@Pennsylvania voters who are confused about the “pending“ on their ballot status

Text from my dad today (Sept 25, 2020) about ballot statuses:

“Just called Bucksco (Bucks County) voter registration office and listened to the long and detailed greeting message which explained in part that a status of pending means your mail in ballot application has been approved but the ballot has not yet been mailed. Apparently they’re still waiting on litigation to resolve before they can start mailing ballots but hope to do so by the end of the month. Once mailed the status will change to the sent date and they’ll email a status update.”
