My evil twin is my alibi

I am still on hiatus…kind of…I just wanted to post this draft before heading back to tumblr post hiatus

Bridgette Cheng is happy to visit her cousin in Paris.

Really, with just a pair of blue contacts, the two could be twins.

But while Marinette is naturally sweet and a fashionista, Bridgette is a wolf in sheep’s clothing who will not hesitate to bite you if you provoke her. She is actually quite popular at her school, and a mischievous prankster with a clean record of never getting caught (she is an expert at manipulating security footage). She is a lot like Megan Parker. Sweet to everyone else but an evil genius to her brothers.

When Marinette admits she is being framed by Lila and her friends don’t know who to believe, Bridgette suggests that the middle ground won’t work. Perhaps a schedule will do. Keep Lila and Marinette away from each other.

Of course Lila won’t settle for this.

Meanwhile Marinette obligés Bridgette’s request not to be mentioned. Apparently Bridgette isn’t keen on being questioned about her life in China or something like that.

When Lila knows Marinette is busy sewing or baking, she scratches herself and claims Marinette did it.

Only for the class to be confused because Marinette (Bridgette) had been with them the whole time.

Then while Marinette is hanging with her friends, Bridgette actually bullies Lila by tripping her into dog poop or pouring water on her outfit, claiming it was an accident. Not that there is anyone around to witness this, still a girl can’t be too careful.

But when Lila angrily accused Marinette, the class are still her alibi.

Lila should have been akumatized, but Bridgette happily caught an akuma and is planning to keep it as a souvenir.

Bridgette pranks escalate. Hidden joy buzzers, dead animals found in Lila’s locker, sleeping pills added to her water bottle.

Pretty soon, Ms Bustier believes Lila’s lying disease is making her act against Marinette. And her new attitude of sleeping in class or showing up to class in a mess doesn’t suit Ms Bustier. She suggests that Lila be transferred to a different class or even a new school. Dupont doesn’t need a student with a horrible record.

Lila agrees wholeheartedly. By now she is terrified of sweet Marinette. (Bridgette really scares her with that fake smile and cruel voice). No one believes her now. She is like the girl who cried wolf.

And when Lila is sent to a hospital because Marinette (Bridgette) claims she worries the school clinic won’t be able to cope with Lila’s many illnesses, the doctors give her a clean bill of health and refute her many disabilities, calling her a compulsive liar. Liar is expelled and forced to attend therapy.

Bridgette leaves Paris satisfied. She got to hang with her cousin and prank someone.

Only…someone stole her akuma souvenir!
