Helping Hands
Often times I notice most people help others as much as they can and that's a wonderful quality to have. However they can also forget to help themselves too. It's easy to neglect yourself when life gets busy, or others are counting on you, your responsibilities pile up, I get it- from a bunny's perspective being a human looks rough! You are important too, your goals and interests are important, your health, overall well-being and happiness are important as well!

Reflection
This time we're going to do our reflection first. Take a few moments to think about ways you can help yourself. These can be ways that help you reach goals, or finish daily tasks, or even just to bring a little more happiness and comfort into your life. If you struggle with this think about ways that you help others in your life and how can you help yourself in those same ways.
Some questions to ask yourself:
🐰 What goals am I trying to reach?
💙 In what areas do I feel I need more support and how can I provide that for myself?
🐰What brings me happiness and joy?
💙 What can I do to help myself feel more organized in my daily life?
🐰 What is most important for my overall well-being?

Activity
Create your own helping hand. Put your hand on paper, you can paint your hand and stamp it onto paper or you can trace your hand, draw your hand, take a picture of your hand, get creative with it as long as it's your hand. Now think about ways in which you can help yourself. These can be simple like remembering to take your medicine, brush your teeth, eat healthier, get enough sleep, laugh more, color, cuddle your stuffies.. anything and everything that helps you in any way you'd like. These don't need to be big scary goals, these are little ways you can help yourself reach goals or just achieve a more calm and happy state of mind. Add these ways you can help yourself to your helping hand, you can paint or draw pictures, write the words, find pictures in magazines, anything you desire that represents how you can help yourself. When you're done hang this up somewhere that you'll see it often to remember small ways you can help yourself.

Cozy Corner:
This post is all about bringing extra comfort to yourself. We all get overwhelmed and we all need a little break sometimes. My Cozy Corner concept is easy.. Think about the things that bring you joy and comfort and make a little cozy area with those items. This can be anything, your favorite snacks, stuffies, toys, books, hobbies, blankies and pillows... anything that brings you happiness and a feeling of safety. You can practice nesting which is using soft materials to make a nest to cuddle into. Blankies, pillows and stuffies are perfect for this. You could even go as far as to make a whole fort for your cozy corner. It can be as simple as a comfort item and a movie/activity or as elaborate as a full on fort build. This is all up to you.

Final Thoughts:
Your cozy corner is personal to you and there is no right or wrong way to go about this activity. The whole point is to relax, have fun and bring yourself comfort when needed or wanted. Mandalas
🔵 What is a mandala?
A mandala is a piece of artwork with geometric patterns, shapes and symbols. It is often created to help reach a meditative state. What does that mean for us? It means it helps us relax! We're going to be exploring a different take on what's called a "found object mandala". This is simply a mandala created with objects you find.

Activity: Comfort Item Mandala
Find some of your favorite comfort items and arrange them in a way that pleases you. Feel free to put on some relaxing music as you do so. You can get really creative with this, most mandalas are circular but they don't have to be. Do what makes you happy! That's the whole point of this activity.

Draw yourself as a tree 🌳
First think about your strengths, accomplishments, good qualities and things about yourself that are positive and make you feel good or proud of yourself. Then think about a few simple things you'd like to change.. Now draw yourself as a tree, the trunk of the tree (or the roots if you prefer) should have your strengths, accomplishments, good qualities and positive things about yourself. In the leaves of the tree is where you put the things you want to change. If you want to take it a step further you can put a few steps you could take in the branches to help you make those changes.

There is no one way to do this exercise. Feel free to be creative and change things up. As you can see I drew a carrot and Misky drew a butterfly. The tree is just an option. Happy Drawings:
This one is super simple. Just draw something that makes you happy. It can be anything, your favorite food or toy, your happy place or a person that makes you happy. Let your imagination run wild and don't overthink it. What makes you light up when you think about it, now draw it. You don't have to be skilled at drawing it can even be a scribble to represent it. As long as it makes you happy! That's the whole point of this activity, just have fun.

Final Thoughts:
What makes you happy will be different to everybunny, whatever you choose to draw is absolutely okay! Don't stress out over how it may look, you don't ever have to show it to anyone if you don't want to. The whole point is to have fun and relax while focusing on something that brings you happiness.
