Washboard Wednesday - We Deserve Nice Things Edition

So, Gumdrops, what happened this season? Where were the shirtless honeymoon hijinks? The showertime chats? The waking up in the morning and discussing married things while missing pajamas? To summarize -- why did Oliver Queen wear so many damn clothes this season?!  The answer is I don’t know. Honestly. Because we give the love. We do. We appreciate him for his mind and his heart very much, but every so often, it’s nice to get to appreciate the pretty wrapping, you know?

In a word -- we was robbed. I have a good mind to address this glaring issue with David Ramsey at HVFF London. If he’s going to be directing an episode next season, I think he should be made aware of the power he wields to satisfy us - his loyal squad. And after all, he is the patron of WBW.  

You deserve pretty, my friend, so as we wait for the final episode of S6 and anticipate all of the speculation about S7, I thought you might not mind a bit of nostalgia on your dash...a reminder of those heady days when we could be inspired and enthralled. Without further ado... I tried to make the first one beautiful for you. Well, extra beautiful because...lookie...

Washboard Wednesday Returns!

I must admit that my break away from Washboard Wednesday posts ended up being longer than expected, but I am kind of glad to return to the ritual. I hate boring people with the same images all the time and at least now there has been a break so we can look at familiar abs anew. I hope that your summer has been splendid and you, like me, are excited for Season 6.

Washboard Wednesday - Hot Damn Edition

Okay, these mini-breaks from episodes kind of suck, don’t they, Rosebud? They do. Because they could simply fill those hours with Oliver working out and we would be quite happy, right? Why don’t they do that? We are nice and good and loyal and we deserve that. 

So, this week’s WW is full of fun and angsty bloody shirtlessness. And some super flashbacks as well. I just wish you could all be privy to the text conversations between @tinaday3w and I while I sought her counsel on the photos to include this week. There was one that was just a little too naughty once I unleashed a creative filter on it. Cooler heads prevailed and Mr. Man’s modesty is retained. (Yes, I can hear you all whining from here.)

Washboard Wednesday - Anticipating Greatness, Enjoying the Now Edition

Hey Spectacular Person! It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means! Oh yes. You do. Time for some especially pretty to appreciate. Abs-olutely. I am excited about tonight’s episode, which may deliver the skin we crave in some form...but I shall not jinx it by waxing on.

Washboard Wednesday Public Announcement

So, Oliver may or may not have been in a scene last night where he was not wearing a shirt. Honestly, 80% of his chest was covered. And since I am not going to create “Shoulder Saturday” or any of that nonsense, you can just assume that there will be no pretty fodder drawn from last night’s unfortunate whatever that was (I can’t call it a romp because he didn’t actually seem to be having fun). Once again though...the dude works out and then hides his light under a bushel of clothing/bedlinen. In this case, no complaints. Just letting you know. 

Next week, Man Face Monday and Washboard Wednesday, etc. will be rolled up into a Tuesday Valentine’s post. Because you deserve Valentines.

Washboard Wednesday - Wednesdays Are Okay Edition

Hellooooo people. It’s that happy day again. The one with the special pretty. Because someone worked very hard to make it all nice and lovely. And we appreciate it, don’t we? 

I hope your week is going okay. I kind of need to get in gear on my job search this week. Been lallygagging. So, once this goes out, I’m in serious mode. Yep. But until then, just a few more moments of pretty. Some straightforward and some arty. Here we go. 

tThis is a bit gritty. But it works, right?

This one. Sigh. The pants. “Holy guacamole the pants,” she panted.

Arty. But I liked how it came out. 

Okay, technically not abs, but the black and white and the back was just...I had to.

Finally, a bit experimental. But two abs are better than one. And his shoulder made kind of a heart shape for you. So..twins. Yes. 

And there you have it. Another Wednesday in January. Just making our way to the next episode. What will happen next? I have no idea. Big questions...will we see Oliver shirtless with Susan the reporter? Will we mind? Will we even notice she’s in the room? Not sure. Will I make pretty pictures from it? Damn straight, I’ll try. Man Face Monday - Oliver is (Mostly) Troubled Edition
