The 3rd edition of CAVALIADA in Sopot went down in history

For the third time, the city of Sopot hosted the largest equestrian event in Poland. The third stop of the CAVALIADA Tour 2023/2024 was ERGO ARENA, where a total of 159 competitors and 231 horses from 6 countries took part.

Both in terms of sports and entertainment, CAVALIADA in Sopot is an unquestionable success. The two most difficult competitions of this competition, i.e. those included in the ranking of the International Equestrian Federation, brought a lot of emotions to the fans and turned out to be quite a challenge for the competitors. This time, the winners were foreign guests - Matas Petraitis from Lithuania and Harm Lahde from Germany, but this is good because it shows that CAVALIADA, which has been taking place for over a dozen years, is still progressing and attracting better and better pairs to start.

A during the past 3 Wednesdays we did to have our meetings (1st there was research weeks, then she was sick and than I was volunteering on Cavaliada) I went through all 8 class books at my house (there were quite a few of them) both on maths and english, to see after I got to know X a little better how is she with the material and to select tasks or books that we should try to go through. I prepared everything for our next meeting, so that the time can be spent as productive as possible.

Matas Petraitis on CORNET'S CLOUD won the Big Round competition

The tour host did not have an easy task today. The starting list of the Big Round competition for the LOTTO brand prize included in the world ranking and CAVALIADA Tour ranking was very diverse. In addition to couples who normally compete in higher-ranking competitions, there were many competitors and horses who experienced the ranking class course for the first time. After 41 runs, everything turned out very interesting. Ultimately, 10 pairs entered the game.

A negative surprise was the knockout of the runner-up in the CAVALIADA Tour ranking - Angelos Touloupis from Greece, who today chose a relatively inexperienced horse. The fans had the right to expect a flawless ride, because the Greek is driving exceptionally well this tour. Despite the knockout, Toulupis scored points today, which allowed him to take the lead in the table and become the leader of the CAVALIADA Tour.
