Aston Villa have agreed to a £ 10.75 million reimbursement with Club Brugge for Marvelous Nakamba
The international midfielder of Zimbabwe becomes Villa & # 39; s tenth signing of the summer after he has completed his medical training and obtained a work permit.
Should the relocation continue, it would take Villa & # 39; s total spending for the summer up to £ 100 million.
Marvelous Nakamba will be the tenth signing of Aston Villa in the summer
Villa manager Dean Smith and assistant John Terry have strengthened the team this summer
Nakamba had been trying to push Villa after Villa was interested last month g but the clubs struggled to agree the compensation
ASTON VILLA & SUMMER SIGNINGS
Tyrone Mings (Bournemouth, £ 26.5) m)
Wesley Moraes (Club Brugge) £ 22
Matt Targett (Southampton, £ 15m)
Ezri Konsa (Brentford, £ 12m)
Trezeguet (Kasimpasa, £ 8.75m)
Bjorn Engels (1945) Stade Reims, £ 7m)
Iota (Birmingham City, £ 4m and Player Exchange)
Kortney Hause (Wolverhampton Wanderers, £ 3m)
Anwar El Ghazi (Lille, not disclosed)
But the clubs have now reached an agreement and Nakamba is set to Villa & # 39; s second signing of Club Brugge this summer, after Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes joined last month.
Nakamba is 25 years old and is a robust defensive midfielder who has been capped by his country 13 times.
He moved to Club Brugge in 2017 from Vitesse Arnhem and the midfielder has clearly made an impression in the Belgian Pro League to attract the attention of villa manager Dean Smith and his backroom staff.
Villa was promoted from the championship after the playoffs, and has certainly made a statement with their influx of signings for the new season.
They start their Premier League campaign on August 10 in Tottenham.
