I don't miss anything by just speeding my way through DS2 to get to 3, right? Like, I didn't even see vital NPCs like Whoever-Upgrades-Embers/BossSouls. Just went through vanilla to hit 3. DS2 was kind of not-the-good, or am I weird?

Pissbabies and weak bitches bash DS2. DS2 is my personal favorite. Play the games however you want, but I’d truly take in DS2 if I were you (it’s a huge game).

The bad one is DS3, and it’s still a great game, just, the vastly inferior game in the franchise, because it’s got zero identity and terrible weapon balance, among many other things I can go on and on if given the reason to.
