You know, looking back on it, of course Cupid crushed on Dexter. He’s kinda dorky, radiates total simp energy, and is fucking built. Dude’s able to keep up with Daring in school sports and his dad puts him through the same Charming Prince training regimen. Of course he’s got muscles. And Cupid is nothing if not thirsty for a good pair of muscles and an enjoyer of total adoration.

I’m not going to lie, but like, Cupid and Kitty have untapped potential to be one of the most chaotic duos Ever After High has ever seen.

I don’t quite remember if they ever interact in canon, or what their relationship is like if they interacted, but like, just think for a second.

Cupid is clearly against Headmaster Grimm and his whole agenda right, like, we all got that from True Hearts Day. Cupid believes that everyone should follow their heart regardless of destiny, while Headmaster Grimm is firmly against such ‘nonsense’ and believes that everyone should just shut up and follow whatever their destinies entail.

Then there’s Kitty, and her whole deal is causing chaos. She loves pranks and mischief, and generally just being a nuisance all over. Headmaster Grimm is someone who’s a stickler for the rules; of following things by the book (literally). I would like to wager that this both amuses and displeases Kitty, and she finds whatever way she can to make his life absolute hell while cultivating pure enjoyment for herself.

And that’s where they both come together. Because, bear in mind, Cupid’s destiny (if you could call it that I guess?) is to bring people together and help them fall in love. Kitty’s destiny as the Chesire Cat is to simply be as much of a hindrance to everyone that she can while partaking in several shenanigans.

Do you see where I’m going with this? 

Cupid and Kitty can cause so many problems together and when confronted, they can use the very viable excuse that they’re really just practicing for their destinies.

I would enjoy this friendship very much as it would lead to many moments of Headmaster Grimm almost having a stroke <3

Dexter’s Signature Diary - Chapter 5

In the Charmitorium, Daring began wooing his lab damsel, Duchess Swan. "Princess of the lake, you are royally stunning. Even standing next to me, which is saying something. For my smile shines like the sun, my golden hair glitters, my eyes sparkle like..."

"Is your brother trying to woo himself?" Cupid giggled. She and I waited backstage for our turns. I couldn't stop biting my nails. Dad sat in the first row, clapping with pride as Daring's Ode to Daring ended. Cupid climbed to the balcony. "You're going to be fableous! Good luck!" I'm lucky to have a friend like her.

"NEXT UP, DEXTER CHARMING," dad bellowed, "and I hope you were paying attention to your brother."

I didn't need to. I remembered what Raven said, You're so much better than Daring. He should wish he was as good as you. She believed in me. Suddenly wooing words started flowing as easily as if I'd studied them. "I always knew you were someone special. You're smart and caring; beautiful and brave. You're strong, and more than that, you give people strength. You give me strength. You're my inspiration. You make me want to be a better hero."

Cupid curiously fainted again with a THUD as everyone in the Charmitorium thunderously applauded, including my dad, "Now that's how a Prince Charming woos!"

Not only did I pass Advanced Wooing, but I finally got dad's approval. On top of that, I knew exactly what was in my heart; I finally knew where my story was going. I had to find Raven.

Cupid’s Signature Diary - February 1

A caller today asked if I was dating any monster. When I asked if he wanted to audition for the job, he hung up the phone so fast I think it created a mini sonic boom. The fact is that I don’t get asked out very much at all due to the following reasons:

1. Whenever I date a guy, he thinks that because I’m a Cupid that I must know absolutely everything about relationships, and they’re afraid they might say the wrong thing they don’t say anything at all.

2. If a guy crushes on me, either his friends tell him that I must have shot him with one of my arrows, or he thinks that himself and immediately gets angry that I must have manipulated him into the situation. As if…

3. Guys are afraid if they do something to offend me that my father or one of my aunts or uncles will put some curse on him so that he’ll end up rolling a rock uphill for like… ever. Okay… my aunts and uncles are pretty fond of me, so maybe this one has a little merit.

4. Guys think that if they dated and then broke up with me, I would make them fall in love with a plate of Brussels sprouts. I don’t even think one of my father’s arrows is powerful enough to make that happen.

5. Guys don’t ask because they think I have so many dates I would just turn them down – apparently, they never read reasons 1-4.

Oh well, I guess when the right monster comes along it'll happen but until then my advice will just have to be for everybody else :P
