so. i modded my quest 3 vr headset to use the vive deluxe audio strap for audio, and it is ... definitely in need of an amp. im thinking of making a custom thing that does A Lot:tm: of stuff for making the quest 3 more usable, specifically what i want is:
amplify audio/give you an EQ for audio for using third-party audio setups and letting you tweak it all you want (ie. off-ear audio for more open sounding audio. you know how some people use open-ear headphones? same type of thing.)
powering the amp via the headset if no battery is connected/battery is dead, but if one is connected, power the amp via that and use it as extra battery for the quest as well to extend battery life
pass through power for charging the quest and secondary battery
pretty much it'd let me use the deluxe audio strap for a more comfortable VR setup and better audio, as well as optionally use an extra battery to make it all last longer.
