I love the way you write and I literally read all your Daryl one-shoots in like two hours they were so good!

Would you be able to do a Daryl one-shot where It’s prison era (before the governor is a thing cuz I hate him lol) and the reader is (male or female) and deaf? I know recently learned ASL for work and family and I would love more deaf representation!! (Putting like “he signed”). The one-shot is Daryl comes across him/her on a hunt trying to fight off two claimers and rescues them?? The reader made has pad and paper?

This was tricky but really interesting to write. I hope it lives up to your expectations and thank you for all the kind words :) I was a bit confused about the 'claimers' part so I just made them fight against

I can feel my chest heaving, my eyes frantically looking back and forth between the walkers coming at me, spit dripping from their parted lips and my sweaty hand grips tightly onto the handle of my knife.

I know that this won't end well, that a walker could come up from behind me while I'm focused on the two in front of me and take me down; done in just moments. I guess it wouldn't be the worst way to go, the bright sun shining down above me, the trees whipping back and forth, grass glistening with fresh morning dew.

Before I can lunge forward with my knife, two arrows firmly shoot through the walkers heads, their bodies immediately dropping to the ground. My head whips to follow where the arrow came from, seeing a man with a crossbow, his hair hanging in his face and he steps up to the walkers, yanking the arrows from them.

He turns to me and says something and my mind blanks, forgetting for a moment that he wouldn't know that I can't understand him. Quickly, I fumble for my pad and paper, biting at my lip as I quickly write out, deaf in big letters. I turn it to him, pointing to the paper and his eyes flicker back and forth between my eyes and the word.

He nods, reaching towards me and I timidly hand him the pad of paper before sliding my knife back into safety. He scratches the pen against the paper, his tongue peeking out before handing it back to me.

You alone?

I nod, signing yes with my hand and he's hesitant but he copies me, picking up on my sign quickly. Moving back to the paper, I scribble out can I stay with you, my stomach anxiously twisting as I hand him the paper. His brows furrow a bit, looking back up at me with kinder eyes. He nods, signing yes once more before moving onto another piece of paper, showing it to me and he points to himself.

Daryl.

I smile, writing out my name and he nods me on to follow him, slinging his crossbow over his shoulder. I let out a sigh of relief, my whole body relaxing and I feel a sense of relief that I don't have to be alone anymore and that Daryl appears to be kinder than all of the others who have done me wrong.

hiii! Very interested to know which one has been your favorite episode so far?? And why :))

Oof this is HARD anon.

Right now I think it would have to be a toss-up between episode 4 and episode 11.

If you couldn’t tell by the amount of meta I wrote for episode 4, I dined on that ep like an all-you-can-eat-buffet. She had everything: Kinn fumbling and out of his depth, budding bi awakening, Porsche the voyeur watching Kinn’s push a guy’s head down to his dick in the sexiest possible way, sexual tension to rival the greats, the Shirt Off Scene, Free Fall piano version, “I don’t kiss” (except he totally fucking does), shifting power dynamics (see my literal essay-length meta lol), tiddies galore, and everybody dolled up in their sluttiest suits. The episode was literal perfection and a cinematic masterpiece that belongs in a museum.

And obviously I’m a little biased because episode 11 is the most recent so it’s taking up a lot of real estate in my braincell (singular), but I just adored every single scene. This ep had: torture (sexy), ear-licking and grandma-threatening (simultaneous), Kinn and Porsche domestic boyfriends era, bodyguard squad as hype men, Khun Spikes our hedgehog mascot, Tay/Time and Kinn/Porsche double date, Dyson commercial ft 🥺 eyes Kinn and waist-holding, VegasPete torture honeymoon, Porsche hiding in Yok’s shoulder while Kinn gets her blessing to date him, Tankhun and Chay besties arc begins 🤩, Chay and Kim boyfriends arc ends 😔, wound care (after inflicting said wounds), pill kiss, Kinn’s 50 shades of grey inspired helicopter ride (fluff version), sky bjs, daddy issues extravaganza, indirect kiss via ramen, Kimlock Holmes murder mystery, and a preview that came to my house, called me a whore, and ate my cereal. Not a single dull moment and every scene an assault on my sanity.

But every episode is its own kind of magic and I love all of them. 💕💕
