Bio
Hazel was born in Perth (Australia) to Indian immigrant parents. She's the second child of the family. She grew up middle class with an engineer mother and a university teacher father. She had a comfortable life and went to private schools. It is where she grew envious of the children of wealthier family. She never lacked anything and had a great life but she always wanted more. She knew she was destined for something bigger.
After graduating high school, she moved to Sydney to start an acting and modelling career. She got a few jobs in commercials and catalogues. She even starred as an extra or a tiny role in a few soaps, shows and films but nothing big. She never got cast in anything important. Still she knew she would make it somehow so she persevered.
Until her father got into an accident. She agreed to move back to Perth to help her mother take care of him since her career was not going anywhere. After her father got better, she wanted to move again but covid hit, stopping her. After the pandemic, she had lost her momentum and decided to quit acting to become an influencer or a singer.
Hazel worked in Louis Vuitton's shop in Perth before being picked to be a spice girl. She spent all day serving the clients she wished she could be. On her freetime, she posted videos and sang at luxurious venues. She was building followers and she kept hoping to be the next big thing. One evening, she was singing at Perth's Ritz-Carlton when a producer noticed her. That was her big break. Six months later she became a superstar.
Now she lives the life she always aspired to and is obsessed with staying relevant. She is doing everything to keep the spotlight on her.
Career
After being a failed model, actress and influencer, Hazel is now ginger spice on the global girlband sensation that is the Spice girls.
The group reached stardom two years ago. She has been living the dream ever since. She makes cameos in movies and tv shows. She went from being an employee to a Louis Vuitton's brand ambassador. She is always at a party, an award, on set, or on tour. She never takes a minute for herself. She has to keep moving and keep eyes on her. She is not the easiest to work with and push the people around her to high standards. She is starting to build herself a diva reputation and is trying to control her image

International!Sunset Curve
an eye-opening discussion with @futurearchaeologyprof has lead me to write this because Irish!Luke is something I need, but then I learned that Mercer is a Scottish surname, and then the rest fell out like the shelf that fell on my head back in January
Sunset Curve all meet in college
They're all attending The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts
The songwriting and performance BA program to be specific
Alex is from Perth, Scotland
his parents are rich rich and paying for his college
so he's not coming out to them anytime soon
He's also got the devastatingly heavy accent and really only Luke can understand him because
Luke's from Shannon, Ireland
It's a small town so leaving home wasn't much of an option until college
but as soon as he turned 18 he was out of there
Luke and Alex are roommates and at first they don't really like each other
Alex drags Luke home from one too many parties where he's absolutely shitfaced
and then finally its Luke who's dragging Alex home
and Luke's all like "this how ya feel when you're draggin me home?"
Alex is only fucked up because his parents are trying to set him up with the daughter of a family friend back home
and he comes out to Luke whos just like "oh cool"
They meet Bobby a few days later
Bobby's a local boy whos still living with his parents
literally a British fuckin stereotype stuffed into a boy
Bobby introduces them to Reggie
whos as Texan as Texans come
As in grew up on a ranch, southern drawl and all
He also shreds on the banjo
It is hilarious watching them all interact because none of them have the same linguistics and its like they have this own little language within the group
out of all 4 of them, Alex curses the most, then Bobby, then Luke, and Reggie the least
And because Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaelic are so similar, when Alex does curse he only really does it in Scottish Gaelic
Luke's the only one who understands it and refuses to translate for the boys because
"You should never hear the words that comes out of that boys mouth. Sounds like a sailor perched in a pub"
Luke does the same thing, but tends to dance around cursing with made up words and phrases
Bobby's pretty tame but can let loose at literally any second
Reggie uses southern slang and confuses the FUCK out of the Europeans
it could be dead silent and suddenly he'd say something "You know my Uncle Steven is slicker than pig snot on a radiator but his wife'll be happier than a tick on a fat dog when he kicks the bucket"
And they're all just like "What in the fuck did he just say??"
for one of their projects, its pretty much "group up and write three songs to perform for the class"
You know that moment in class when the teacher says "get into a group/with a partner" and you and your best friend immediately look at each other?
yeah that's this moment
they come up with the name of the band during an argument over the perfect example of a curve
"a bloody sunset" Bobby rolls his eyes
Alex launches himself forward and just yells "The curve of a sunset doesn't fuckin' exist ya fuckin' idiot! It's a fuckin' semi-circle!"
turns out they didn't actually have to name their band
But their songs are fucking amazing
and their teacher is like "you NEED to perform these"
Luke's obviously so excited
they all are pretty much
except Alex, who is just praying his parents don't see this or else he'll be faced with a dozen questions because that's how Christian/Catholic parents are, nosy as hell and way too involved in their children's personal lives
obviously it gets out there and blows the fuck up
and they finally get their shit together and decide to actually form their band
thats all I really have but I love the concept of "none of us have the same dialects but we really like each other so we'll make it work"

FULL BIO
The wizarding and muggle worlds were never meant to blend - some believe that to a flaw, defending it with hatred and violence; others see it as an ignorant barrier that conflicts with progress. Pomona isn’t sure, either way, but she knows the line is there for a reason. Elladora Dearborn fell in love with a muggle. Or, she thought it was love. All of those sweet nothings and whispered promises were forgotten when her magic was finally revealed during the pregnancy. Christopher tried to endure it, tried to understand it, but it seemed so unnatural. His Catholic heritage, full of priests and other religious occupations, did not account for magic. It was heresy. And he tried to fix it, with holy water and his fist. When Pomona was only five years old, Christopher had enough. Unknown to Elladora, but he had been lying to his family about his marriage for years. Many of his relatives didn’t even know he had a child, and, from that day forward, he didn’t acknowledge her either.
Pomona had trouble resenting him, although she tried. The tears didn’t stop and the pain only worsened with age - was she not enough? what had she done wrong, other than be born? To be rejected so wholly was not something she could recover easily from. But, some deep part of her understood that this was against his nature - that she was. It was her fault, she established firmly, despite the comfort from her mother. It was okay, she insisted, some people aren’t meant to be loved. And her mother tried, too. She tried to be close to the little girl who represented so much distain, so much resentment from the man she once loved. But the hugs were tense and the condolences strained. When Christopher called Elladora unnatural, an abomination, it was as if Pomona was the result. And even a mother couldn’t shake that insecurity.
There was a small garden in their backyard - the plants stretched to meet her and the flowers bloomed to say hello. It was where she felt welcome, wanted even. She sat beneath the hedges and built houses for the bugs that crawled amongst the dirty and debris; she watered the vines with a pink elephant watering can. When she arrived at Hogwarts, sorted into that lovely yellow house, she found that plants had their own class - their own vocation! The years only encouraged her love and passion for the unbiased greenery. Care of Magical Creatures piqued her interest as well. So many different animals, so many different breeds, all of them capable of loving more strongly than any human she had met.
When she was sixteen, she received a shocking letter from her father. It wasn’t full of the apologies he owed - but that she did not expect. Instead, it was a short statement meant to be a courtesy more than anything, forced upon him by his new wife. She had discovered his past and that he had a daughter from a previous marriage, which he kept well hidden for years. Of course, she did not know about the evil lurking beneath that girl’s skin, capable of resurrecting plant-life and taming beasts, so the letter was encouraged in partial ignorance - or so she believed. Christopher wrote only that Pomona now had a younger sister, whose name and age he did not say. It hurt. It felt as though someone was twisting their fist around her heart. She didn’t even get to know her name; she barely got to know about her existence. Did she know about hers?
It was easier to remain withdrawn from the world, to lock away with her plants and animals for company. The other girls in the dormitory complained about the overgrown flowers sprouting from her corner of the room, but each time she was forced to cut them away, they came back. It was as if they were trying to protect her from whatever made her cry.
Hogwarts had become a comfort. Here, she wasn’t abnormal. She hadn’t done anything wrong with her birth and her life. Pomona was another face among the crowds, the girl who would probably be a professor one day. She fit in like a little puzzle piece and she didn’t want to leave. So she didn’t. Pomona moved from the student dormitories to the professors’, and her position switched accordingly. She’s been an assistant since, teaching younger grades and caring for the greenhouses, doing exactly what made her happiest.
The war has made things complicated, to say the least. While the castle may very well be the safest place for her, it has not shielded her as well as she hoped. After the first notable attack, she refused to stray from castle grounds for a full year. When she eventually ventured out - Raveena insisted that her behavior was unhealthy - her biggest mistake found her in that dark, crowded pub. Finn. What a dangerous, handsome face he had. Words stopped coming to her and her balance disappeared. He had that effect on her, even to this day. And how she loved him, how she tried so hard not to. It would only lead to disappointment, she knew that, but she wasn’t disappointed at first. Pomona was happy. But nothing lasts forever. His distant, aloof attitude frustrated her and brought about those deep insecurities. Some people aren’t meant to be loved.
Although in previous years, she lived in the castle the entire year, Raveena convinced Pomona to branch out. Professor McGonagall seemed to think it would be a good idea, too. So, Pomona moved into a flat with her best friend in London and the chaos of the city has been an adjustment, to say the least. If she had stayed at Hogwarts, she would’ve have gotten caught in the middle of that attack. If she had stayed at Hogwarts, she wouldn’t have seen Voldemort himself walk through the rubble, as she tried desperately to play dead amongst the injured and the (truly) dead. How can she even go from there? Pretend it never happened? Let it consume her? Or take a stand, with what little bravery she had to offer?

Concert Review: Queen Adele, Praise all
Tumblr media
Adele truly has a class for all classes and something for all ages.
Grandmothers sang along to the English superstar’s blue-eyed balladry, while children danced in aisles among confetti.
Drag queens lip-synced along to every melodramatic ode to heartbreak, while suburban dads punched the air to fist-pumping pop-rockers and their wives laughed hard at the 15-time Grammy Award winner’s earthy cockney banter.
The largest ever audience at Domain Stadium was also witnessed to Adele’s first Australian appearance, not to mention her first-ever stadium show. Nothing here was run-of-the-mill and so much seemed so very special to so many.
But then Perth was entranced and besotted by Adele a full 48 hours before her show. Adele, in fact, announced her presence in Perth on Sunday 26 February at 4.15pm. As a lazy late summer afternoon found suburbia holding back the working week for just a few more hours, her soundcheck at what Perth residents will always call Subiaco Oval rang clear as a bell over the sleepy, leafy surrounds of Subiaco, West Leederville, and Wembley.
Adele knows, though, that most of her songs can’t be transmuted into moments of civic healing; nor are many of them even midtempo – “have a little dance because you ain’t got much of a chance for the rest of the set”, she says ahead of Rumour Has It.
“It’s the best concert I’ve never been to,” Facebooked Simone, a local resident after three days of free Adele.
Being there is even better. You could come from any walk of life or music and find that the prodigiously talented and charming Adele truly has a class for all classes and something for all ages. Roll in it … deeply or otherwise. It’s pretty special.
Her songs are sumptuous treats, tinged with strings and dripping with melody – very old-school approaches in an increasingly techno-cold music world.
Her humor is warm and self-deprecating and even though some of her stage banter is obviously structured, there is still always the feeling that you never know what might come out of her mouth next – but it will likely be punctuated with a giggle and the occasional curse word.
Before heading into her final stretch of songs, Adele addressed the audience with genuine emotion and honesty.
“I will go away again, but I will come back again,” she promised.
The deep breath that it isn’t another seven-year wait.

An Opera on Separation - Chapter 13
Prologue | Ch. 1 | Ch. 2 | Ch. 3 | Ch. 4 | Ch. 5 | Ch. 6 | Ch. 7 | Ch. 8 | Ch. 9 | Ch. 10 | Ch. 11 | Ch. 12 | CH. 13 | Ch. 14 | Ch. 15 | Ch. 16 | Ch. 17 | Ch. 18 |
Summary: Emily’s relationship is on the rocks, but as far as Marietta Jones is concerned, the last word is still to be said on the matter. Will it be enough? Especially now that vultures roam to peck on the loves lost’s carcass.
Rating: T - Content not suitable for children.  Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with minor suggestive adult themes.
Words: 1640
Notes: Today’s song, Kate Bush’s Suspended in Gaffa, holds a special place on my regard. I got third place back in 2016 with that on the SADF Cape Town Dance Open. So listen, and comment for my own sanity’s sakes, please.
Furthermore, I have another announcement. I placed Wildest Dreams’ sequel on temporary hold. I’m not sure I’ll finish it or if it’ll rot on the Purgatory, AKA my Documents folder, but the thing is I’m finishing a Chris fic, so...
The funniest thing is that I don’t even like The Freshman, and yet it seems to be everything I write about. I think that’s because the characters are so vain and unidimensional (they’re whiny millenials, after all), I have an easier time into molding them to suit my own evil purposes.
Enjoy.

Suspended in Gaffa
In the course of the following weeks, things seemed to settle with Emily, Queenie and Nathan.
They fell into a comfortable routine that allocated little time to pointless arguing between the three of them, and, not unlike every other morning, the young man was cooking breakfast, whistling while doing so.
“Good morning!” The youngest roommate walks into the kitchen, all smiles as often.
“Good morning, Emily!” He responded, in equal amount of cheerfulness, while flipping a pancake with a cheeky flair. “I’m almost done with your stack.”
She took a seat at the counter. “You’re on a great mood this morning.” She noted.
The blond took to an uncharacteristic move and chuckled heartily. “Yeah, I suppose I am.”
“Any special motives?” The redhead probes, appreciative of the enjoyable and non-conflictive new mood of her housemate.
“No, nothing special.” The man answers, and after a while, continues: “I don’t know, I just have so much free time these days. I’m caught up with my movies and books I’ve been wanting to read for years. I picked up squash again with Mr. Hibert, down at 4B. And I’m cooking! I love to cook, but I couldn’t even eat right back when I was working.”
The young woman smiled kindly at him. “If you’re happy, I’m happy.”
“I am very happy.” He nodded. “Today’s the last day of school, isn’t it?”
She shook her head. “Nah, the students get off today, but the teachers will have to wait until Friday to leave for the Winter break. We have exams and planning meetings to attend.”
“So you’re free this weekend?” He asks while settling the stack of pancakes in front of her.
“I have to grade the end-of-term tests for my students, but after that I’m completely free.” She responds. “And these pancakes are to die for!”
The fair-headed man smirks. “Thanks. And I was thinking of watching a stupid blockbuster on the big TV on the living room Saturday night. Would you care to join?”
The ginger tutted. “I guess it wouldn’t hurt if I didn’t finish it all on the first day of break. Sure, why not? Six works for you?”
He scoffed. “I’ll be sure to work it out on my busy, busy schedule.”
“Don’t you make a girl feel special?” She laughed of his comment.
The two of them continue to talk amicably until it was time for Emily to leave for school.
“Hello, Ms. Harper.” Marietta knocks on the door of the classroom while Emily got ready for lunch. “I wanted to have a word with you today. Could I walk you to the teacher’s lounge?”
“Of course.” She responded, wary of what could possibly be the subject of such conversation.
The two women walked out the room, Emily locked the door and Marietta begun to talk: “You see, Ms. Harper, I have been speaking with a few of your students about your classes.”
The redhead gasps softly in concern. “Is there something wrong? If there’s something I could do better, I would be more than happy to rectify my behaviour.”
The Caribbean woman laughed, dismissively. “Oh, no, not at all. Much the opposite, the students say they love your classes. I believe their words were ‘kind’, ‘patient’ and ‘smart’. You’ve made a great impression on them!”
Emily giggled in embarrassment. “They are great students, as well. I’m glad they like my teaching, especially for me being so inexperienced.”
“Experience is the one thing you can be sure it comes with time.” Ms. Jones smiles kindly. “Ms. Harper, I have to ask, what’s your plans for the next school year?”
“I’m not really sure.” She confessed. “I’m still trying to settle in New York and all the singledom and living with my mom again.”
The two educators reach the teachers’ lounge and take a seat over an unoccupied table.
The black woman, then, nods to the other’s declaration. “Well, I think you already know, but Mr. Smith of the English department is retiring in June. And the superintendent insists in sending the worse hires, we rarely take the long end of the stick with teachers around here.
“Which leads me to my question: would you be interested in teaching high school come August? You’ll receive a raise, of course, and you’ll have your own classroom. And…” She stops to think a little. “I guess those are all the benefits I can offer you.”
“But what about my GED classes?” The younger woman asks, concerned for them not having a Reading teacher in the coming year.
“That’s up to you. If you feel that you can handle the extra workload, then you can keep on teaching both levels. But if you prefer teaching high school only, you also may. The raise will be less generous, but you’ll still have enough hours to qualify for full-time.” The principal explains.
Emily, hearing that, smiles widely. “Well, then I’m in. I’d love to teach high school and GED classes next year.”
It seemed like a load got out of Marietta’s shoulder. “I’m glad to hear it. I’ll contact the superintendent and inform him we’ll have a full English department next year, and you should talk to Mr. Smith about the transition.”
“Of course, ma’am.” The redhead nods.
“Moving on to lighter subjects,” The other woman smiles. “Who’s your Secret Santa?”
The white woman smirks. “Shouldn’t it be a secret?”
“I don’t do Secret Santa ever since a student thought it’d be funny to gift me a pair of lacy underwear.” She says, a hardness of an unfulfilled hatred shielding her eyes for an instant. “And I like knowing things before anyone else. Come on! Indulge a poor, old lady!”
Emily looks around to check if there was someone overhearing their conversation leans over and says: “Ms. Perth, from the Chemistry department.”
“She’s into cats. Try to find a porcelain statuette, she loves those.” Marietta responds and the two of them share a laugh.
It was then that Zig entered the room. He looked forlornly at Emily, who faced him with an equal expression of heartache.
Sensing the awkwardness, Marietta calls out: “Mr. Ortega! Why don’t you join us?”
He coughs. “I’m sorry, Ms. Jones, I just remembered I have to stop by the library to check on some books that arrived this week.”
“No, please, stay.” Emily stands up. “I’m already finished either way. Thanks, Ms. Jones, for your kind offer.”
She walks to the door, her perfume brushing Zig’s nose on her way out. He, then, occupies the seat left vacant by the woman.
“That was painfully awkward.” Marietta says, looking pointedly at the burly man next to her.
“Yeah, well, what can I do if she prefers to frolic around with her jailbait excuse for a husband?” He said, bitterly.
The woman rolled her eyes. “You can fight, for one. Last I understood, she made it very clear she wanted to be with you.”
“It’s useless.” He grumbles. “What frustrates me is that every time I am close to get the girl, down struts Nathan Sterling, the third,” The man sneers the filial name. “And messes everything up.”
“That’s enough, Zigmund Ortega!” Marietta hits with her fist against the table. “I forbid you to hold a pity party for yourself! You’re going to stand up, act your own age, and go after what you want right this instant!”
He looks disinterested at the older woman and drawls: “You got any ideas?”
“In fact, I do.” She fished a small slip of paper out of her pocket and shows it to reveal Emily’s name. “I rigged the Secret Santa. Congratulations, you drew Emily! Now go out and buy a nice present that shows her all your love and care. Now!”
Nathan was enjoying a nice cup of tea, brewed to perfection by his own two hands, while reading a light book. He was by himself at the apartment, and the tall floor made the traffic bellow sound like a soft white noise machine.
His peace, however, was soon to be destroyed by what seemed a wind gust running through the front door: “Emily hasn’t come home yet, has her?”
The man sighed. “No, Soraya, she has not.”
She smirked and pulled a small bunch of notes. “Here’s your cut for our little bake sale. The fatties loved your ‘fat-free’,” She used arrogant air-quotes. “chocolate croissants.”
The blond man laughed derisively. “Thank you, they flatter me with their voraciousness towards my cooking.”
“Speaking of which, how’s your Friday night?” Queenie walks over to the kitchen to grab a water bottle and Nathan trails behind.
“Nothing much.” He responds.
“Congratulations, then. You’ll win our TV back on a raffle I’m organizing.” The older woman smiles wickedly. “It’s for the poor children whose families can’t afford Christmas, see?”
“Of course.” He smirked and shook his head. “What about Emily, though?”
“Don’t worry about her.” She dismissed. “She’ll be on a Secret Santa party with the other teachers.”
Nathan grimaces with the thought and Queenie looks pointedly at him. “I know what you’re doing.”
He looks at her with his patented derisiveness. “What?”
“You’re trying to web Emily back with you.” The woman declared, hard and cold like steel. “I don’t know why, if you are competitive to the point you can’t see anyone else to be with what you once considered yours, or if you hate her and can’t stand to see her happy.
“What I do know, though, is that you’re not going to succeed. My daughter is trusting, naïve and good. But she’s not stupid. You’ve done some terrible things, Nathan, and you don’t get to come back from that.”
He scoffed. “You’re wrong, Soraya.”
“Am I? Am I really?” She smirked and left the kitchen.
Nathan, now alone, contemplates the glass full with water laying abandoned on the counter.
Queenie was wrong.

Artificial Grass Benefits
Benefits of Artificial Grass In Perth
Why not choose the perfect solution for your garden, imagine a fake lawn that does not need watering and does not need pesticides that harm the environment.
There are many benefits of having artificial grass Perth installed in the garden, so we’ve outlined just some of the major advantages of switching to artificial turf instead of living with below par, muddy natural garden grass.
Want to know the best part?
Pet urine will not cause brown spots, the kids can roll on it and never get muddy, the gardeners can retire because you don’t need to mow it.
 It gets better!
Below, we’ve listed our 7 main reasons to install artificial grass perth in your home.
  1. Reduce your water bills and save precious water
The effects of our hotter, drier summers are that natural grass often looks like the grass of the Med, yellow and straw-like. To keep a lawn green and springy requires water. Water is expensive and sometimes unavailable. Watering is hard work and takes hours to do.
You could save up to 70% of your water bill if you install perth artificial grass.
The cost of installing artificial lawn may be more than laying turf but in just three or four years your water bill will have almost “paid you back,” and from then on there is very little outlay other than an annual maintenance from the experts to keep it looking amazing. In hot climates, like in Australia, some 550 litres per person per day is used compared to a global average of 250 litres per person per day. One of the reasons for this high usage here is the amount of water we use to keep our country green. The superb quality fake grass perth, so perfectly green it can be seen from space.
 2. More time to relax
Once your new synthetic lawn is installed, you can sell your mower and stop worrying about watering… all you need to do is clear the leaves off it and occasionally give it a quick brush and spray, or call in the experts and we can give it a makeover (So don’t throw your hose away!).
 3. Perfect for your children
When you hear a cry and the kids are in the garden do you panic that they have fallen over on hard earth?
For both the very young and those of us who are less stable on foot, falling over on this system minimises impact. We can install soft foam pads underneath the grass to cushion any blows from falling over of slipping off a garden swing or from those more daring dance moves during your garden party.
  4. If your dogs are your priority
Dogs love artificial grass, as it is soft on their paws. They don’t care that it is easy to clean, though you will, Our synthetic grass perth has a perforated backing so urine flows through it. Solid waste is easy to pick up and far easier than clearing a natural lawn. We promise pet friendly artificial grass!
  5. Great for tenants and landlords
What are the problems with natural grass in rented properties? For the tenant, it is the worry about water costs and the drag of having to mow a lawn that isn’t even theirs. For you, it is keeping the place looking good while tenants are living in the property.
 6. The solution to shaded areas
Underneath a large tree or in a shaded area there is always a brown affected piece of lawn often full of moss. Real grass needs direct sunlight. Our artificial lawn does not. Your new garden will look green all over, all year round.
  7. Are you often away working or on holiday?
For the cruiser or the jet setter, a real lawn can be a pain. Whether you travel for your work or just like to go on holiday often, having a garden of natural grass is a responsibility and needs watering and looking after. How terrific to close your garden door and go away knowing that when you come home the synthetic lawn supply perth will be green and as short as when you left. With our artificial grass supply it will be as perfect as when you left it and your neighbours will love you.
  8. Throw away harmful pesticides
Keeping a natural lawn green and moss free doesn’t only take dedication, mowing and watering. It means you use harmful pesticides and herbicides that filter through the soil to the water table. They kill, they pollute, they cause health problems for innocent people who may not even have a lawn.
You can help planet earth and your own local environment by using World Class Surfaces™. We always encourage the introduction of some real flora beds to keep it even more realistic.
We also install artificial grass for dogs perth!

Please donate for my cousin's surgery.
https://www.gofundme.com/stephens-surgery Even if you can't donate, please spread the word. My aunt created a go find me page to help cover the bills of my cousin's surgery. Read below for the details written in her words: "As I stroke the keys for this letter I am overwhelmed by need. Our son, Stephen, is need of a surgery to decrease the amount of pain caused by a disease he has had since being a toddler. Perthes disease is a painful result of the lack of blood flow to the thigh bone (femoral head) a vascular necrosis. Perthes disease interrupted our family life when Stephen was 5 years old and received surgery to control the damage the disease was causing. He was then asked, by his doctor, not to partake in any impact or running sports. Stephen is not a child to set still for long so we encouraged him to dance; he was tapping his feet since birth. He reluctantly said yes and after 1 month, he was hooked. Rachel, his twin sister, was not opposed to having her best friend in classes with her. Stephen danced and performed with Ms. Samantha Graves and CYT for several years now and has chosen to stop all but his partnering class. Man does he love his partnering class! Dancing with Grace, Allison and Makayla; well he loves dancing with them all but these have been his main partners. Stephen has now quit dance. We have only been able to financially provide our family with the minimal insurance because of my current employment status, "permanent part time". So anything more than preventative doctor appointments, labs, imaging, or surgeries are not covered. Stephen needs surgery to repair the abnormality that the disease has caused while healing. It is an intense 3-4 hour surgery and he will be in the hospital for approximately 5 days. The procedure is scheduled for December 13. We will be home just in time for Christmas! We are estimating this procedure with the hospital stay to be more than $20,000; based on a procedure he had just a month or so ago to rule out Lymphoma, which was $16,000. The doctor has asked for $1500 by December 9th and reminded me that the Anesthesiologist, Hospital and Labs will want something down as well. We are a hard working family. Patrick is working 2 jobs and I am working close to 40 hours a week when I can. We just can't seem to keep up with supplying our children with their medical needs. It is difficult and humbling, to say the least, to ask for help and we would so greatly appreciate anything; including your prayers and friendship as we walk through this season."
