If you read last post you may remember that I had a bezel with scratched crystal. As you may guess it’s not disappeared 😅 From the first mod I wanted to make “just casio watch”. I’m not a fan of more classic models (like #F91W), so I wanted to have #AE1200 but simplified. Without noisy lettering on the face. It’s not a toy after all. And I don’t need to know how many years battery may work 🤷 This time I even dare to remove numbers from round analog indicator. I was not sure if it would look okay. Generally this round thing looks really suitable (see #kashalab_baron). In the end I really like the result. Yes, it’s scratched. Yes, it’s more than simple. I didn’t even replace the strap, it’s default one. I like this “nothing to lose” attitude, sounds cool ;) Oh, and yeah, the name is Eclipse. (Don’t ask why I need names for watches, they just pop up in my head. The story of this watch is rather weird. I had one bezel with scratched crystal and I wanted to have some fun. Also I had this red semi-transparent strap (that fits #ae1200 perfectly, btw 🤩). So I wanted to have an experiment on style, utilised this red strap somehow. The mod itself was annoying me. I don’t like red color actually. I bought this strap to have a challenge😅 But the concept of this watch has already stuck im my mind. When I start working on something it’s hard to let it unfinished. So I wanted to finish it ASAP, take photos, maybe sell it for half price (remember, the crystal was scratched) and move on. While working on it the name has come — The Baron. I understand what it may look in the end. It may be not freak and ugly but powerful, vivid, winning guy. So I accepted, adopted it. I liked it!I bought the new watch and replaced the bezel with new one — clean and shiny. Added bullbars (by @jaysandkays), chose colors for watch face and boom, I can hear it roar👺👺👺 Oh well, the story behind the object can change your perception. Now you know how I look at this watch.
