𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟖. The Press Association issued a photograph of Lena and announced that she was going to become the youngest person ever to top the bill at the London Palladium, an honour previously held by Helen Shapiro.

𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟖. The Evening Times wrote about Lena appearing at the London Palladium. They also asked why BBC Scotland missed out on entering Lena for The Golden Seaswallow of Knokke.

𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟗. The Fenland Advertiser reported that Lena had given Oxfam one of her stage costumes for an auction in aid of the Vietnamese boat people.

𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟎. In the Liverpool Echo The Pembroke Halls, Walkden (South of Bolton) mentioned that Lena would be appearing soon.

𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟐. Lena cancelled her role in Sunday night at the Blackpool Opera House due to ill health, also on the bill were; Aker Bilk, plus comedian Bob Carolgees and Paul Squire. The Bachelors stood in for her.

I hope you like these ones! It was challenging to think of ones both instrumental and travelling. The Into The Wild Soundtrack has some really interesting tracks on it which are great for a travelling vibe! If you like ‘world’ music, then I super recommend Fatoumata Diawara, Victor Deme, Zoufris Maracas - those are great to listen to when travelling!
