Perhaps there's some truth to the idea that the real danger of blood magic isn't that it draws its power from sacrifice, or that it tempts the greedy and ambitious into using the suffering of others to fuel their spells. Perhaps the danger is simply that we do not understand it, and that lack of understanding invites disaster even when our intentions are pure.'

So yes. Well, apparently all you'll get tonight is the shouting and the flailing. More detailed analysis of the DA lore and implications will have to wait until later. For now, there's just this.

GRIFFONS GRIFFONS GRIFFONS THERE ARE BABY GRIFFONS OMG IF WE DON'T GET TO SEE BABY GRIFFONS IN THE NEW GAME I WILL BE SERIOUSLY PUT OUT.

Ahem.

Also, I would like to issue a big "fuck you" to Thedosian historians who call Garahel the Hero of the Fourth Blight, because yeah, he took the final blow, but without Isseya and the rage-monster griffons they would never have gotten that far. But I guess no one wants to write "and then we did serious blood magic that drove a race of creatures into extinction" into the history books. 

But GRIFFONS. 400-year-old baby griffons who survived in eggs because magic. GIVE ME THOSE BABY GRIFFONS.

What if Warden!Carver is partnered with a griffon and names it Feathers because he remembered Merrill's wish?
