Ballpoint Pen Day - 10th June. In 1943 the Bíró brothers, László and György invented the ballpoint pen. The Hungarian inventors’ new pen, inspired by the quick-drying inks used by professional printers, was as remarkable as the first fountain pen had been the century before.

This particular day commemorates the ballpoint pen and marks the anniversary of the patent filing on June 10, 1943. Brothers Laszlo and Gyorgy Biro invented the#ballpointpen and obtained a patent in June of 1943.
