For Kingdom is it BEET how DARE she get demoted that badly </3 Rare: For Ovenbreak it's a very tough decision, but I'm a big fan of Soda. :] For Kingdom NO DOUBT CLOVER. I LOVE CLOVER. If not for how he is in canon than the absolutely fucked up interpretation I have of him. Epic: THERE'S SO MANY I AM GOING TO PICK TWO FROM EACH GAME. Prune Juice and Candy Diver for Kingdom, FIG and Cyborg for Ovenbreak. There's so many more in Ovenbreak Super Epic: Sherbet, I guess?? Or Stardust. I've been thinking a little about Stardust recently but Sherbet holds a special place in my heart. Legendary: LISTEN. LISTEN. THIS IS SO DIFFICULT. I'm gonna cheat a little and say Wind Archer for Kingdom even though he's not released there yet, and Abyss Monarch for Ovenbreak. Xylitol is also up there but. ABYSS... Abyss' lore intrigues me so much. Ancient: Healer Pure Vanilla. Basic answer, but he's here solely for the fact I wish for him to suffer every day of his life. /pos Special: Cookiedroid for Ovenbreak, Tails for Kingdom. CROB: Obtaining and Upgrading Cookies & Pets

⚙️ As of March 14th, 2023, the primary method of unlocking new Cookies and Pets has changed. Now, instead of running numbers against an RNG-based treasure chest, you’re going to use Trial Star Candies to unlock new Cookies.

FAQs

How do you get Trial Star Candies?

⚙️ Cookie Trials, duh! You get them as you reach given score ranks. Hard Mode has them too, and there’s no timer or anything to collect them before they expire unlike New Cookie Cups which expire about a month later.

What happens when I get enough Trial Star Candies?

⚙️ You unlock the Cookie AND the Pet for free.

What if I already have a Cookie or a Pet that I’ve just met the unlock condition for?

⚙️ You still keep your collection as it is. Only the ones you DON’T have are on the unlock track.

Cookie Trials? What about the ones where I got some high scores before the 3/14/23 update?

⚙️The Trial Star Jellies for ranks you already got are retroactively added to your progression. If this total exceeds the benchmark for unlocking a Cookie, you’ll get one copy of the Cookie and Pet in your mailbox.

There’s a new Cookie I really want, but I don’t have enough Trial Star Candies! What now?

⚙️ Buy whatever you want with Crystals, duh! Every other goal-based unlock restriction is gone (obtaining select Cookies, reaching affection levels, Escape Levels, etc), but you can play in a lot of events and other modes to get them for free. The unlock cost in Crystals is the same for all Cookies of a rarity, but higher rarities cost a LOT more. See these prices for Cookies/Pets respectively. If you have a Cookie Unlock Ticket or Pet Unlock Ticket, you can use that to unlock any Cookie/Pet that’s Epic rarity or lower without spending Crystals.

Common: 900 / 600

Rare: 1,800 / 1,200

Epic: 2,900 / 1,900

Special: Unavailable.

Legendary: 9,900 / 6,600

So Special Cookies… are they unavailable?

⚙️ YEP! Hello Kitty, Mimmy, Coffee Cookie, and Cookiedroid are not part of this. If you really want Cookiedroid that bad, go to the Google Play Points Store! If you’re just realizing that Hello Kitty collaborated with Devsisters in 2018, TOUGH BISCUITS! THEY’RE NOT AVAILABLE.

Do Cookies and Pets share the same unlock conditions?

⚙️ Yes, most Cookies and their Combi Pet share the same Trial Star Candy unlock requirement. Unpaired or secondary Legendary Pets will have their own unlock requirement. Certain events and shop offers may award copies of Cookies or Pets for free, including ways to unlock them instantly.

Alright, I have a Cookie. If the Chests are gone, how do I upgrade them?

⚙️ There are four ways:

Use Cookie Potions to gain the necessary copies

Gain the copies through gameplay and events

Spend Crystals to buy the needed copies

Buy the desired copies in any game shop, including the Package Shop

These methods also apply to Pets, which have their own Pet Potions. Legendary Cookies and Pets use Legendary Cookie/Pet Potions. Special Cookies and Pets use Special Cookie/Pet Potions (if for some reason you still had Special Spirit Potions when the 3/14/23 update happened).

Late Night Kingdom Report: March 17th

☕️ …and here we are again, late at night on the cusp of 2 AM with more things to report:

Cookiedroid’s Blunder

While Cookiedroid themselves did not cause the issue, there were reported issues with making in-game purchases through Google Play on March 15th. For any transaction where authorizations for these purchases were not granted and the purchased items were not delivered, refunds will be issued as follows:

For credit card purchases where payment authorizations were delayed and the items were not credited to your account, the purchase will be refunded within 7 days (as of 3/15)

Purchases using a gift card or Play Points that would not deliver the items will result in cancelling the associated purchase, and your gift card and/or Play Points will be reimbursed

As of now, we do not see these errors affecting current purchases and do not know whether these issues were or will be resolved.

Guild Activity: Where Merit is Due

Once again on March 15th, a patch was added that fixed another issue where the “Draw All” feature for the Guild Gacha would not merit Activity Points for Spring in the Cookie Kingdom. The developers are currently reviewing the data logs and where these points went missing, but this process will take plenty of time to fully complete. Like the Treasure Gacha error, the missing points will be reported on and credited at a later date, but before you ask, Timekeeper is not getting involved in this situation regarding an estimated completion date.

As the patch is already live, the issue has already been fixed and will not cause further problems beyond the points previously owed before the patch.

Promotional Event: Affogato Cookie

Things are looking better for Affogato Cookie after fixing that issue with his spell, so word has come from the Dark Cacao Kingdom that he has arranged for a promotional event where every Kingdom leader that has met him will receive another reward based upon how much he has been promoted:

The event ends on March 25th at 4 PM KST. When the event ends, you will receive the reward that associates with his highest current rank. For example, if he holds a ranking of 3 stars when the event ends, you would receive the reward for 3 stars. You would not receive the rewards for 1 or 2 stars because you already exceeded those expectations. Certain packages can be purchased two more times on top of their previous limits:

Affogato Cookie: Guaranteed Epic Volume 1 and 2 (1 -> 3 times)

Dark Cacao Kingdom’s Package of the Unwavering (3 -> 5 times)

That should be everything for now. Do take a look at the Guild Event for Spring in the Cookie Kingdom if you haven’t already, as that event is being affected by the first issue noted and is already halfway through.
