I don't know what I'm gonna do next week after the last episode of Ossan's Love Returns airs. This show makes me happy every time. It's so ridiculous and endearing.

I'm one of those weird people who has loved Buchou since the first episode of season 1. There was something about his earnestness that just won my heart. And he shines so much as a mother in law. I just love him so much. And I want him to look over Maki and Haruta forever.

Maki and Haruta are so nice to watch together. They've both grown so much. And I was moved so much when Kurosawa asked Maki is he could say 10 bad things about Haruta 🥺 Like pleaaaasseeeeeee. There's so much love aaaaahhhhhh. I might rewatch the first season again after it ends.

The humor of this show is my jam. Like a 1000%. In moments like these I realize, no matter how much I like shows from all over the world the ones from Japan will always have that extra little something for me that makes me love them to the infinity and beyond.

I cannot tell you how much this unexpected return of OL has done for me. I never thought I'd have this and I'm so happy I did. I'm so not ready to say goodbye to any of them (also please show don't kill Buchou please please please). Why can't a show last forever? 😭😭
