Throwback to my babygirl’s 1st birthday party.

We threw a small, intimate birthday party at my MIL’s house since we have yet to have our own place.

It was smooth-sailing, hassle and budget free, haha kidding. The reason why we hosted a small one was because we only wanted to celebrate her special day with the people who have been taking care of her really well, the people who really invested their time and effort and her and that, when she grew up looking back at this, she will know that we will always got her back.

Aside from that, haiqul and I dont like the idea of burdening other people — it’s a birthday party, and of course if we invite people they will feel coerced to buy her a gift or give her money. It’s NOTHING bad of course, but people have other things to do as well. So technically we are being considerate of others. And also, Inayra has plenty of toys and she is always here and there. Hence we didnt have proper storage for her to store her toys, which is why we dont expect a lot of things to be given from other people.

However, i would like to extend my gratitude who thought of Inayra — my cousins, Izzati and Azman. Thank you for thinking of her, and going the extra mile to buy for her gifts. We are really grateful, literally. May you are blessed with bountiful of rewards and blessings for making her happy. 🥰

And of course to my family, thank you for being supportive with our idea and cooked delicious food for all of us. thank you for the gifts, and of course, your efforts, time and sacrifices for taking good care of her and love her wholeheartedly. ❤️

I will ensure that Inayra will never forget you all dearly.

And to my darling bambam, i dont know when will you see this but i have lots of words to say but i dont know where to start.

When i first had you, i didnt know what to feel. I was having mix emotions as i had you unexpectedly. I was closed with expanding my dream, then you came along and i had to stop momentarily. I was sick the whole time while carrying you in me, but i was so thankful to Him and your ayah for making me at ease all the time and for giving me a healthy baby.

Then when i first held you in my arms, my goals changed and you are my dream — my key to restart my dream and my reason to achieve my goal. You were a happy and healthy baby. You are perfect in everyone’s eyes, and you are the light of ibu and ayah’s life. Hence we named you Inayra. You are the reason for us to work hard, and give you a better life. To raise you to be a better Muslimah in this sick world. No matter what happens, ibu and ayah love you for eternity. We have no regrets having you. You are beautiful in our eyes. Be as soft as Nabi Muhammad’s life companion — Aysha, hence your name.
