Anyone else think that JakeHal is the peak of Homestuck ship comedy?
#he talks#they talk#homestuck#jakehal#I mean DirkJake is one of the more interesting ships because of what it says about each character and#what it says of their interactions with the people around them. It's fun to dissect character-wise and ship-wize#But somehow JakeHal is a bastardisation of DirkJake and itself a fun dissection of#what it means to be a Dirk clone and what it means to be a social coward like Jake#That Jake hates Hal for pretending to be Dirk at time as both an ironic schtick and as#a reflection on being a mirror and a totally unique character#And on Hal antagonizing Jake as being the target of his originator's affections and#also originally a romantic target for himself and also someone he just finds interest in interacting with.. frkm#a personal and a clone perspective (Hal is interesting in that way)#Like it's comedy gold and also such an interesting way to look at the world painted in Homestuck~#JakeHal is just such a fun concept (like DirkJohn but funnier/more complex. Not too different.. but yeah)
