Hey! Um I have a question and I don't know i you have the answer but maybe??? Was it ever confirmed in AOT (manga) that Hanji was a woman???

Not that I know of. Isayama said he doesn't want gendered pronouns to be used when referring to Hanji, or at least to use as many male as female pronouns while translating. Kodanshas interpretation of his words is that it doesn't really matter and anything is fine, but since Isayama kept pushing non gendered pronouns I think he was pretty clear that the character is nonbinary 🤷‍♀️

even before hotd came out, i was team black all the way. i sympathized with team green of course, from aemond getting his eye slashed to blood and cheese, i completely understood where team green's frustrations with and hatred of team black was coming from. also, i think fire and blood's canon was very green leaning? like correct me if i'm wrong but from what i remember, mushroom was obvi a very unreliable source and made up some shit about the blacks, like him catching rhaenyra and harwin in bed. but idk just reading that a woman is getting passed over for the throne on the base of her sex and her fighting back and people supporting her for it was what made me go 👀 when i was first introduced to the dance of the dragons timeline so even from the beginning, before i really read up on all the lore, i had a soft spot in my heart for rhaenyra/team black just because my own family passes me up for my brothers and guy cousins and because male interns always get treated a little better at my internship. BUT ANYWAYS it's so interesting seeing team green lovers like you bc i forget you guys exist like literally team black content floods my tumblr, twitter, and instagram and sum of these team black stans GO HARD shooting for rhaenyra. i've literally been obsessed with aemond and ewan mitchell since episode 8 dropped tho SO LIKE i fucking love your blog and when you go off on why you support team green, i'm like oh okay slay w fucking logic and reason

AAAA STOP IT IM KISSING YOUR BRAIN!!! when i was first introduced to this whole thing i was also leaning more to team black because if you read the book then you know team green are just awful awful people. but then the show came and the writers did an excellent job diverging from the book. they actually gave the characters depth, they make you sympathize with them because at some level you can relate to them and understand them, which with the characters in the book you can’t because they are simply terrible people. that’s why i like the show more, even tho i really don’t like a few things. and being team green or team black doesn’t mean you’re going to defend your team when they do terrible things, or your favorite character, because some of the things they do aren’t defendable. i’m saying this because i’ve seen a lot of people saying that we —team green people— don’t care if they do something bad because we are blinded or some shit like that. i speak for me, of course, i’m sure there are people who will always defend their team no matter what. BUT both teams do shitty things and neither of these characters are a hundred percent good or innocents (i’m not talking about helaena bc that’s my innocent little baby and she deserved so much more) and at the end of the day it really does not matter. we are here to enjoy these books and shows, not to argue and insult each other as i’ve seen most of the fandom do on twitter.
