Lovers Wife.

Lover the once kind caring man who loved all, paied a steep price for wanting a child. He paied a woman to bear his child and then to relinquish them to him.

Apon the birth of his daughter, the Woman demanded more compensation. To be wed to the village mage guard for more protection and his love seemed to be her goal.

Lover, refused to marry her, for he never loved her.

The woman sneered grabbing his child

"If you will not marry me. I will take your daughter and leave her to the wolves."

Lover oblibged.

Lover was caught in a loveless marriage with a woman who was keen on isolating him and almost screwing up his duties putting everything at risk and...

she chased away the first man he had ever loved.

Seeing her as more of a risk and liability. He conducted a plan.

He packed a romantic picnic for two, the wife gloating how he "Finally came around" he only smiled to her. He lead her deep within the forest hushing her to be quiet...He set down the picnic, and quickly shoved her into a grand oak tree.

"You have nearly gotten my stronghold killed one to many times. I will not allow your incolence to be the destruction of the lambs. You wish to leave my daughter to the wolves?"

"how about you face them first."

Begging, bartering for her life lover only grabbed a wine bottle, he slammed it on the floor covering the wife in its contence. She looks down horrifies

The blood of a lamb.

"you can't do this to me!! You can't! After all I've given you?!" She screams

"you and you alone signed your death when you nearly lead the wolves to the stronghold. Everyone wishes for you to be the one to feed them. Your death will be silent and slow. May you face your maker with shame."

Lover softens his eyes gently cupping her cheek.

He lean placing a kiss apon her lips, a spell silencing her for evermore

Lover quickly turns heel kicking the basket spilling more of its bloodied contents. He runs off as the laughing of wolves grows ever closer.

He drops a gold wedding band into the river washing away the blood of an evil mother.
