This classic game involves knocking down ten pins arranged in a triangular formation using a heavy bowling ball. The challenge and strategy involved make it an exciting sport that keeps players coming back for more.
In Edmonton, several bowling centers are equipped with the latest technology and offer a comfortable environment for both casual players and serious bowlers. Many of these venues feature glow-in-the-dark bowling, which is a favorite for late-night games. While 10 pin bowling is the most widely recognized form of the game, Edmonton is also home to a variant that is particularly popular in Canada: 5 pin bowling. This version was created to offer a lighter, faster-paced game that could appeal to players of all ages, especially younger bowlers.
In 5 pin bowling, the ball is smaller, and there are only five pins instead of ten. Each pin carries a different point value, with the center pin being worth five points and the outermost pins worth two points each. This version of bowling is less physically demanding than 10 pin bowling, making it a great option for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. For locals and visitors alike, exploring 5 pin bowling in Edmonton offers a unique spin on traditional bowling that’s equally fun and competitive.
An Exciting Addition: Cricket Bowling Machines in Edmonton
Beyond traditional bowling, Edmonton also caters to cricket lovers who are looking to practice their bowling skills in a controlled environment. If you’re someone who enjoys cricket, then you’ll be excited to hear about cricket bowling machines in Edmonton. Many of these venues offer special packages for groups, including food, drinks, and extended bowling hours. Alberta premier Danielle Smith supports new arena for Flames in Calgary
Alberta's premier has stated her support for a new arena in Calgary to house the NHL's Flames and wants the province to get involved. Danielle Smith said in a statement Tuesday that the 39-year-old Saddledome has served the community well, but can no longer compete with new buildings across North America for events, concerts and sports. "One need only look north to Rogers Place to see the host of world-class events being attracted to Edmonton along with the ongoing economic revitalization that facility has brought to its downtown core," Smith wrote. "Simply stated, Calgary needs a new world-class event centre and arena, and the time to commence with this project is now." Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) and the city have restarted talks on a new event centre after a previous agreement collapsed last year. The province didn't contribute any money to the construction of Edmonton's Rogers Place which opened in 2016, nor has it committed any dollars to Calgary's new building. Smith wants to find ways the province could help the city and the Flames complete the project. She's assigned Calgary-Hays MLA and former city councillor, Ric McIver, to be the province's representative. McIver is Alberta's former municipal affairs minister who was dropped from the United Conservative Party cabinet last week. "I've asked him to reach out to both the city and CSEC on how the province can be helpful in this regard," Smith said. "As someone who has lived most of my life in Calgary, I know the Flames are an integral part of the fabric of the city, not to mention a critical direct and indirect economic driver and job creator for the community." The initial estimate for Calgary's event centre was a $550 million split between the two parties, but that figure increased to $634 million. Shovels were scheduled to hit the ground this year for a 19,000-seat hockey arena and concert venue, but the Flames withdrew because of rising costs. Calgary city council voted in January to recruit a third party to get the project back on track. Commercial real estate moguls John Fisher, Guy Huntingford and Phil Swift were tasked with determining whether the Flames still wanted to partner on an arena, or if the city should look for other potential partners. The work concluded with the Flames agreeing to re-enter arena talks with the city. The city will be represented in negotiations by CAA ICON, which has managed the development of other arenas and stadiums, including Rogers Place. Edmonton's new arena cost $483.5 million to build, but the add-ons of a pedestrian corridor and transit connection, a community arena and a convention space called the Winter Garden brought the total cost of the project to $613 million. The Saddledome is the second-oldest arena in the NHL behind New York's Madison Square Garden. The proposed event centre on a parcel of land north of the Saddledome is envisioned as the heart of a larger revitalized commercial and residential district on the downtown's east side near the Stampede grounds. Just weeks after the Flames and the city agreed to an amended deal in July 2021, it fell apart when the city added an additional $19 million in roadwork and climate mitigation to the project, and wanted the Flames to pay for $10 million of that. CSEC president and CEO John Bean said then that not only would CSEC's share be $346.5 million compared to the city's $287.5 million, but the Flames bore the risk of any more rising costs. CSEC also owns the American Hockey League's Wranglers, Western Hockey League's Hitmen, Canadian Football League's Stampeders and National Lacrosse League's Roughnecks. After relocating from Stockton, Calif., for this season, the Wranglers joined the Flames, Hitmen and Roughnecks in playing home games out of the Saddledome this season.

Around Times Square (No. 14)
In much the same way as once the Luna Park formula changed the face of Times Square, the injection of Disney should reinvent the area as the cross-roads of the world. Disneyland is today's Luna Park, and the similarities are manifold.             Just as Luna Park was presented as a place far away from everyday life, Disney World (in Florida) and the Disney Lands (in California, Japan, and France) offer a similar escape from reality. Even more than the Moon being the destination of the Luna Park visitor, Disney is a vacation destination of its own. Disney World even has an official airline, Delta, a perfect symbol for its nationhood. Visitors can pay with either regular US Dollars or with "Disney Dollars", which can be exchanged one to one at the entrance of the park. While the Mickey Mouse money offers no advantage or discount in any way, it adds yet another degree of foreign-ness to the park.            And just like Luna Park, Disney is a descendant from the great expositions of the 19th century, derived from the industrial revolution. The 1851 Great Exposition of the Works of Industry of All Nations held in London was the first great utopia of global capital, displaying collected modern technologies in the first entirely prefabricated winter garden. Later, the fairs became differentiated, consisting of thematically arranged pavilions (manufacture, transport, science, etc.), entertainment oriented, national, and corporate pavilions. As the fairs grew, they also began to showcase utopian urbanism, displaying the cities of the future in both their pavilions as in their plans. While most of the ideas originated from Europe, America became the tabula rasa for utopian experiments.            Alongside the City Beautiful movement which evolved from the fairs, came the garden city movement, promoted by the Englishman Ebenezer Howard in Garden Cities of Tomorrow (1902). Many of the patterns originating from the garden city have been incorporated in the layout of the Disney Parks. In short, these ideas included a radial plan around a single center, the separation of pedestrians and vehicles, and functions in walking distance. The 1933 Century of Progress Exposition held in Chicago was the first to elevate all means of movement, pre-existing the famous Disney monorail.        Even more closely related to the World Fairs is Disney World's Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT). Located in the vicinity of Disney World, a short and scenic monorail ride away, everything about it resembles the great fairs: the garden city plan; the geodesic sphere in the center; the corporate and national pavilions. As in many Disney-rides, the visitors roll past perfectly orchestrated animatronic scenes in tiny cabs, an invention also brought forth by the World Fairs.            One of the major goals of the 42nd Street Development Project is to continue to attract the 20 million tourists that visit the area each year. For such as purpose, it seems all the more fitting that Disney take part in the plan. Amusement parks have continued to draw tourists, and Disney is the undisputed world leader. The current course of actions seems to follow the City Beautiful movement of the early 20th century. The Beaux-Arts architecture of the great fairs had been viewed as a great improvement to the city and a strong attractor of tourists. Similarly, it is now believed that the Disney-esque "architainment" can bring new life to the city. As the Beaux-Arts architecture was a baroque classicist style relying on imagery of the past, the Disney-esque architainment, ironically, recycles the honky-tonk Times Square / Luna Park baroque onto the area itself. Disneyland's famous Main Street Electrical Parade can be seen as mobile version of the Great White Way. Nightly, the entirely illuminated carriages and vehicles of the parade roll past the parks' visitors at the same pace one could walk across Times Square, creating a similar experience. Likewise, typical Disney architecture is an eclectic mix of past, present and futuristic styles mixed, jumbled and juxtaposed for maximum effect.             Shopping and entertainment have continued to grow closer to one another. The turn-of-the-century department stores were the first to promote mass consumerism in the form of shopping, as an entertaining activity. Early in their existence, department stores had already discovered that a theatrical presentation of goods could fascinate its customers. Scenery window displays transformed ordinary goods into more desirable goods.            Throughout the 20th century, and especially in the last three decades, the lines between retailing and entertainment have become blurred. Sports stores have simulators to test athletic skills (and products); music stores offer video performance and sometime live concerts; restaurants like Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe are the museums of popular culture, all turning the experience of shopping and eating into an entertaining and cultural event. "Megamalls," such as the gigantic West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada have turned shopping into an over-the-top entertainment experience. According to the Guinness Book of Records, it is the largest shopping mall in the world. The complex holds a number of other Guinness titles, such as the World's Largest Indoor Amusement Park, World's Largest Indoor Water Park, and the World's Largest Parking Lot. The mall also holds a full-size skating rink, 13 nightclubs, 20 movie theatres, and a 360-room hotel, aside from more than 800 shops, 11 department stores and 110 restaurants. The mall's developers intended to make sure that the shops would have plenty of visitors, creating a complete, self-contained entertainment city. In much the same way as Daniel Burnham predicted that his plans would attract tourists (see page 4), one of the mall's developers shouted at the opening, "What we have done means you don't have to go to New York or Paris or Disneyland or Hawaii. We have it all here for you in one place, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada!"15 The combination of 'architainment' and retail seem to make a typical late 20th century tourist draw. A massive shopping venue encased in merry architecture and impregnated with entertainment are the city centers of tomorrow. It is this set of images, in part derived from Times Square, that will be re-imposed on the area itself.             Throughout its history, Times Square has been an exciting place. Despite its degradation in the last third of the century, it continued to draw millions of tourists each year. Entertainment businesses and theatres remained in and around the area. As much as Times Square became known for its adult shows and bookstores, it kept being known as a remarkable entertainment district with a rich history and strong potential. Many critics complain that the efforts of rebuilding Times Square are focused on preserving myths and illusions, and emblematic characteristics. This may well be, but one must not forget that Times Square was primarily created and constantly altered by economic forces. One could argue that Times Square is not just an entertainment district, it is an entertainment business district. And as entertainers such as Thompson & Dundy and Walt Disney have proved, entertainment is a good and fast-moving business. It is only logical that they met at Times Square.

About My Band - The Naturals: Vancouver’s Live Band On Demand That Knows Over 500 Songs
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aaah The Naturals! Now THERE’S a band that has taken me through many adventures. It all started over 8 years ago on August 2012. Like all bands, we came from humble beginnings. Both myself and long-time friend/bandmate Jarrett started the Live Band Karaoke event through a very awesome Irish friend who pitched us the idea for his previous bar. He told us it’d be a neat idea because Jarrett and I knew loads of songs. The whole live band karaoke experience has already been a thing in places like Vegas, but we felt it would be a great idea to get something right in our own town, giving the people of Vancouver THE ultimate rock star experience. Thus, our event “Rockaoke” and The Naturals were born!
When Jarrett and I, along with previous members from the first lineup of Rockaoke, ran our first few months of this live band karaoke event at our first venue, we started off with a catalogue of 75 songs. I remember how stressful it was learning a bunch of songs, but each week we pushed through and do our best to do better. Each week, our catalogue started building up when our regular attendees put in requests of new tunes for us to learn.
Fast forward months later, we moved our way up the venue ladder, playing at a much larger establishment called the Vancouver Fanclub (R.I.P). We were spoiled with a large stage, a house drumkit, guitar amps, and a professional sound guy. By this time, our show has evolved to more unique formats. Our member lineup by this time has already changed, including having Justin P. Brown on bass and Joel “Dr. Goulet” Flynn on vocals, acoustic guitar, and playing the role as official host. One of our unique formats include having special-themed catalogues each month, starting off with “Zepptember”, paying tribute to Led Zeppelin. It then lead to other themes including “Ozztober” for Ozzy Osbourbe/Black Sabbath, “Nirvember” for Nirvana, and “AC/DCember” for AC/DC. Other themes you can find on our website at www.rockaokelive.com
Unfortunately the Vancouver Fanclub shut down after we played there for two years, but we moved on to the legendary Railway Club in the heart of downtown (now called Railway Stage and Beer Cafe). By that time, our musical catalogue was at over FIVE-HUNDRED songs (again, all thanks to bandmates and regular attendees for building the list). Though we only had a run at Railway for just a few years, it was, without a doubt, still a fun and interactive community-building musical experience.
Aside from our live weekly shows, The Naturals and I have also brought both traditional performances and the live band karaoke experience to private functions including birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, and conferences. However, my favourite and most memorable gig on that scale was travelling to Prince George, BC (a small town that’s over 780km from Vancouver) to play for the Canadian Winter Games festivities. THAT was without a doubt my first experience ever playing music out of town. We even played through the hot summers of Vancouver Island and the extremely cold storms of Edmonton, Alberta.
Another gig that stood out for me personally was doing a traditional live performance at our iconic, historic pub called The Cambie, located in the Gastown area of downtown Vancouver. I luckily scored that gig as they were looking for a cover band to perform the theme of 70′s night, which was THE perfect gig considering our catalogue consisted of classic rock, disco, and funk (Stevie Wonder, Zeppelin, Sabbath, AC/DC, Parliament, and much more). Our friend Spider was playing bass with us that night, and he can tell you today how much of a great time he had that evening (during “Superstition”, there was a fun dance-off between two members in the crowd).
To all you musicians out there in Vancouver and all around the world who play in cover bands, I salute each and every one of you for learning thousands of songs, especially if they’re tunes that are before your time, way after your time, and dare I say it...not your line of musical taste. To those who host live band karaoke or something similar...my hats off to you also, especially if you’re dealing with a wild crowd and singers who may not have the highest musical expertise (but able to help make them look like rock stars).
The Naturals and I evolved as musicians over the years. We continue to think outside the box, grab every possible opportunity to entertain people, and even expand our talent roster with local special guests, whether it’d be lead guitar, bass, vocals, or any other instruments people were willing to bring to the table. Without this amazingly talented bunch (and previous helpers who contributed so much along the way), I honestly wouldn’t know where I’d be today as a musician. Despite our pandemic, we have been doing some socially-distant gigs to entertain people in a safe way for now. But there’s no better way to make our days better than playing our favourite songs while we strive to recover.
Thank you for reading, and keep playing! :)

Anzac Highlights: Recreation Centre
Celebrating half a decade in community recreation excellence
For the past five years, the Anzac Recreation Centre has been offering guests an outlet for fitness, community events and championship games in its state-of-the-art facility.
The 112,000 square-foot structure features a fitness centre, an indoor running track, a youth room, an NHL-sized arena, a field house, an indoor playground, a boardroom and meeting spaces.
Located by Willow Lake at 237 Stony Mountain Road, the rec centre first opened on March 3, 2014. It was developed and built by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) to accommodate the population growth in Anzac, which has slowed down in the region post-wildfire.
According to the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo, the Centre celebrated its grand opening with a performance by Canadian rock icons Trooper. (The band will be returning to Fort McMurray for the Wood Buffalo Ribfest on August 31, 2019.)
The celebration event also included soccer and football clinics, which granted local youth opportunities to train with the pros from FC Edmonton and the Edmonton Eskimos.
“We’ve witnessed this Centre transform from bricks and mortar to a state-of-the-art facility that will provide increased community, recreation and athletic opportunities for the local communities. We hope this Centre will serve as a pillar of the community for years to come,” Tony Mankowski, former VP Operations at Nexen Long Lake stated in a news release by RRC.
Today, it continues to improve the livelihood of the Anzac community, and guests credit the staff of the facility for being “rock stars” in service.
On the Anzac Recreation Centre’s Facebook page, it receives a 4.8 out-of-five based on the opinion of 17 people, and 37 people recommend it.
Jennifer Van Der Voort was a recent visitor and gave the facility a five-star rating.
“Anzac Recreation is incredible. They have a deep love and compassion for the rural area they serve,” she stated on the Facebook page. “Their employees are local rock stars, and I love the new programs they have been running.”
While the facility holds regular events for the community, it has also shared its part in hosting athletes from across Canada as it was the venue for the Canadian Ringette Championships in 2015.
According to Ringette Canada, the championships are “designed to crown champions in the U16, U19 and National Ringette League (19+) divisions.” Ringette Canada’s championships are held annually in late March or early April. In 1979, the first championships took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The recreation centre was also one of the 11 host venues during the 2018 Wood Buffalo Alberta Winter Games, which brought thousands of athletes from across the province to participate in 22 different sports in the Wood Buffalo region.
The Alberta Games alternate through cities in the province each year. Not only do they provide over 2,800 young athletes with the chance to challenge themselves, and others, through sport at a provincial level, but the Games also enable the opportunity for Albertans to get to know their home province, celebrate its culture and boost the economy.
The Anzac Recreation Centre will be on the list of venues for the upcoming 2020 Arctic Winter Games, which are the largest, northern multi-sport and cultural event in the world.
According to the RMWB news release, past Games have provided $7.65 to $14.3 million to the event hosts’ economies. The total cost to host the Games is between five to eight million dollars.
The official announcement for the RMWB claiming the host title took place on February 8, 2019, at MacDonald Island.
RMWB Mayor Don Scott shared excitement alongside Alberta Minister of Culture and Tourism Ricardo Miranda and Co-Chair for the Wood Buffalo 2022 Arctic Winter Games Kim Rizzi.
“I’m excited that our region will be hosting a major international event and welcoming thousands of visitors to our community,” stated Mayor Scott in a news release.
To learn more about the Anzac Recreation Centre, and its memberships and facilities available, visit www.anzacrec.ca and stay tuned for more 2022 Arctic Games announcements on the RWMB’s website at www.rmwb.ca.

Voynov Should Not Return to the NHL
For years we have read or heard the phrase, “sports is my escape from the real world.” For many sports fans watching it, reading about it, writing about it or listening to sports talk radio is a nice reprieve from the office or life in general.
It still is that way for many people, and it should be. Being a fan is supposed to be fun, but sometimes it can be equally frustrating depending on the direction of the team you cheer for.
However, I believe we can’t completely separate sports from the real world anymore.
Sports is one of the few things that unites people from all walks of life. If you are an Edmonton Oilers fan it doesn’t matter what your job is, your ethnicity or your gender. You all cheer together. Look at the diversity of fans who congregate at Jurassic Park for a Toronto Raptors playoff game. Watch them erupt in joyous unison after a clutch shot. While racism still exists in our society, sporting events often show people of different colour hugging, smiling and enjoying the journey together.
It is wonderful.
However, sports, and how they are covered has opened up opportunities where real life and sports need to intersect.
One of those examples is former NHL defenceman Vyacheslav Voynov.
Yesterday arbitrator Shyam Das upheld NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman’s decision that Voynov should be suspended for the equivalent of one NHL season, but Das found Voynov should be credited with having already served 41 games of the suspension last season. So Voynov will be eligible to return midway through next season.
The Los Angeles Kings own his rights and sent out a press release soon after Das’ ruling was announced.
“Today the NHL arbitrator rendered a final decision on further discipline to Slava Voynov. From our perspective, the player will not be playing for the Kings. We will now determine the impact of the arbitrator’s decision on our rights to the player and consider our options going forward.”
Voynov won’t be playing for the Kings, but will another NHL team acquire his rights and sign him to an NHL contract?
Before we discuss that, let’s look at the situation that led to Voynov being suspended by the NHL in 2014 for domestic abuse.
Voynov spent almost two months in jail after pleading no contest to corporal injury against a spouse. Upon his release from jail he was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but rather than attend immigration proceedings he elected to return to Russia. He played three seasons for the KHL’s St. Petersburg’s SKA. Last year he didn’t play anywhere as he sat out his suspension.
Reading he plead no contest and went to jail is one thing. Reading what he did to get put in jail is much different.
Katie Strang outlined the viciousness of Voynov’s attack on his then-girlfriend, now wife, Marta Varlamov in an outstanding article for the Athletic last June. You can read the entire piece here. I urge you to read it. It is wonderful journalism, but also heart-breakingly painful to read how awful one human could treat another.
A few lines really stood out to me.
“A statement included within that report states that, while attending a team Halloween party, the two began arguing, during which Voynov removed [Varlamova’s] costume glasses and stomped on them in front of the guests. When they continued arguing outside the venue, Voynov “punched her in the left jaw with a closed fist.”
Strang continued to outline what the police report said.
The two returned home and their argument continued. “Voynov wrapped both of his hands around Ms. Varlamova’s neck and began to squeeze, making it difficult for her to breathe.” Voynov, according to the motion, “continued to choke her while repeatedly pushing her to the floor of the bedroom,” telling her to “get out,” that there would be “no more money for her,” and that she would be “gone.”
According to the motion, Voynov then “kicked her five or six times all over her body” and when she attempted to stand he “pushed her down directly into the bottom corner of the flat screen television that was mounted to the bedroom wall.” Varlamova sustained “a head laceration that resulted in severe bleeding” and throughout all of this “she repeatedly screamed for him to stop.”
Strang obtained 911 transcripts of a call from a neighbour worried about a women screaming and not being treated well.
I encourage you read the entire story.
Even in 2019 when we are a bit more open to discuss domestic or sexual abuse than previous generations, when you read the details of what Voynov did it is much worse than the picture most of us have in our minds when we think what abuse looks like. I believe if you’ve never beaten your child or spouse (man or woman), or been a victim of abuse, it is hard to truly imagine what abuse really looks like.
It is demeaning. It is dangerous. It is ugly. And it is fucking deplorable.
But sadly, it still occurs far too often. Children are abused. Women are abused. Men are abused. The elderly are abused. No group is immune to it.
While men are still more likely to be the abuser, there are many cases of women abusing their partners or spouses.
If we never discuss it, I doubt it will diminish.
It is an uncomfortable discussion and there are many aspects to consider.
Voynov’s case is in the spotlight, and NHL fans can’t just ignore it.
Some don’t want to talk about it. Some feel it isn’t their business, that it is between Voynov and his wife.
I respect that, but I think it is worthy of discussion.
If we want change in society, then we have to discuss uncomfortable things.
Reading what Voynov did to Varlamova made me sick. I can’t imagine punching someone you love in the face. Or choking them, or kicking them repeatedly. And the scary thing is it wasn’t the first time. He not only felt it was okay to physically abuse her, he felt it was okay to do it repeatedly according to witness testimony.
But Voynov is far the only abuser in the sporting world. The statistics tell us there are likely abusers among fans, bloggers, media, players, and NHL staff. We don’t want to think about it, but we shouldn’t pretend those people don’t exist.
It is an epidemic in society that needs to stop, and if the sporting world has to be the leader, then so be it. We should welcome the responsibility.
The Los Angeles Kings said they will not sign Voynov. Will another team trade for his rights this summer?
Yesterday on Twitter I asked people a trio of questions.
Has Voynov been punished enough for abuse? Does he deserve a second chance? Would you be okay if your NHL team signed him?
The results had no middle ground. You either thought yes, he deserves a second chance, or you were adamant no NHL team should sign him.
I believe in second chances, but the person has to show remorse, and also prove they have changed. How much therapy has he done? Did he go with his wife? Has he spoke publicly about what he learned and how he has changed. For me, it couldn’t just be a blind “he deserves a second chance.”
If a team signs him they better have a good PR plan of how this will work, because there will be a backlash, and rightfully so.
Voynov hasn’t played in the NHL for essentially five seasons. He played six games in 2014/2015, before the aforementioned attack occurred. But after he spent almost two months in jail, he has worked. He was employed by the KHL. He was given a second chance and he made a good living doing so.
Does the NHL owe him a second chance?
If I was a owner of an NHL team I would not sign him.
It is my business and as a business owner you have the right to choose who you employ. It would send a strong message to your staff, players and fans that you don’t condone abuse.
Companies outside the sporting world do this. They have a code of conduct, and if you don’t adhere to it, you won’t work there anymore.
Why can’t NHL teams have the same?
They should simply take a stand and say we won’t employ people who abuse their spouse or children.
If you choose to abuse someone to the despicable level that Voynov did then you won’t be employed by our team any longer or in the future.
It is very straightforward.
And this isn’t about past cases. What happened in the past is irrelevant to me. I don’t care what discipline the NHL handed out in the 1980s, 1990s or even in 2010
Just like the rules have changed and evolved on the ice, it is time the NHL evolves and changes off of the ice.
I don’t believe in 2019 we should say, “stick to sports.”
Professional sports are one of the most followed activities in the world. People of all ages, races and walks of life follow it closely.
If the NHL takes a hard stand against domestic abuse, maybe it will make someone think twice about abusing someone in the future.
Maybe it won’t stop them, but at least the NHL will have created a new code of conduct.
I hope Voynov and his family find forgiveness for each other. I have a lot of empathy for his family and I hope he has stopped abusing his wife.
But I wouldn’t have him on my team. I wonder how many owners and GMs will feel the same?
