Life Update - End of summer 2017

I haven’t updated you guys on the events of my life in quite a while. And I know you don’t care. But, just for the record, here’s a quick summary of what happened this summer. 

I went to Nice - France in the beginning of June, saw most of the Cote D’Azure area: Cannes, St Tropez, Eze, Nice, Monaco, Menton.. I had an amazing time with my sister and realised we are the best travel couple. 

When I came back home, my summer semester had already  started so I was back in classes, and spending my nights at our summer house in the mountain. I said goodbye to two of my friends who travelled to he states for vacation / internships. My summer semester  was a complete let down. My GPA dropped a couple of points (I will have to make them up in fall) and I learned 2 new designing programs. 

The day after I finished my finals, my family and I left for Bulgaria. We did a road trip around all of Bulgaria, stopping at the important cities. We rented a car and did the whole shabang. We went to Rila, we saw the 7 lakes during a hike (it’s also where I celebrated my 21st birthday), then off to Plovdiv, (car rented broke down in the middle of nowhere #adventure), then to Varna (I went Bunjee Jumping off of a bridge #adventure) , then off to Sofia where we spent the last 3 days. Then we got back home where I spent 3 days, after those I was back on the plane, this time to Croatia with my friends.

We landed in Dubrovnik, a crazy taxi took us to our hotel, we went Kayaking, swimming in Kolecep (one of the Elaphite islands) and walked on the walls. Next was Split, saw ruins, went on a bike ride. Next we went to zadar where we went to Plitvice National Park where we saw Waterfalls and Lakes with the clearest Blue water. After that we were of to Zagreb where we spent the last 2 days, went to a party discovered the town and its history and we went back home.

I have been home for 7 days now, and in retrospect this was one of the awesomest (I know it’s not a word) summers, a lot of travel, a lot of sun, and a little tan. Great start for my 21st. And that’s about it. So, what do you think? and How was your summer?
