NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday extended the last date to apply online for UGC- National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2020, Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-2020, Joint CSIR -National Eligibility Tesr (CSIR-NET) June 2020 up to May 31, 2020.

Ealier, the last date to submit online applications for ICAR 2020, JNUEE 2020, and CSIR NET June 2020 May 15 and the last date to apply for UGC NET was May 16, which have now been extended till May 31, 2020.

An official notice released by NTA in this regard reads that “In view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to COVID-19 epidemic and requests recieved from many students in this regard, the National Testing Agency has further extended/ revised the dates of submission of Online Application Forms for various Examinations conducted by the Agency.”

Candidates should note that the submission of online application forms will be accepted up to 5.00 pm and fee up to 11.50 pm on May 31, 2020.

Applicants can pay the requisite fee through credit/debit card/net banking/ UPI and Paytm.

NTA Important Notification

Rescheduling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 from 03.05.2020 (Sunday) to 26.07.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 which was to be conducted on 03.05.2020 (Sunday) had to be postponed due to the extraordinary circumstances arising from COVID-19 pandemic. A Public Notice dated 27.03.2020 was issued in this regard. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now decided that the rescheduled National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 will be held on 26.07.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. The dates of downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number and Centre of Examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of examination on the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and NEET (UG) -2020 (ntaneet.nic.in). Whereas, many aspirants of Joint CSIR-UGC NET, June 2020 are finding it difficult to obtain and upload updated and valid “Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD etc.)”, “Result in Awaited Attestation Form” and other such documents from competent authority while submitting the ONLINE application form ( last date for submission for which is the 15th May 2020) for the said examination owing to the nation-wide lockdown currently in place. 2. In view of the difficulties faced by the aspiring applicants and also in view of the situation arising out of the Covid-19 lockdown in the country, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to relax the mandatory provision of submission/uploading of the certificates, other than the Photograph and signature of the candidate, on submission/ uploading of an Undertaking stating therein that “ the updated and valid Category Certificate(SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD etc) / Result Awaited Attestation Form/ any other documents from the competent authority shall be furnished as and when it is required by the CSIR”. 3.
