time for another no-buy roundup off all the Things i have seen and desired the last week and a half and have (mostly) resisted actually purchasing.

first up: super pretty notecards from the craft store, all muted color florals and butterflies/moths and soooo pretty. who wants to be penpals i need an Excuse.

next, up this dress/bustier from Holy Clothing thats soooo cool and i want to become the forest witch i was meant to be... i desire Every color combo they have but the solid green or black & green probably fit my actual wardrobe best.

third, Finfolk Productions had a 50% off sale for their lose Kariel scales. i have had vague desires to sew my own sequin tail for like 6 years but i do NOT have time for that right now with grad school, plus they didn’t have the color ranges i’d need anyway, so rip.

SUPER CUTE PLANTS AND MUSHROOMS AND MOTHS AND STARS BACKPACK I LONG FOR THEE 😭 i have been using the same hiking backpack i used for high school And college And that i use for all my airport travel the last 2 years of grad school, but it’s pretty large/bulky and since its the perfect plane/travel backpack i dont wanna wear it out further by also using for school. so this smaller backpack is on my wishlist for day use going to/from campus. waiting until i am not in a no-buy to get it but this ones more of a real plan than some of the other impulses. this artist actually has SO many good designs my biggest risk is visiting their shop bc i WILL add far too much to my cart but defs recommend Looking At All The Pretties.

aaaaand anyway i did fail this month because the brand of clothing i wear most days (Blackmilk) released a new collection that’s FAIRYTALE based and i am so weak 😭 especially since some were limited designs that won’t be available next week or have already sold out. I did resist the beautiful robe with snake art on it and the velvet fairytale leggings but here’s the items that broke me:

- pink summery dress with an Arthur Rackham illustration of queen Titania from his 1908 illustrations for A Midsummer Night’s Dream

- LOOK AT THAT DOPEY DRAGON HOODIE HE’S SO PERFECT... from art by Virginia Frances Sterrett for the Tanglewood chronicles

- and the last are another Rackham illustration of Titania asleep in the forest. I have another pair of blackmilk pants in this cut and they’re SO comfy (fleece lined) and basically the fanciest sweatpants except when i wear them to lab everyone goes Wow You’re So Dressed Up instead of asking why i arrived in pajama equivalent, which is always a win

SOO definitely broke more this week than I intended. My punishment is extending the no-buy another 2 weeks into March. We’ll see how much I can keep resisting!
