easily killed, because while Spiders are easy to disappear from our sight, people won't think twice about killing them if they're considered a "threat" to them...

For my HC of her mannerisms:

- Clara is excelent with handscraft: Eletronics, Art, Sewing... She's great at anything that requires hand work since she's very precise and perfectionist.

- She's into Urban Exploration! She loves to find dark, abandoned and hidden places left in urban areas, specially if they have some connection to Blume as a bonus.

- One of her favorite foods is Sushi! Is quick, pratical and she just like fishes. (One of Trapdoor Spiders prey 🥰)

- Is not afraid of insects but doesn't like them at all, will either kill or try to take them away from the place, if the insect is harmless.

- Clara has pretty good instinct, mostly reflex in near-body combat, but she rarely displays them since she rarely needs to fight someone nowdays or is caught offguard by gunned opponents.

- She is a solitary person, in the sense that she stays hidden in her little corner and rarely gets out with others, aside for working at the tatto studio she works on. :')

Jordi Chin - Korat Cat. (Felis Catus)

This one was suggested by @paul-poppy-art but I think everyone here agrees Jordi gives major cat energy. XD

Our favorite Fixer is funny, odd and sarcastic lovable sociopathic asshole and we all know it, but saying out loud, that does fit the description of a cat! 😂

Cats are hunters, and their symbolism is mostly tied to Indenpendence, Inteligence and Mystery, this fits Jordi perfect.

A man that works indenpendely, his only criteria is who pays more, wich will be more advanteging to him. An Inteligent and calculative killer that always has a plan in mind and a mysterious person whose' past we know nothing about! Still, he stays by Aiden's side and display his affection in a more non-verbal way (like a cat lol)

For my HC of his mannerisms:

- He has a pretty light walking, you can't hear him comming behind you... Wich is either very dangerous or annoying, depending on your situation.

- Jordi is incredibly sensitive to his surroundings and always knows what is happening around him. You can't surprise him, you simply can't.

- When not working, he tends to stay layed down or sit a lot, like a "big lazy cat". lol

- Is a clean freak. Likes to keep all his work and himself the most well-presented her can. He absolutely despite Aiden's lack of self-care. 😭

- Has extremily good reflexes and flexibility, if he gets to you, you're Fcked. (proof is at WD2)

- Is not a verbal type of guy to express his feelings, but more of the type of doing small gestures to the people he cares for. He brings them food as one of his love languages.

(Kinda like when a cat brings a bird at home to "feed their human". lol)

T-Bone Grady - Bearded Collie Dog. (Canis Lupus Familiaris)

Now is turn for the legendary Hacker Dilf himself!! 🥳

Honestly T-Bone was both easy and hard because well... His name. XD

I struggled a Lot with what race he could be, but looking a bit up, I think Bearded Collie would fit like a glove! For his character design, mostly. 😂

Dogs symbolism is tied to Loyalty, Fidelity, Alertness and Protection.

We see this a lot on T-Bone, he won't hesitate to attack to defend himself, although to his friend's he's loyal and always watch over them and their safety.

(Him trying to reach Aiden to alert him in the Bad Blood DLC) and of course, him always being in alert for Fixers after him.

My personal HCs for his mannerisms:

- Will occasionally pace around or throw/ destruct somethings if too stressed.

- Spend a lot of time on his hair and beared, and tends to let some hair strings behind.

(like a true big furred dog lol)

- Like the Bearded Collie breed, T-Bone doesn't usually "bark", he bites first.

- Can't really stay inside for too long, gets easily bored and just generally hates being idly by.

- Is curious and enjoys a challenge, this old a-hole will take anything to unlock areas/ information that no one else has access to.

- Will always be around the people he cares for, like, physically. He follows/ stays around his friends like a dog with his owner. 😭

(Shows much more Physical Display of Affection out of the main Trio tbh)

Nicole Anne Pearce - Bumblebee. (Bombus)

HEAR ME OUT OK? The patterns on her shirt and her color palette reminded me so much of a Bumblebee! 😭

They're so chonky and floofy! Tell me Nicky ain't cute like them? 🥺🥹

Bumblebees symbolises Hardwork, Productivity, New Beginings and the Importance of a Community! I think those describes Nicole very well!

She's a hard-working single mother providing for her child(ren), her job as an Event Planner reminds me of the systematic work system of bees! Her community (family) is extremily important to her and she fought for their best... Unfortunetly, she had to re-start her life after everything that happened in WD, so all the animal symbolisms fit her character very well. :')

My personal HC for her mannerisms:

- She has the habit of "hum" while working, doing chores or running errands.

(Like the buzz of a bee lol)

-Nicky loves flowers but she doesn't have a garden since she rarely has time to dedicate to it. :')

-She loves honey! And she used to eat a lot of honey-made when she was a kid! 🥰

- Woman can't stay still, she's always moving around trying to do things: Chores, return calls, etc. Aiden used o joke she was "too much of a busy bee".

- She has a pretty characteristic floral smell. Almost all her house smell likes a garden, always with a floral hint in the air.

(Aiden used to find it comforting whenever he visited her and the kids.)

And that's it for today!! There are still missing some other characters from WD1 I still wanted to correlate to animal symbolisms, but this already long af 🥲

I'll (MAYBE) post a part II about the other characters I wanted to associate + another part talking about WD2 characters and their animal symbolisms I Headcanon them with 🥰
