#both sides have points and both sides have made mistakes#as a mlm YEAH i want more gender choice books and i want to appreciate mlm content#BUT we can do that without putting down women okay esp the wlw and woc in the fandom#society needs more stories that feature women and developed for women#like moty? rod? d&d? those stories wouldnt be the same if mc could be male#it wouldnt have the same nuance#on the other hand while yes there are lots of games that feature men alr they overwhelmingly cater to cishet men#we need more rep for gbt men too bc those games for cishet men... are not it#but instead of fighting each other we should be helping each other out? demanding pb treat both groups (and poc) better?#if we dont help each other out we're not gonna get what we want from pb#again i would like to reiterate that i agree with the points both sides are making BUT i dont agree with the way most of yall argue for it#specifically the way it became gbt men vs women thing#held off from saying anything abt this myself for so long bc i dont wanna be accidentally misogynistic#but god. im so tired of this discourse#mlm/wlw solidarity COME ON#also gbt men in this fandom we can do better. just bc we're gbt doesnt mean we cant be misogynistic#probably no one's gonna read all this but i had to say it. im so tired
