Rosie?

Rosie plays French Horn in my Bandpires story. She‘s less based off of french horn players and more of one specific person I know that plays french horn.

Rosie’s practical, and sweet, and will never be allowed near a stove again. Thankfully that’s not a problem for her since she’s a vampire. She can be very emotional, and hates when people lie to her. She loves to read, though over centuries of life she becomes quite fond of gardening as well. Her favorite thing to grow is bonsais.

sooo if its still up somewhere (if they ever posted it that is) you totally want to direct us to the novel length bandom fic your friend wrote you? if its private, can we at least know the band? ...you know, for reasons. ;) (can we maybe have fic recs?)

It’s up on Ao3! (To Die Will Be) An Awfully Big Adventure, by FayJay.

I am not exaggerating when I say it is one of my top two favorite bandom fics. The other one is Constructive Summer (I just call it bandpires), which is over on LJ. It is never going to be on Ao3, as the author passed away last year. 

There’s a delightful MCR/Addams Family cross-over: These Addams Men, Where Do You Find Them? (It Has To Be Damp.), which is the fic that got me into reading RPF. 

Seance Weather by dear_monday is kidfic with an Addams Family flavor, and is wholly adorable.

Something Wicked This Way Comes, also by dear_monday, is about the end of the world, occult forces tearing into reality, and is vaguely SPN flavored. 

Unholyverse by Bexless is an excellent, multi-part story involving demons, the Catholic church, and hapless tattoo artists.

Speaking of Bandom, I just watched the final two videos for the Youngblood Chronicles. No real resolution, but hey! Sir Elton covered in stage blood. So pretty much what I expected: gore, ridiculousness, and fun.

I'm a horror genre fan, so I'm vastly entertained by Fall Out Boy's "Youngblood Chronicles" videos, but I'm also completely at a loss to explain what is going on. 

(Unless, of course, you join me in crazytown with the belief that the videos are a really bonkers AU shoutout to the bandpires fic. Which would be hilarious, and mean truly out-there cameos. I doubt that's the case, alas.)
