Takara no Vidro - Translation notes

This show is actually being subbed by furritsubs so check their subs if you want an accurate translation! I'll keep on making translation notes about the parts were gaga subs infuriate me while they come out :)

よろしくお願いします / よろしく yoroshiku onesgaishimasu / yoroshiku

My take: Nice to meet you

This is a very common greeting that, in this case, literally means "please be kind with me" but that in no way it would ever be translated as this. It can be translated in many different ways since there's no equivalent in english. For example, in the next picture I'd translate it as "Please take care of me" (since he's signing up to a hike, I think)

My take: Wow, this is refreshing

There's an emphasys on how this is a very unsual sight. For the salesman it's refreshing to see such a change of pace from Takara who probably tends to avoid people

The salesman is a lot more playful and is constantly teasing Takara and I'm mad Gaga doesn't want us to know this

My take: -Is it ok if I contact you sometimes? -Like for what?

The literal meaning in this case is not "trouble" but "something". As in, "is there's something (I want to say/that is happening/I want to show you/...)", hence why Takara asks for clarification as Taishin could be refering to a lot of things

My take: I see

Again. Can be translated in many ways. In any case, here he's understood he's not welcome

I am not particularly sure I understood this sentence correctly word for word, so it might be slightly wrong. In any case, I think he means that Taishin is an easy target for people like that. But anyone that knows better japanese than I do is welcome to correct this if I'm wrong

Weddings in Bls/Gls

I have seen a few posts (specifically by: @heretherebedork @lurkingshan @respectthepetty and @waitmyturtles) about getting special episodes with all the bl boys we love getting a wedding and I love each and every single one keep them coming.

But I would like to present Ideas for new bls, aka now that Thailand has marriage equality it open the doors to a lot of wedding releated plots,

I watched an absurd amount of het romance they are my comfort food (prior to bls that is) even the ones that thinking them over with your feminist brain they aren't all that good. So I have a lot of ideas.

Arranged Marriaged shenanigans. We already got some with Cutie Pie and Naughty Babe, but we can have more. I am not just talking our main leads are in arranged marriage. I am talking the second lead is part of the arranged marriage, the arranged marriage comes between the two leads, the rich boy's family wants him to marry rich... all kinds of goodness.

Second Chance at romance, except instead of exes they are seperated or divorced.

The above also have the varient of I am getting married to someone else and my original ex husband didn't sign the papers, or something and now I have to break up with him. The Sweet Home Alabama varient (so to speak)

A sub genre I like to call: Commintphobe meet the Ultimate Commitment. This one needs to be handle with care, because some people legit do not want to get married. But it could be fun.

Meet at wedding

I have to go to this wedding and be there 2 weeks earlier to help because I am in the wedding party and I can't go while single so I need a fake date.

Pining for a friend who is getting married.

My ex is getting married and I lied and told him I was engaged while I am single so I need a fake fiance

Married for the Benefits. This one has two variants, one is the couple that got married falls in love slowly after being married. Or two two friends got married for the benefits and now one or both met someone else and is falling in love.

Summer fling got married at the spur of the moment and now for reasons we can't divorce even if we are starting to regret it.

MY FAVORITE: Accidental Marriage, got married while drunk and now for reasons we can't immidiately divorce/annul it.

I want all the wedding plots.

My Honest Opinion:

I swear this series is one of the most underrated BL series of all times. Like why doesn't anyone talk about this series? When I first watched it, I felt like this series needed more recognition and I still believe the same.

The storyline is rather easy to understand and that is exactly what I love about this series.

I personally love this series and highly recommend watching it.

Uh I read something about Ramil and Paytai on the novel and bow I wanna read it soooo baaaaad (but, like, only after the series ends, don’t wanna crush my expectations so soon).

Comfort BL?

What's your comfort BL / A BL you will happily read over and over again for some good vibes? Personally, I really mess with anything from the artist Fujitobi. Their artstyle and storytelling is super wholesome, cute, and a nice little read if you want some fluff. I also (obviously) love Tashiro-Kun, Why Are You Like This?. They're just so incredibly silly and the art is fun and dynamic at times. I love my silly fish boy :) Also, No.6, Sasaki to Miyano, and Beryl and Sapphire are 3 animated series that I will 100% forever glaze until the day I DIE

And so he did. Making Kai whimper and moan more loudly and making him grip the bed sheets tighter than he’s has ever as he thrusted into him deeply.

For both of them, it was some kind of relief.

For Leo, he didn’t have to hold back anymore.

For Kai, he could trust his lover with not hurting him, unlike in the past with his ex…

“I’m clllooooseeee…~” Kai mumbled, he had a pretty soft voice, but Leo could somewhat understand him. He he started speeding up to help him finish.

“Ngh-“ Leo grunted.

“Aaaah!~ Mm- mm- mm- mm~ Mm!~ Mmmmmmm!~” Kai moaned.

“O-Oh god- I’m gonna-“

“AAAAAAAAHHHH!~” They both moaned out loudly as they both reached their high. Once they finally came down from it, Kai kissed Leo, “mwah” making him blush like he did.

(SO HOW WAS THAT??? Also Kai had an abusive ex husband that had left some emotional scars on him. Also Kai and Leo aren’t married(yet), just boyfriends.)
