JUNK
Tumblr media
Last year, as I was walking out of my showing of Ayad Akhtar's The Who and The What, I commented to my partner “This guy could write about anything, and I would watch it.” When the season launch party came around the following spring, I bit my tongue as they announced that Ayad’s new show was about junk bonds in the 80s. I don’t know anything about regular bonds, much less about these “junk” bonds… was this going to live up to Disgraced and The Who and The What?
It didn’t live up to either
It exceeded.
JUNK is a fantastic, visionary work that feels like a movie acted out in live-action. The very first thing that swept me off my feet before the actors even took the stage was the lighting work. There is no easy way to explain what this feels like. The precision projection and immaculate lighting work, under the direction of Thom Weaver, is nothing short of watching a blockbuster on stage.
Of course, the cast does take the stage. JUNK features one of the largest cast the Quadracci theater has ever housed, an astounding twenty-two players make up the life within this 1982 financial thriller. Gregory Linington delivers a killer performance as Robert Merkin, the fast-rising financial alchemist at the center of our story. He is compelling as a businessman, a father, and as a mastermind of junk bond. He is supported by an outstanding cast including Jonathan Wainwright as Borris Pronski, James Ridge as Thomas Everson, and Rachel Sledd as Amy Merkin.
The story is a beautifully woven tale within the distant, usually confusing realm of business finance.  It manages to be charming as well as informative as the characters speak back and forth about loans and stocks and other things that usually go right over my head. Ayad kills it again by taking a world not often accessible to the average person and opening in the most interesting way to us.
The show runs now through February 17th in the Quadracci Theater, and tickets are going fast. Get them while you can here.
Until the next show,
A.

HOT NEW RELEASE
COME BACK TOMORROW by Amy Argent is LIVE!
#1ClickHere
https://books2read.com/comebacktomorrow
Looking for an unforgettable novel like Me Before You or The Fault in Our Stars but with a silver lining? Then Come Back Tomorrow is your next angsty romance must-read.
William Everson, Jr. is young, he's dying of terminal cancer, and he's all alone. I meet him through my mission to befriend terminal cancer patients with no visitors, but it takes me much longer to meet "Will" and to learn anything about his family, his friends, and why he has a DNR order in place.
"Can I come back tomorrow?"
That's always my question at the end of our visits.
When it becomes his question—“Will you come back tomorrow?”—it changes both of us forever. Will’s given up on life; I won’t let him go without a fight. But is what we share enough to make Will rethink any of his choices . . . before it’s too late?
Come Back Tomorrow follows the heart-wrenching journey through illness to the very edge of life and to the critical decision that must be made: accept your fate or fight with everything you have.
Come Back Tomorrow is the first book of the Embrace Tomorrow Duet.

National Indigenous Peoples Day goes virtual amid pandemic restrictions
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Organizers of a major Indigenous festival in Ottawa considered postponing or cancelling it entirely after COVID-19 restrictions meant they couldn’t gather in person.
But as an anti-racism movement swept the country, bolstered by news of Indigenous deaths during police interactions, Trina Simard said it only affirmed their decision to take the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival online.
“I can’t speak for everybody but for me it’s part of what drives me about this education,” the festival producer and executive director of Indigenous Experiences said.
“It’s more than a festival, it’s our cultural and community connection and it’s really that one time of year where we get to share and celebrate with our neighbours who we are. I think that’s the first step in reconciliation.”
The Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival wraps up three weeks of events and activities Sunday on National Indigenous Peoples Day. It’s among many Indigenous organizations across the country finding ways to celebrate amid restrictions at a time when they say it’s especially important to do so.
Adaptation has meant mailing food kits to participants in a virtual traditional cooking workshop, Simard said. And the festival has partnered with the Social Distancing Powwow Facebook group to host its performers and others, with finalists competing Sunday.
The Facebook group has almost 200,000 members since its creation in mid-March as a platform for dancers to dance, vendors to recoup their losses and recreate a sense of community online.
Virtual powwow participants this week have posted videos in full regalia in front of backdrops of oceans, mountains and fields across North America.
Belle Bailey, 19, posted her dance from Meath, Ont. She is an Alongquin from the First Nation of Pikwakanagan.
In her video, she wears her favourite regalia honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and has a hand print across her mouth, painted in red, the colour believed to be visible from the spirit world.
“My hope is that their spirits find peace dancing with me,” she says in her post. “Since I can’t dance in the Sacred Circle of my home traditional Powwow this year, I’m still dancing with my moccasins on the grass where I can smell the cedars and pines.”
Bailey’s mother Holly John said in an interview the celebration of Indigenous culture shouldn’t be limited to National Indigenous Peoples Day.
“We do celebrate the one day but it should be integrated into Canadian history, not just a one-day celebration,” John said.
Bailey recently spoke in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement at a rally this month.
“I felt like I knew where they were coming from because as an Indigenous woman you have gone through what they’ve gone through and you know how they’re feeling,” she said.
In Montreal, Land In Sights is still organizing a fire ceremony for National Indigenous Peoples Day. Beginning at sunrise, a Mohawk elder will preside over the ceremonial, which will be webcast, a release says.
“Montrealers are invited, at that time, to open their computer and their window and to burn some tobacco in order to participate in this propitietary rite which is intended to herald better times,” the release says.
Artists and personalities from Aboriginal communities will share recorded messages of hope and healing addressed to Montreal and the country. Programs shot during the 2019 Montreal First Peoples Festival will also be broadcast.
On the east coast of Vancouver Island, more than a dozen dancers and musicians gathered on a sandy stretch of beach under the sun. The Kumugwe Cultural Society and Dance Group recorded a video circulated this weekend in honour of the day.
Hereditary chief Negedzi, whose English name is Rob Everson, said the song was passed on to his younger brother in the early 80s by his late grandfather, Chief Andy Frank of the K’omoks First Nation.
“We’ll use that dance to cleanse or bless the place that we’re dancing,” he said.
This is the first time in 20 years since the group’s formation that they haven’t spent the day performing in the local big house for hundreds of people and sharing traditional meals.
“This is totally different,” Negedzi said.
Although the group won’t be able to share their culture together locally Sunday, he said the video may mean the group reaches new audiences in its efforts to promote a better understanding of Indigenous ways.
This report by The Canadian Press was first published June 21, 2020.

Initiative CEO calls out Fb, says he's advising purchasers to tug advertisements – Advertising and marketing Land
Mat Baxter, CEO of the advert company Initiative, used his LinkedIn profile on Wednesday to criticize Fb over its newest consumer information scandal. Baxter known as Fb’s conduct “egregious” and mentioned he was advising purchasers to remain off the platform. In all of Fb’s consumer information privateness and safety points this yr, the CEO is without doubt one of the first main advert executives to say his company would advise purchasers to not promote on the platform.
What prompted the remark? Baxter’s LinkedIn submit was in response to the New York Instances report on Tuesday that Fb had shared extra consumer information than beforehand disclosed with the likes of Apple, Amazon, Microsoft’s Bing, Netflix, Spotify and extra. Baxter’s LinkedIn submit drew 262 likes and greater than 60 feedback. Some commenters cheered on Baxter for taking a stand, whereas different trade professionals pushed again. One social media account director commented that it could be, “… completely detrimental to a model to not promote with Fb.”
The Wall Road Journal known as extra consideration to Baxter’s LinkedIn submit the next day when it ran a function in its CMO As we speak part highlighting the CEO’s name for extra marketer’s to take a stand towards Fb.
A spokesperson for IPG, the mum or dad firm of Initiative, advised the Wall Road Journal that Baxter’s feedback weren’t an official assertion from IPG’s community or firm, and gave the next assertion from IPG CEO Michael Roth: “We glance to all media platforms to be clear about their utilization of shopper information and can proceed to work carefully with our media companions, together with Fb, to make sure we’ve got the perfect data when advising our purchasers on a case-by-case foundation as to how greatest to take a position their media budgets.”
Responses from entrepreneurs. Following the New York Instances report, media consumers advised Advertising and marketing Land Fb’s information offers wouldn’t influence promoting investments on the platform. In Advertising and marketing Land’s report on Wednesday, Aimclear founder Marty Weintraub mentioned his digital company purchasers cared extra about efficiency advertising and marketing outcomes than Fb’s authorized kerfuffles.
“Choices as to our media spend combine and Fb have solely to do with possible advertising and marketing outcomes,” Weintraub advised Advertising and marketing Land. In response to our report, Advertising and marketing Land did hear some consternation from entrepreneurs, however nobody admitted they have been they have been pulling advert {dollars} from Fb or advising purchasers to take action.
Tony Verre, VP of eCommerce at The Integer Group in Dallas, mentioned Baxter’s stance on advising purchasers to not promote on Fb was a commendable gesture, and he want to see different world media companies would observe swimsuit. However he additionally mentioned however believes companies have a duty to do what greatest for his or her purchasers.
“As true a ethical and moral a stance as it’s, Baxter and Initiative have a fiduciary duty, for my part, to offer company for his or her purchasers to maximise advert {dollars} and income,” mentioned Verre, “Till customers start to maneuver off of Fb, till customers reject the platform’s misbehavior, mismanagement, and malfeasance, different media companies will proceed to feed it as a result of, because the saying goes, that’s the place the cash is.” (As a companion within the Omnicom community, The Integer Group is 100 % engaged in Fb campaigns mentioned Verre. And whereas he’s not instantly concerned any any Fb advert campaigns presently, he has managed a Fb marketing campaign as lately as September.)
Verre factors out Baxter didn’t point out how Initiative is the worldwide media company for Amazon — an organization that, in keeping with the New York Instances report, was one of many Fb companions given entry to consumer information that benefited from Fb information sharing insurance policies.
“Will Baxter even be dropping Amazon as a shopper and never spending advert {dollars} there? Whereas Fb is the straightforward goal — the massive, dangerous monster — Baxter and Initiative dropping Amazon as a shopper would actually present his dedication, no?” requested Verre.
Fb’s response. In response to Baxter’s LinkedIn submit, Fb’s VP of worldwide advertising and marketing options Carolyn Everson advised the Wall Road Journal Fb was targeted on educating customers about privateness choices. She gave a touch upon the corporate’s relationship with Initiative parent-company IPG: “Daily we work hand in hand with our promoting companions to assist them develop their companies and higher serve their prospects. Now we have a powerful partnership with IPG companies world wide and look ahead to that persevering with for years to come back.”
Fb was fast to reply to the New York Instances report when it broke on Tuesday, claiming it had executed nothing fallacious.
“To be clear: none of those partnerships or options gave corporations entry to data with out folks’s permission, nor did they violate our 2012 settlement with the FTC,” wrote Fb’s director of developer platforms and applications, on the corporate’s information weblog.
Why you must care. Baxter’s feedback are getting consideration as a result of he is without doubt one of the few high advert executives to talk out instantly towards Fb for its continued mismanagement of consumer information. It’s uncommon that you simply discover an advert company CEO — particularly one which represents the likes of LEGO, Unilever, Victoria’s Secret and Revlon — prepared to go so far as Baxter has by advising purchasers to not promote on Fb.
It’s tough to find out what’s going to “sway the lots” when it comes to trade leaders talking out towards Fb, an organization that has lengthy been a vital income driver for 1000’s of advert companies. In 2017, manufacturers have been prepared to go away YouTube over model security measures, and plenty of spoke up — together with Unilever CMO Keith Weed. However that was a distinct state of affairs as YouTube was inserting manufacturers entrance and heart of extremist content material.
Fb information privateness points should not posing a direct risk to manufacturers. In actual fact, it’s the alternative — Fb’s administration of consumer data advantages manufacturers and companies alike as a result of it permits for the extremely focused advert practices that ship unparalleled outcomes for advertisers. However, if increasingly more trade leads push again, and truly do pull promoting {dollars}, then there doubtlessly may very well be a counting on the advert aspect of Fb’s enterprise. The catch-22 right here is whether or not or not advertisers will go towards their enterprise goals to take an ethical stand towards Fb’s consumer information insurance policies.

45: Weekly Trek
Star Trek and Repertory Theatre.
Compared with other science fiction shows, Star Trek has always been remarkably versatile, capable of rapidly switching genres, from romantic comedy one week to courtroom drama the next. For the actors hired to play given roles—sometimes for seven years or more—a similar versatility is required. This is perhaps most striking when they are called on to portray a character who other than the one to which their name is tied in the credits. This could be an ancestor, a Holodeck invention, a counterpart from the Mirror Universe, or even a dreamworld alter-ego such as Benny Russell. But for British actors of a certain vintage—Patrick Stewart among them—these challenges are nothing new. Thanks to the traditional repertory system, which would see a cast of players perform a completely new show every week, from Shakespeare to Noel Coward and beyond, these actors are always ready to step into another skin.
In this special Primitive Culture roundtable, recorded during the Destination Star Trek convention in Birmingham, UK, hosts Duncan Barrett and Clara Cook are joined by guests old and new to discuss the parallels between Star Trek and the old repertory system. We discuss the peculiar challenges faced by Star Trek actors and why the shows have traditionally favored those with a background in theatre, and share some of our own favorite episodes in which the regular cast take on new roles.

Even poop emojis gets plenty of heated debate for change
Emojis are those things we take for granted and they seem to evolve without us even noticing. We just see something news comes along and gleefully use it to express ourselves when 280 characters on Twitter just can't cut it. No one would think that the evolution of a new emoji could be such a hard process with plenty of heated debates about if they're actually needed. We have a smiling pile of poop. What about one that’s sad? There’s loaf of bread and a croissant. But where’s the sliced bagel? How can our emotional vocabulary be complete without a teddy bear, a lobster, a petri dish or a tooth? These are the kind of questions that trigger heated debates and verbal bomb tossing — or at least memos with bursts of capital letters — among members of the group burdened with deciding which new emojis make it onto our phones and computer screens each year. And now more people are getting in on the act. The Unicode Consortium is tasked with setting the global standard for the icons. It’s a heady responsibility and it can take years from inspiration — Hey, why isn’t there a dumpling? — to a new symbol being added to our phones. That’s because deciding whether a googly-eyed turd should express a wider range of emotions is not the frivolous undertaking it might appear to be. Picking the newest additions to our roster of cartoonish glyphs, from deciding on their appearance to negotiating rules that allow vampires but bar Robert Pattinson’s or Dracula’s likeness, actually has consequences for modern communication. Not since the printing press has something changed written language as much as emojis have, says Lauren Collister, a scholarly communications librarian at the University of Pittsburgh. “Emoji is one-way language that is growing,” she says. “When it stops growing and adapting, that’s when a language dies.” Growing and adapting doesn’t seem like an issue for emojis. The additions for 2017 included gender-neutral characters, a breastfeeding woman and a woman in a hijab. For better or worse, the expanding vocabulary has given us an emoji movie, emoji short story contests and books written in emoji — someone translated “Moby Dick” into “Emoji Dick.” In 2015, Oxford Dictionaries declared the “face with tears of joy” emoji its word of the year. New York’s Museum of Modern art has added the original emoji set to its permanent collection. Apple’s pricey iPhone X lets you send animojis, animated emojis that mimic your facial expressions and speak in your voice. HOW DID WE GET HERE? These tiny pictographs became a part of our online language with the ascent of cellphones, getting their start in Japan in 1999 — “emoji” combines the Japanese words for “picture,” or “e″ (pronounced “eh”), and “letters,” or “moji” (moh-jee). At first, there were just 176: simplistic, highly pixelated icons such as a heart, a soccer ball and a rocking horse. Today there are more than a thousand. Because none are taken away, their number only keeps growing. “Long after you and I are dust in the wind there will be a red wine emoji,” said Mark Davis, the co-founder and president of Unicode Consortium who also works at Google. Anyone can propose an emoji. But for it to make it to phones and computers, it has to be approved by Unicode. The nonprofit group, mostly made up of people from large tech companies like Apple, Google and Facebook, translates emoji into one standard, so that a person in France, for example, can send an emoji or a text message to a person in the U.S. and it will look the same, no matter what brand of phone or operating system they use. From the proposals to the design, a bevy of rules govern emojis. To submit a proposal to Unicode, you must follow a strict format, in writing, that includes your emoji’s expected usage level, whether it can be used as an archetype, a metaphor for a symbol (a pig face, for example, can mean more than the face of a pig and represent gluttony). There are many reasons for exclusion, too. Emojis can’t be overly specific, logos or brands, specific people (living or dead) or deities. A swastika wouldn’t be approved either. Each year, a new version of the Unicode Standard is released. This year we got Unicode 10.0, which adds 8,518 characters, for a total of 136,690. It added the bitcoin symbol, a set of 285 Hentaigana characters used in Japan and support for languages such as Masaram Gondi, used to write Gondi in Central and Southeast India. And then there’s the dumpling. AN EMOJI TAKES SHAPE Back in August 2015, journalist and author Jennifer 8. Lee was texting with her friend Yiying Lu, the graphic designer behind the iconic “fail whale” illustration that used to pop up when Twitter’s network was down. It dawned on Lee that there was no dumpling emoji. “There are so many weird Japanese food emoji,” she said, but she didn’t understand how there could be no dumpling. After all, dumplings are almost universal. Think about it — ravioli, empanada, pierogi, potsticker — all dumplings. The process took almost two years, including research, many meetings and a written, illustrated proposal that reads a bit like an academic paper, complete with research on dumpling history and popularity. But thanks largely to her efforts, the dumpling emoji was added to the Unicode Standard this year. And as part of her dumpling emoji lobbying, Lee decided to join the Unicode Consortium. It was an eye-opener. When she showed up at her first quarterly meeting of the Unicode Emoji Subcommittee, she expected a big auditorium. Instead, it was just a conference room. Most people there, she said, were “older, white male engineers,” from the big tech companies. The debates are as esoteric as they are quirky. Should “milk” be in a glass or a carton or a bottle? Pancake or pancakes? Many of the emoji decision-makers are engineers or have linguistic backgrounds, she said, but very few are designers, which can mean limitations on how they think about the images. As part of their efforts to diversify emojis, Lee and Lu founded Emojination, a group promoting “emoji by the people, for the people.” While it all started with a dumpling, the group also helped other food, clothing, science and animal emoji, including the woman in the hijab, the sandwich and the fortune cookie. Emojination has worked with companies like China’s Baidu, GE and the Finnish government to help them submit emoji proposals. WHAT MAKES THE CUT But when they proposed the frowning poop, they met with some resistance. “Will we have a CRYING PILE OF POO next? PILE OF POO WITH TONGUE STICKING OUT? PILE OF POO WITH QUESTION MARKS FOR EYES? PILE OF POO WITH KARAOKE MIC? Will we have to encode a neutral FACELESS PILE OF POO? As an ordinary user, I don’t want this kind of crap on my phone,” wrote Michael Everson, a linguist, typographer, in a memo to the Unicode Technical Committee. Another member, typographer Andrew West, wasn’t happy with a proposal for a sliced bagel emoji. “Why are we prioritizing bagel over other bread products?” he wrote. Clearly, he is not a New Yorker. Got an idea for an emoji and are willing to fight for it? It’s not too late to submit one for the class of 2019. As for 2018, stay tuned. We’ll know in a few months which ones made the cut. And while there’s a desire to be funny and quirky, the diversity of emojis is a real issue. Amy Butcher, whose 2015 essay prompted Google to propose emojis to represent women as professionals— and not just brides and polished nails — thinks there’s more work to do. The Ohio Wesleyan University professor would like to see interracial couples and human in a wheelchair to represent a disabled person, rather than the wheelchair icon one might see on a bathroom door. “These tiny, insignificant images begin to create an everyday narrative, and it’s deeply problematic that one might consistently find their identity or demographic lacking, or pigeonholed, or altogether absent,” she said.

Affinities or The Weight of Cinema
National Gallery of Art, Washington DC, January 6-14, 2018
The idea behind Affinities or The Weight of Cinema derives from Goethe’s classic 1809 novel Elective Affinities. The project, playfully adapting Goethe’s artistic-scientific theory of attractions to the practice of exhibiting experimental cinema, is presented in person by filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson and curator Greg de Cuir Jr, who serve as co-curators. Eight programs of international works of film and video art are arranged along various thematic lines that correspond to their shared interests and concerns. Additional screenings will be presented at the National Museum of African American History & Culture. With thanks to Kevin Jerome Everson, Greg de Cuir Jr, Jon Goff and Rhea Combs of the National Museum of African American History & Culture, Madeleine Molyneaux, and all the artists involved. Additional information about the programs is available at www.nga.gov/film
An Affinity for Witnessing
Sat Jan 6 (2:00)
Kelly Gallagher in person
Works assembled for this program explore the idea of bearing testament, the notion that visible evidence is as necessary for the experimental impulse in cinema as it is for the documentary urge. Titles include Ears, Nose and Throat (Everson, 2016), Perfect Film (Ken Jacobs, 1986), Shoot, Don’t Shoot (William E. Jones, 2012), and From Ally to Accomplice (Kelly Gallagher, 2015). Total running time 55 minutes.
An Affinity for the Interval
Sat Jan 6 (4:00)
Claudrena Harold in person

Cinematically, the interval can refer not only to durational elements (how long a work is), but also to the space it creates. Trinh T. Minh-ha posits that the interval can be described as “what persists between the meaning of something and its truth.” Program includes Oscar at 8903 Empire (Everson, 2016), Considerations (Arthur Jafa, 1982), Bird’s Milk (Dineo Seshee Bopape, 2009), Hour Glass (Haile Gerima, 1971), Kuhani (Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, 2013), and Reassemblage (Trinh T. Minh-ha, 1982). Total running time 85 minutes.
An Affinity for Labor
Sun Jan 7 (4:00)
Akosua Adoma Owusu in person
A question commonly posed when considering labor is who benefits, and who is exploited? In this case, an alternate question might be: what sort of labor constitutes the practice of both making and viewing films? Works include Smooth Surface (Everson, 2015), Marseille après la guerre (Billy Woodberry, 2016), Intermittent Delight (Akosua Adoma Owusu, 2007), and Iseeyou (Simon Gush, 2013), among others. Total running time 40 minutes.
An Affinity for Constructivism
Sun Jan 7 (5:00)
Margaret Rorison in person
As written by its early theorists, constructivism indissolubly unites the ideological with the formal. Titles in this program offer a contemporary cinematic rendition of the term in both practice and interpretation. Included are Kino-nedelja No. 33 (Dziga Vertov, 1919), Genet parle d’Angela Davis (Carole Roussopoulos, 1970), One Document for Hope (Margaret Rorison, 2016), and We Demand (Everson and Claudrena Harold, 2016) among others. Total running time 53 minutes.
An Affinity for Color
Sat Jan 13 (2:00)
Christopher Harris in person
Color is explored in this program as a visual quality, a variance of temperatures and the ideas they signify, as well as a racial construct through which to view and know the world. Titles include Grand Finale (Everson, 2015), Feeling Seven (Tomislav Gotovac, 2000), Explosion Ma Baby (Pauline Curnier Jardin, 2016), Rainbow’s Gravity (Kerstin Schroedinger and Mareike Bernien, 2014), and Ujamii Uhuru Schule Community Freedom School (Don Amis, 1974). Total running time 58 minutes.
An Affinity for Minimalism
Sat Jan 13 (4:00)
Each of the four films assembled in this program could be characterized by reduction, achieving maximum effect through seemingly simple means: 27.12.2013 St. Louis Senegal (Friedl vom Gröller, 2014), Several Friends (Charles Burnett, 1969), Movies of Local People (Chapel Hill) (H. Lee Waters, 1939-1941), and Rams 23 Blue Bears 21 (Everson, 2017). Total running time 42 minutes.
An Affinity for the Readymade
Sun Jan 14 (4:00)
Cauleen Smith in person
While the use of found footage conjures the notion of the readymade in the visual arts, films in this program also repurpose visual and aural recordings original to the makers, to build on tradition and to attain new forms in cinema. The program features The Citizens (Everson, 2009), Nice Biscuits #2 (Luther Price, 2005), My Only Idol is Reality (Martine Syms, 2007), Our Trip to Africa (Peter Kubelka, 1966), and Sugarcoated Arsenic (Everson and Claudrena Harold, 2013). Total running time 42 minutes.
An Affinity for Collage
Sun Jan 14 (5:00)
Dirk de Bruyn in person
Assembling elements from the archive, films in this program gain shape from collision and multiplication. This particular affinity is closely related to the readymade and functions as a complication and extension of the former. Works include A Saturday Night in Mansfield, Ohio (Everson, 2015), Reckless Eyeballing (Christopher Harris, 2004), WAP (Dirk de Bruyn, 2012) and Songs for Earth and Folk (Cauleen Smith, 2013) among others. Total running time 69 minutes.
