🍍: Where does your OC feel most comfortable?

Honestly, Yweyn feels most comfortable anywhere as long as her bestie Valentine is within reach. They've known each other since their early teens and been through all kinds of hell together, they're practically inseparable, finding great comfort within each other. That does also extend to Aynur (@/kornyo's character) to a degree, though their relationship is relatively recent so, they're getting there 🤭

Jessamy is most comfortable where she knows she's in control, her office first and foremost, but even while she's out and about, as long as she knows her agents have her back and/or has enough information to essentially expect any situation that arises.

🎂: Has your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first preception people have of the? How do they surprise people?

The first perception of Yweyn is generally just, this really tall (190cm/ 6'3") tattooed necromancer that carries an equally large greatsword, with a resting bitch face that is only amplified by her black eyeliner and lipstick and carries a chilly aura about her, and who is widely known as a formidable fighter and powerful necromancer both in mercenary work and in tournaments in the Mists.

And then you get to know her and she's this very loving and carrying softie that loves to cook and bake, has piles upon piles of sketchbooks filled with pencil sketches and watercolor, mostly of people just going about their day or scenery, and she will stop and feed any stray cat she comes across.

Jessamy on the other hand isn't all that surprising, she's as closed off, cold and calculating and she first comes across, all jagged edges and that's not counting all the knives she carries. She's only really known as a Whispers Agent and an Infromation Broker, what little friends she had that knew her beyond that are either gone or dead and she doesn't really let anyone in easily.

It is perhaps surprising that for someone that only sees people as information or assets she's quite fixated on the concept of romance and soulmates, and she doesn't take kindly to people mistreating others (especially ex mordrem). She's also very soft and caring with her several corvids but she doesn't let just anyone witness that side of her.

🍪: What is something that's sentimental to you OC?

Yweyn wouldn't consider herself overly sentimental, but she holds quite a few things with sentimental value to her - first and foremost the few things that survived the house fire that killed her parents; a hair ribbon which was a gift from her mother, she used to wear it but considering her hair is too short for it now it's been stashed away, a charr plushie that doubled as a backpack which she used when she was a kid, and a dagger that used to be her father's, which she just so happened to have in her backpack that night. She does also have quite a few gifts from Val, mostly jewelry he made himself.

Jessamy would die before she'd admit she's sentimental but likewise has a few things that'd legitimately make her sad if she lost; the hair (leaf?) pins that she wears were a gift from a fellow Whispers Agent that unfortunately passed during the assault against Mordremoth (she killed them but we're not gonna talk about that), they'd joined the Order around the same time and would often work together, getting pretty close throughout the years. She also has a feather of each of her corvids, kept in a book with their name and everything, though she also wears two on her person, usually clipped in her hair or as an earring, one the first raven she bonded with and one of her griffon.

🍕: How does an OC spend a lazy day?

Yweyn will sleep in as long as she can, though she rarely stays in bed past noon if she's alone, cook some simple comfort food, feed the neighborhood cats and the either draw for a while or just lounge. Honestly most of her days are lazy days by design, she'll do a couple of mercenary jobs and the like (usually dragged into it by Val) and live off of that money for as long as possible with minimal effort - though considering she's now a guild leader, those lazy days are getting cut short a bit.

Jessamy on the other hand scoffs at the idea of lazy days, she's always working on something and considering her profession as an Information Broker she doesn't have much time to lose, information goes stale pretty quick and as much as she trusts her agents to handle things, she'd much rather stay in control as much as possible. She likely has assistants that'll try to get her to take a break etc but at most she'll be like "yeah alright" and just take some paperwork to work from home. Closest thing she has to a lazy day is just staying in bed a little longer and not rushing as much, maybe grabbing a treat on her way to her office

i want a gw2 theme park because i love theme parks.

a big plaza/hub where you have shops and info points and meet-up points and everything you need basically that’s modelled after lions arch and from there you can enter all the different zones of the park, each modelled after the playable races homelands as well as expansion maps.

there are tons of rides in the park but the main attraction are the big rollercoasters all themed after the dragon fights. for zhaitan you’d be able to to like “shoot” the dragon during the ride, and mordremoth’s is like a giant wooden roller coaster, for jormag and primordus there’d be a very cool “double” roller coaster of sorts, etc…

for kids there’d be “quaggan land” or something with kids rides and a shit ton of marketable plushies… oh the marketable plushies would be everywhere, of every character imaginable. also the people that run those scammy booths where you can win stuff are all obligated to dress up as skritt.

in the charr/ascalon area you’d get to see the metal legion concert, in the shiverpeaks area you’d have lots of singers telling tales or legends and heroes, there’d be the tooth of normal that you could try to crack (you know it’s one of these “test your strength!” things that the dudebros always try to show off but then fail miserably).

there’d be rides/games based on the balthazar fight, tarir, destiny’s edge, and one really inappropriately named lord faren ride. you’d have big events themed after world bosses, the lions arch plaza is decorated according to current ingame festivals, there’d be some escape room-esque super adventure box somewhere, and every now and once a year or something there’s a big scarlet event.

AW MAN ANGEL!!!! Well his full name is Destroying Angel, but everyon just calls him Angel except his dad aka the charr Gearloose who just calls him Troy!!

I just really wanted an oc who can be dashin and sweet and ALSO like plushies which is why he has a charr plushie backpack (Gearloose won it for him from a festival) and his plush dragonscarf! It was actually a raggedy scarf before, but since his time travelling and getting in trouble with Cantha (i.e. uh oh, the Speakers really like the cut of his jib and his whole connection to the mycelium network) he's REALLY fond of the Saltsprays and got a scarf looking like them. he's just so fond of plush things since they help with his panic attacks- sometimes that connection and the attunement to leyline energy (which, spoilers for the new shit, IS GOING NUTS RN) can be overwhelming as hell.

hey there!! i guess some mind consider this "cringe" but perfume is one of my special interests and i have this myotismon plushie i commissioned that i like occasionally spraying with perfumes that i think myotismon would wear if he were real. I like using ombre leather by tom ford (smells exactly as it sounds) and this weird niche one called "female christ" that smells like the inside of a catholic church but like. slutty? if that makes sense? It's fun :) ANYWAY i wanted to ask if you have any headcanons for how other digimon would smell either as their natural scent (like the plant/earth types) OR what kind of fragrances you think they would like?(or if they're the kind who dislike that sort of thing) weird question i guess but it might be fun to think about :^)

Man I hardly ever consider certain SMELLS Digimon could smell like when it comes to them... I'm gonna give basic thoughts but dfhsf take them how y'all want cause idk shit about describing smells in the first place

I could see a lot of Digimon having a lot of "natural" smells to them in their own ways I suppose?

Plant Digimon smell a lot like earthy tones and thy also smell fairly sweet and fragranty. But it also depends on their type exactly so they all have varying frangrants of mossy/earthy/flowery kinds? But they can also make themselves smell absolutely downright FOUL if they want to fuck around

Dragon based Digis are very SPICY, smell like charr or toasted wood. They do smell rather nice!

Angelic/Holy Digis sell Clean. They just. They jsut smell clean??? I'm not sure how else to put it!! Their feathers give off a calmingly clean scent to it, too

Devil/demon Digimon can range from smelling SPICY in different ways to smelling just as clean as their angelic counterparts which is funny to say the least

Aquatic Digimon can range from smelling like an ocean breeze, to smelling like how trees/grass do when it rains after it hasn't for a while. Very water-based smells

Machine Digimon have a very distinct smell of machinery, as it be, sometimes they don't smell like anything at all, or they give off a bit of a gas/oil scent

Beast Digimon smell!! Like clean animal fur!! No matter the kind of Digimon it can and will just smell like a cleaned animal fur for them

Bird Digimon have ranged smells depending on where they live. Forest ones may smell like freshly cut timber, or give the scent of rainy rocks if they live near caves/in dark areas

Insectoid Digimon are akin to plant Digimon in the fact they can also have very earthy tones to them or smell very sweet, but some can make themselves smell VERY foul depending on what they're trying to do...

Again, I'm not really a scent type person so these are just like. Very vague things FHSDFH

(GW2) Everyone who has a charr, their charr is part of the same warband. They're the Star warband, so Francis' charr is Olympe Starburst. Ivan's main- Vaska Starbore- is the legionnaire.

(Supernatural AU) Kiku and Yao can and will pin their s/o down. Yao will groom you. He will lick your hair and use his nose to preen you. Meanwhile Kiku will just coil around you and rest his head on your lap.

(Supernatural AU) Please please please scratch Alfred's back for him. Right there between his wings. He'll love you forever. He can't reach it.

Matt and Allen have a very long-running "Heeey, bear" joke from that one guy on Alone. They also have "Agh- I'm getting stung."

If you're a friend and he's not doing it as a country, Kiku doesn't care if you pay him back for stuff. Just pay it forward. There's very few people he actually holds money over if it was done personally.

Alfred once shot a spider. With a gun. The stairs to that house still have a bullet lodged in them.

Ludwig has his phone's clock app set to tell him what time it is for all his allies. If you don't live with him, your timezone is in there too. He will berate you for texting at 3 am.

Matt never calls anyone unless it's super important. So if Matt calls instead of texts, you better answer. Especially if it's really late in his timezone. If it's like 11-5 for him and he's calling, it's an emergency.

There's this really really old Spanish lullaby that Antonio used to sing for Lovino when he had nightmares. Lovino will sometimes hum it while he's cleaning or cooking. He will never admit that it's from Antonio.

(Monster AU) All the vampires hate drinking from you. Ivan will literally refuse unless he's starving, and even then he will not bite you. You will have to soak a rag and he'll drink it from that.

Sometimes if Alfred is startled, Spanish will just come out of him. Matthew is like this with French. It will just come out when they're startled.

Allen listens to musicals.

Yao will cry if you give him a plushie. Every single time. It doesn't matter if this is the first time or the fiftieth time. He will cry.

Lovino is pretty good at estimating numbers. He doesn't take the time to do the math, but he can get pretty close just estimating.

Allen is still really good at cooking food over a fire. He used to do it a lot more often, and with him being vegan there isn't much incentive to do it anymore, but if you get him to, he can make a mean stew. A whole pot will be gone in less than an hour, it's that good.

Meanwhile, Matt still does. He can and will just roast something over a fire all day. He uses minimal spices, the smoke and the fire do most of the work flavoring the meat. Plus the natural flavor in it.

Ivan and Viktor both naturally run very very hot. They're both incredibly hot blooded, so if they're somewhere that ISN'T covered in snow, they're drenched in sweat dying. If you get Ivan down to like... Arizona in the summer, he is going to need the AC on full blast right in his face.

Kiku loves watching videos of tiny blacksmithing. Bonus if it's straight up ASMR style with no added sound effects for goofiness.

But on the other hand, most other kinds of ASMR squick him out. Eating sounds make him want to hit something.

Matthias plays campfire sounds if he can't sleep. It's a double edged sword though, he gets super sleepy around campfires now.

(Soulbound) One of Yao's incarnates was just a farmer. He never did anything grander with his life. He just farmed rice. And Yao loved him. He still has a recipe he makes sometimes that man taught him. He eventually died from age, Yao got to be with him when he died.

Gilbert has tried to be able to read Kanji but he just can't wrap his head around it. Kiku has tried to teach him but it just won't stick in his brain. He can read romanji just fine.

Feliciano hates sleeping alone so he'll often call Caro and Enzo up into bed with him if he doesn't have someone else.

Flavio likes having soft music playing when he sleeps.

(GW2) Alfred's charr is the second in command of Star warband. In the lore that Alfred definitely just wrote himself, he's the one who named the warband. His charr is answers to any pronouns, though he mostly uses feminine for them. Their name is Liberty Saberstar, they're his elementalist.

(GW2) Ludwig already has a warband name chosen, he just hasn't gotten around to making a charr yet. He's going to have the warband's ranger who's birds are all trained as messengers. Starling. You know, like the bird.

(Supernatural AU) I know I haven't actually posted it yet, but Matt is a werebear he and absolutely SLEEPS in winter. Do not wake him up, he will be grumpy.

Alfred and Kiku have watch parties for anime they're both into. If they don't watch the new episode together they will explode waiting for the other to watch it so they can DISCUSS.

like a horde of plushies they’ve collected over the years, some are softer than others, some are hastily stitched together, they have a favourite that they’ll pull from the pile when they’re alone and stressed. 

the Commander of the pact, stressed out, just slowly sinking into a pile of plushies while hugging their favourite to their chest, or reminiscing on childhood adventures

A Norn Commander who’s got one of their favourite spirit of the Wild, a gift from when they were younger, a stalwart companion of many a greta hunt in their youthful play. The eyes are a little more worn, and there’s a few scars in the fluffy fuzz (the fluffier the better to keep a companion warm in such a cold climate), but they’re still as strong as ever

An Asuran Commander, who’s got a plush golem with animal ears, that they used to educate on the matters, and helped them through late college nights in both emotional support and being a helpful ear to explain that complex equation that’s just not working right to. They still argue that their plush is the smartest around

A Charr Commander, who’s charr hero plush is more scarred than some of the soldiers they meet. Their first warband-mate and their most trusted ally, who they’ve defeated legions of ghosts, flame legion and gods with, and still has a bit of a smokey smell from that time with the fire

A Human Commander, who’s got a soft, fluffy plush of their favourite Krytan pet, who’s their most diplomatic advisor when meeting with the Queen, a steady companion in battle against centaurs, and even made the Gods laugh with that one joke that one time

A Sylvari Commander, who’s body was born old enough to be considered “past all that” by the other races, until Khadeins slipped a plush sylvan hound to them one evening after a particularly rough day. Their soft friend guards their home and companions from the Nightmare with kindness and serenity, even cuddled close to their chest on colder nights

Mesmer main, Sankofa is the Pact Commander and leader of the Kamadan Stalkers. Curious and determined, she does her best to exceed expectations whenever possible, despite her personal insecurities. She is besties with the Norn Berserker, Sera dër Skulhund.

Name: Kappow Race: Asuran Synergetics Golemancy Reasearcher Occupation: NecroCurious Minionmancer Hobby: Blacksmith

Kappow is leads the Stalker’s R&D krewe and specializes in studies of death magic conversion in application for everyday use. Like other Asurans, she will devolve into using technobabble that will confuse her guildmates, but tinged with a bit of macabre frankness that even gives pause to her krewemates during lunch breaks. She also has a disjointed old plushie that Toymaker Tixx gifted her that follows her around. Its eerie mews sound like they are far away as she cuddles her little, “Beans”

Name: Thwisp Race: Sylvari from the Garden of Dawn Occupation: Ranger Hobby: Leatherworking and running around nekkid (Her leaves fell off)

While Thwisp loves all her animal companions, she is bonded deeply with her fern hound, Mandrake. Her curiosity has gotten her in and out trouble often, but she is attuned to the strengths of her pets and together they overcome most challenges. Like her name, Thwisp’s voice is quiet and light. Her sister, Serphyre, often will advocate in her stead when others may dismiss her wisdom of the natural world around them.

Name: Sera dër Skulhund Race: Wolfborn Norn Occupation: Berserker Hobby: Cooking and bashing assholes

Foul-mouthed, loud and stubborn as a dolyak bull, Sera is happiest when she is cooking, or smashing someonesomething to bits. In between cooking and smashing she can be too drunk to remember what she smashed the day before. Sera’s temper is only matched by her passion. She loves to find new and exotic ingredients and make local dishes that remind her friends of home, hearth and their bonds. She Is best buds with Sankofa, even though she is a flaky Mez, often spars with Mala. And a strange dislike of pirates…

Name: Mala Searsoul Race: Charr Bood Legion Gladium and Pact Tactician Occupation: Floofybutt Guardian Hobby: Armorworking

Mala is a visionary. She joined the Vigil after the defeat of Zhaitan and was stationed with the Pact soon after. Her keen tactical sense has made her invaluable to the Stalkers. She came to meet Sera during her time as a stubborn recruit. She knocked Sera round for a while and got the feel for her style. She suggested that she change her tactics when fighting, leading Sera to adopt her signature weapon: A Ice and Earth imbued Hammer called “The Tenderizer”. Mala came to regret the advice as she has not been able to beat Sera since.

Name: Serphyre Race: Sylvari from the Garden of Night Occupation: Elementalist Healer Hobby: Jewlerycrafting

Serphyre is beautiful. But rather than flaunt it in arrogance, she uses it to inspire, advocate and give hope to others. Because of this, she is actually quite self conscious about how others perceive her failures. That in failing, she may cause others to lose heart. On the battlefield, she is a summer’s kiss that staves of the chill of death. But the darkness in her eyes is there for a reason.

Hera Dragonhowl (Holosmith) - Lion’s Arch mercenary. Born and raised on the pirate vessel Wyvern’s Song, when she was old enough to strike out on her own she found work in Lion’s Arch. She’s defended the city from both the Risen and Scarlet Briar attacks, and considers it her home. Very flat affect, but otherwise pretty chill. Believes actions speak louder than words. Has an affinity for plushies and the color pink. Has a pet cat named Rapscallion. Cecil the Envoy (Scourge) - A strange charr who can communicate with and actively channels the dead. They serve as a guide of sorts to the spirits who haunt Tyria, from unfinished business or otherwise. In short, they’re a grief counselor for the dead. Odd-mannered, but harmless.

Red Claws Flashing (Firebrand) - Former Voice Attendant, current mercenary. When the Rage of Koda killed her sanctuary’s Claw and nearly killed her, her disillusionment with Koda’s way caused her to leave her home. She earns her keep in central Tyria by guarding caravans and otherwise working as hired muscle. She’s standoffish and embittered by her experience, but more open-minded in terms of her perspectives on the other races of Tyria. That said, she still has a lot to learn.

Ghost of the Mists (Chronomancer) - Charr(?). A highly unusual charrlike being who appeared one day out of a broken dwarven vessel. They remember little of the Other Tyria they came from, but do their best to live in the now, experiencing their new home to the fullest.  Xere Brightsnarl (Tempest) - Former Flame, Current Ash Legion (Snarl Warband). A rebel from a young age, Xere learned fire magic and combat as soon as she could and often skipped out on her lessons in more domestic arts. When the Flame legion crumbled and eventually found new leadership under Efram, she joined his faction and found a new warband to join in the All-Legion Rally, Snarl Warband. Her new hobbies include scorching things, playing pranks on her ‘bandmates and being a little menace. Jon Garfield (Berserker) - Oh. Oh no.
