If I had the time, money and motivation, you know I’d make one of those overly-long analytical Youtube videos on the entire Final Destination franchise
#Hayley Speaks#I have way too much to say about those stupid movies and nowhere to scream about it#Except for here I guess#But I know I could fill out eight hours of a video with my ramblings regarding the series#And how it was overall more influential to the horror genre than people realize; despite it not being as popular as say-#-the Scream franchise or other films with a well-recognized killer/monster#Probably because the killer in those films is Death itself; who remains a mostly unseen entity#And prefers to let the murdery mousetrap-esque visuals do the talking for it#Unless you're in the boat that Tony Todd's character is actually some representation of Death (a whole argument in itself)#ALSO while we all agree that the fourth one was garbage and felt the least like a film in the franchise#And more some cheesy made-for-tv horror film that relied far too much on the 3-D gimmick#There are some aspects of the writing/story that could be picked apart and studied#Also as bad as the fourth one is; it's still better than most of the later original Saw films. I SAID WHAT I SAID.#...I was hyperfixated on these movies for a few years; I have Opinions
